Attended their valentines day show– hilarious and fun. Burlesque with humor, artistry and one«boy-lesque» performer that plays delightfully with gender roles.

These girls will rock your world! Enough said! This is true old time burlesque done right and done well. Just got done seeing the most recent Valentine Show at the Triple Door. An all around excellent show. I would have loved it all the more, if it was not for the barely 21 partner swapping couples in front of us. It was not the swapping that bothered me, that I found entertaining… it was how loud, drunk and over the top they were about it. Kind of like they were trying to get everyones attention and working really hard at this whole«look at how cool we are» thing. I knew I was doomed from the minute they sat next to us at the MusicAquarium bar and kept bumping into me whilst they groped one another. Just my luck that when we got our seats… they were dead on in front of us! My old man is laughing 6 feet under! This show was so good that none of this mattered! If you have a chance to see these girls in action — take it! And don’t forget to buy some pasties from the girls in back!

My husband and I went to see these ladies for our wedding annv. It was a lot of fun. The theater was a good ways away from downtown. The girls were all very pretty and you could tell they were having fun. The theater was packed with couple, large groups of friends etc… The drinks kept coming at a steady pace. I can’t complain about the show at all. One downside is that you are far away from downtown and getting a cab is impossible on a Saturday night. We took the bus back to the hotel though. The #7. I think it cost us a total of 3 bucks to get back… Super cheap and I was surprised to see that the bus was clean and not too scary!

An incredible experience and well-done revival of burlesque. I love that sexuality has taken on a new mainstream twist of acceptability and that these style of shows are cropping up all over the country. It also pleases me that shows like this can hold sold out performances all over the country. I was so excited when I moved to Seattle to hear that the cabaret scene was alive and well. And one of the top groups I heard of was The Atomic Bombshells. The only problem was that they were off traveling the country and I kept missing their shows in Seattle. I finally got to see them with a group of friends and was most impressed. First off, they have a gorgeous group of women with a variety of body types and charms. They take their time on beautiful costumes and very entertaining routines. You can tell some of them are professionally trained and talented. And those that don’t excel as well in traditional dance make up for it with va-va-va-voom. While they may not rank up there with the world famous cabarets, like the Crazy Horse or Moulin Rouge, they do stay honest to their craft with campy acts and some seriously talented tassel twirling. I would highly suggest them for a romantic night out, a fun time with friends, or a perfect stress release for a hard week. So cool that they hang around to talk afterwards and even came over to thank us for showing up. Classy ladies.
