I had fantastic customer service with Lise. She really took the time to explain each product I was interested in, their ingredients and benefits in great detail. She matched me with two separate foundations perfectly, a compact & liquid tea tree bb cream. I left very happy & she also gave me a sample of her favorite clay mask which I’ll definitely run out and buy when it’s gone because it’s fantastic. :)

I love The Body Shop and have been a loyal customer for years but I did not have a great experience at this store.
I know the girl helping me was trying but there were 2 mistakes on my purchase. My Love Your Body membership had expired but she couldn’t give me an explanation as to why the membership cost wasn’t reduced with my purchase (after she said it would be because of the amount of product I was purchasing) and also why 10% wasn’t taken off my purchase upon renewing (which it should be).
She couldn’t void my order bc I had used expired groupon credit but as a result I missed out on the membership fee discount and also the 10% discount.
She gave me some soaps to make up for this fact which was nice but I still wasn’t completely satisfied because my transaction was not correct. She said she would call about my membership to see why the % wasn’t taken off and why the membership fee wasn’t reduced but I have no way of knowing if this was done and what the outcome will be.
The buying experience was just very disorganized and confusing. Also, she didn’t put two of my soaps in my bag at the end of my transaction and I had to remind her that they were mine.
I love the products and will continue to be a customer but might not come back to this store.

This place is comparable to many high end body care shops. I got a satsuma perfume for $ 7, and my super good looking boyfriend is happy with it. They also feature a sweet coconut fragrance. If you want unique scents and friendly service, step outside of your average perfume store and check this place out ;)

I usually come to this location because it’s closest to my home and I’ve never had a terrible experience here; they’ve all been pretty good. The Body Shop is a great place to purchase skin care products (face products, body lotions, etc) because:
1) their products are all all-​natural, gentle on your skin, and environmentally friendly
2) they donate parts of their proceeds to charities and
3) they always have some kind of a deal going on.
I recently came here because I won a drawing for their «Queen for a Day» pampering drawing and chose the face skin care route for my pampering. The girl who was my pamperer, Nicole, was incredibly knowledgable of all their products AND they actually do what they say they’re going to do. The Aloe toner and serum have completely evened out the redness in my sensitive-​skinned face! And the hemp body butter is the only thing that alleviates my crocodile-​skin legs.
If you have skin care concerns — dryness of skin, redness, acne, etc — I would strongly recommend trying out products at The Body Shop. Try them out in the store and then ask for samples. They’re seriously wonderful.

I spend the most time at this location and believe it’s where I receive the best service. The products are what I would expect from any of The Body Shop stores.
Staffing levels have improved a bit since my last visit. Like my previous review, I believe regardless of staffing levels, staff members will give you a high level of service. The last time I was in there, one person was working and she was serving 5 of us in the store.
I typically don’t update reviews unless there has been a change in my star rating. I’ve made an exception. After years of being a Love Your Body member, I finally went in for my birthday month celebration. I’ve never gone before because it’s during the work week and the last thing I want to do during the week is go to the mall. Anyhow, I had a particularly crappy day and decided that my day could only get better. For your birthday, you get a gift, $ 10 off a purchase, hand massage, cupcake, and a makeover. I thought my free gift would be samples or something like that. It’s true, I received samples. I also received a full sized mascara, body wash, and Frango chocolates. What? That was super cool. I thought the birthday celebration was a nice thing and I was glad I went.
Over the years, I’ve come to love body butters, lip balms, and tons of different hand creams. I never really paid much attention to the makeup. A girlfriend visited me a few months ago and talked about some new fangled liquid foundation you can find at The Body Shop. I didn’t pay much attention but while I was there, I got a bit of a makeover and found that I really liked the foundation and the lipsticks. Awesome!
Still loving this location after all this time!

