Yes, of course I’m still with Dr. Smith! Why on earth would anyone change when you’ve got the best. This man is unbelievable. He knows ME! He knows my health without reading a file. He knows my emotional health. He knows my social and family issues and triumphs. Without any doubt whatsoever, I can say this is a doctor who is unique not only in his profession, but a wonderful, caring and loving human being. What else can you say about a man?

I LOVE Dr. Smith. He has been amazing as I have moved my grandparents into my home. He has done in home visits and has been just a great Dr. To work with. I am an RN and I have found his care to be extremely thoughtful!

He is so compassionate. What a find in the hussle bustle of medical practice.

Dr. Smith has been my physician for over 20 years. He is without a doubt one of the best primary care providers in the state. After so many years he feels more like a friend. In fact I would consider him a friend. He genuinely cares about his patients. His assistant Tressa is wonderful as well. I hope that I never have to find another doctor, they would be hard-​pressed to fill his shoes.

I have been a patient of Tom Smith, MD, on and off for years. Unfortunately at the present time it’s «off» due to insurance coverage reasons. But I’m working on that…
Dr. Tom is the best doctor I have ever had. I used to say that about his brother Dr. Tim, who was my doctor back in the 90’s. They are both EXCELLENT!
Going to see Dr. Tom is more like going to see a friend than a doctor. His medical skills are top-​notch and his demeanor very friendly and calming. I have referred friends to him, and each of them think he’s the best doc they’ve ever had.
The only hesitation I have in writing this review is my fear that doing so will result in his patient load being full before I am able to change my insurance and continue seeing him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for a little over 2 months. My previous MD retired and I could not find a primary care physician I was comfortable with. They all seemed intent on spending precisely 8.5 minutes in the exam room with you and then it was on to the next patient.
Dr. Smith is SO opposite that. He takes the time to listen. to ask questions, to be thorough in his exam and EXPLAIN test results and treatments.
In a recent issue with my insurance provider not wanting to pay for a specific medication that tests had shown would be the most effective, Dr. Smith went to bat for me and found alternative sources to pay for this life-​saving medication.
This man TRULY cares about his patients and I am SO BLESSED to have been referred to him (Thank you Allison!)

I am blessed to have Dr. Smith as my compassionate and highly knowledgeable physician. Though I had to see another wonderful Dr. for a few years before she retired because Dr. Smith moved his practice for a time, I was overjoyed when he returned closer to my Seattle home. He’s the best, and his staff are great as well. You may have to wait a bit, as others have commented, but that’s how the best, patient-​centered doctors work. Thank you Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith… well what do I say… is Great. I found Dr. Smith about 3 years ago when my then current Dr. left the area. At that time he shared a practice on Mercer Island. The staff there was very rude. For the past couple of years Dr. Smith has been at his current location in Ballard and the sole Dr. in the office. The office is small, but in a very comfortable way. New patients may sometimes find the wait a bit long, but this is more than outweighed by the fact that once you are with Dr. Smith you are treated like you are the only person in the world. This is extremely important due to the fact that many if not most of Dr. Smith’s patients, including myself have unique medical conditions. I have always been treated as an individual and not part of a cattle call. I am also veteran and Dr. Smith has always taken the time to correlate with my VA care. He takes the time to evaluate, explain in an understandable way the condition and promotes a workable treatment partnership. The office staff is professional, yet friendly and personable.

Dr. Smith has an office that makes you feel like family. You can talk to everyone very easily and feel at ease. The office is a new location and a bit small but works since Dr. Smith is the only Doctor at this location. Had a few issues with the company that was doing the billing but that has all been cleared up and that company let go the person who as causing most the issues. Here with Dr. Smith, you can feel like you can say anything and be very open and frank with him about any issues. I have been a patient for a few years now.

«Dr. Tom» is the most compassionate and helpful physician I have ever known. He’s the Country Doctor of the present. His listening, questioning and diagnostic skills go far beyond the norm. His referrals are the best of the best and he can get you in to see them far faster than on your own. Each patient is given all the attention and time they need. (Sometimes all you need is a sincere hug.) I think of him as my very own personal doctor and I’ll keep seeing him as long and wherever he practices.
