Specialties

We specialize in individual serving cheesecakes in a variety of flavors, including our most popular Raspberry White Chocolate and our unique Mexican Chocolate cheesecake (dark chocolate with cinnamon and cayenne pepper). Made with natural ingredients, cage-​free eggs and never anything that has hydrogenated oils.

Also available is our cheesecake truffles. Two bites, for most people, of cheesecake goodness dipped in dark Guittard chocolate. They come in almost as many flavors as our cheesecakes.

Not to be missed is our Colombian Hot Chocolate. A thick sipping chocolate made with melted dark chocolate, organic whole milk, Colombian coffee and spices. A favorite on the Savor Seattle Food Tours!

History

Established in 2006.

Originally opening in Wellington, New Zealand in 2003, The Confectional opened in Pike Place Market in December, 2006 to adoring fans of a quality gourmet cheesecake.

Voted ‘Best Dessert in Western Washington’ in October, 2008 on KING5 TV’s «Evening Magazine» by viewers.

Meet the Business Owner

Paul V.

Business Owner

Paul first opened the business in New Zealand while living abroad with his partner. Upon returning to Seattle he secured a storefront space in the historic Pike Place Market. His best friend since college, Destiny S. opened the store with him bringing a strong background in marketing. Along with Paul’s partner Troy H. the three of them make a dynamic team excited to bring impeccable customer service and undeniably delicious cheesecakes to the people.