I encountered the most unprofessional service here. This will be my first and last visit to this store.
There was one store clerk when I came in, and she was busy chatting with her two friends who came to visit as «customers.» They were talking very loudly in Mandarin, and did not even acknowledge me when I entered the store. That was fine with me since I hate overly pushy or pretentious sales associates who follow me around anyway.
They went on talking while I quietly browsed the face products section. About 20 minutes later, the store clerk realized she should probably engage with the customer in some way so she came up to me to ask if I needed help. I asked her what the main difference between the tea tree and the new vitamin E face wipes are. She then took a pack and started reading through the ingredients, which took up to three minutes or 180 awkward, silent seconds; I’m not sure what she did that for because she just ended up saying «the Vitamin E wipes are very gentle and the tea tree is more effective for removing impurities.» Basically, she just told me the most BASIC description written in the FRONT of the packs. Could she be any more uninformed about the products?! I don’t even work for Body Shop and yet I have a better knowledge of their products!
Then I asked her which of the new face creams were paraben-​free, and she had to read through the ingredients of each one. It got too painful for me so I just got my Rainforest Balance shampoos and paid.
When I walked out of the store, I noticed that there was actually a «3 for $ 30» sign which is usually displayed in the middle of the entrance, but was in the corner of this store facing the side. I guess it was my fault that I had walked past this, but the way it was set up shows that this promotion was clearly hidden. I’ve seen other Body Shop stores put up promotions like this smack in the middle of their store entrance or even blow the posters up to cover the windows. What pissed me off was how the store clerk was so busy gossiping with her friends that she never mentioned this promotion to me. Other Body Shop SAs have always reminded me of their promotions. I guess I’m mad that I spent $ 40 on two bottles when I could have gotten 3 bottles for just $ 30! ARGH!

I have always had a good experience at this location: the staff I’ve met are friendly and helpful, and the store is never overcrowded. The reason I started shopping at The Body Shop was because they have an AMAZING Coconut Shower Cream, which I just love. I continue shopping there because I love the values they have in regards to sourcing their products! Winning combo.

The store as a whole, I’ll give it four stars. Only because depending on the staff thats working that day, you either get wonderful customer service or okay customer service.
However I went there today, late afternoon/​evening and the girl who worked there was so awesome that I had to write a review! I believe her name is Carena, I’m not quite certain which bums me that I can’t remember but I know it starts with a C. I love how sensible she was when I was asking about their products. She didn’t try to push me toward the more expensive products, she allowed me to browse freely and there was no pressure which is always a plus in my book. I was looking at their Peach line as I was planning to get a gift for my friend. I had purchased the Peach Body Scrub and wondered what would be a good pair with it — the peach shower gel, peach lotion, or peach body butter. Usually in retail, staff would recommend the highest priced products or purchase the whole set to bring out the full scent of the product and have it longer lasting but she didn’t and told me the shower gel (the cheapest item on the line, might I add) would be a good pair with it.
This was the second time I’ve seen her in the shop. I remembered she was great the first time I saw her that I thought I should mention it. Last time I didn’t even purchased anything and simply went to get samples since I have purchased some of their products online beforehand and wanted to sample them before I got them in the mail. I asked for like 5 samples, she was very friendly and helpful. Usually I feel bad about getting lots of samples without making purchases but she didn’t make me feel that way, which I think is wonderful. I also remember asking her about whether you need exfoliating gloves for the body scrubs since the previous time I went, another sales lady told me that you need it when she was trying to sell me their products. Carena told me the body scrub works well on its own when you apply by hand. Very practical/​sensible.
For Carena’s service alone, I would give the location 5 stars but when averaged with the rest of the staff, I had to take a star off.

Personally, I did not get a good experience in this store. My friend and I just wanted to drop in to buy something and we had the worst customer service EVER. I honestly think that the man serving us have a SERIOUS attitude problem and obviously hates his job.
First, my friend found a great product but we did not know the price. As the salesman was the only person working, we obviously went and ask him if he knew how much the product cost. He gave a face and shrugged his shoulders: «I don’t know» and just left it at that. At this time, my friend obviously gave a ‘what?’ face – I mean come on is that ALL you are going to do as a salesperson to seal a deal for a potential customer?
He eventually proceeded to bring us to the cashier counter and checked the price of the product. All the while carrying this «I hate my job» attitude. I decided to pay for the product at this time while my friend went to other parts of the store to check out other products.
The salesman was so horrible at conducting the sale – he slammed my product down after scanning it, took my credit card from me + swipe it then slam it back down on the counter. He then proceeded to look over to the side of the store where my friend was and asked: «what is she doing there?» in a very condescending tone.
At this time, I just wanted to get my product and leave. I personally do regret doing that because this salesman deserve a big wake-​up call. If anyone would like crappy customer service while shopping you should definitely come to this shop because they will just blow your mind by how horrible their service is.
Never ever buying things here again.
