The Flats at Interbay

We moved in a few months ago and relocated from far away. Andy helped make our move so much easier. He was always available and quick to answer any question both email and phone call. He accommodated to all our needs including a FaceTime tour. He was also so personable, upbeat and easy to talk to. We love seeing him in the office and he’s always there ready to help whenever someone needs.

We have lived here for 7 months now and the end of our lease can’t come soon enough !
I wish it were possible to give no stars at all.
I don’t even know where to start, everything from noise, theft, a very poorly designed parking garage, and very poor insulation.(extremely hot in the summer, cold in the winter and no heat in the bathroom at all)
The people above us stomp around like a herd of elephants and slam the giant glass rolling doors that separate the bedroom from the rest of the tiny overpriced apartment. We have complained about the noise to the management and were told that the tenements claim are very lame and always quiet and we must be making it up, so as of now the problem hasn’t been resolved. We go to bed at 9pm every night and they are noisy from 7-​midnight usually. We have had a lot of theft in the parking garage with bike thieves returning multiple times, also car windows broken out when cars are parked on the street. There is a fairly big homeless population that stay close to the property as well, there are old rotting mattresses on the sidewalk, and the residents don’t clean up after their dogs when they poop. Overall I would have expected a much better and quieter /​insulated apartment considering the $ 1850 a month for less than 600 sq ft.
The parking garage is a joke as well the parking stalls are about 12″ too narrow, most of us have to drive into another open space when it’s available so we can turn around and get a straight shot to park Others just bump the neighbors car lightly and just leave, people love to smoke right outside the parking garage as well so on a rainy day it smells like an old ashtray in the garage.
I’m sure there is some more that I left out, but now for the good
The Maintenance staff stays right on top of cleaning and repairs, and are quite helpful
And the Management has always been friendly and nice, recently we just had a complete staff change and I haven’t met any of them yet but I’m sure they are nice as well give no stars at all.

We have enjoyed the beautiful building and everyone is so extremely nice! Kristina has been wonderful and attentive.

Brand new! What’s not to like. I have a small studio that includes in-​unit laundry, nice full-​size heavy duty front loaders. The latest and greatest appliances, and remarkably quiet. Dog friendly. Staff are here 7 days a week all day long to answer questions and help out. Online active building site makes paying rent and requesting service easy. You also get announcements and notices when your packages arrive. Garage spaces are tight but needed unless you don’t mind hunting for street parking and leaving your vehicle exposed in the city. Happy hour Thursdays with snacks and coffee and cookies every day in the lounge. This is a top class service building. Units are going fast — take a look if you are quiet and respectful of others and want to be around the same.
