I used to work with them. Today, I went to re-​enlist or what not. I was late because they had moved offices, and got lost because of the Belltown construction. And it was hot outside and 82 degrees. I went to Starbucks to grab a iced coffee. Oh, I was walking by the way. In the heat.
I called to get directions. The woman who answered the phone was a bit curt. By the time I got there, she told me that I they needed to re-​schedule the appointment. It really makes me mad, because I spent a train ride and good interview clothes coming downtown for basically nothing.
So, pretty sure I’m already on their «black list» anyways.

Had one position through this agency and when I was released from the position I left behind belongings, which I was told they would retrieve and return to me. It has been 2 months and I have been contacting them once a week to find out where my belongings are– Still nothing. Not to mention I had to work in harsh conditions at the position I was in, and when I tried to tell them about it they flat out ignored me and then later told me I should have said something. Hey– Guess what? I did try to say something. Contemplating a lawsuit, so many reasons for one.

Richard Gilmore from Gilmore Girls would be absolutely appalled by the treatment I received. Just down right unprofessional and the lack of awareness for other people’s time. Gee golly! It’s hard enough to trust staffing agencies — like what do they even do. So be prepared to spend a lot of time there and then you’ll never hear back from them. That’s pretty standard.

Time here no good. People no good. Why you be so unkind to nice person. Nice person want job and you no want to help. But you staffing agency why you no help me get staffed? No make sense! Why you call me in to meet me but you say I no qualify. I send you my information in advance, why you no review before I travel from far away. You say you no want to help because of my I no working. You staffing agency, you find me work, okay?

I sent my resume to Terra Staffing Group after seeing a post on Craigslist and they called me right away to schedule an appointment. Meeting Emily was the best thing to happen to me during my short term stay in Seattle.
I had reached out to other agencies prior to Terra and the recruiters at those other companies did not want to help me since I could not guarantee if I was staying in Seattle permanently or not. I could not determine if I could live in Seattle if I could not afford to so it made no sense to me that a «temp» agency could not get me something «temp» in the meantime.
Emily was different! She was understanding with my situation and got me a job right away. It was supposed to be only one day trial but I was able to get hired on during the rest of my stay in Seattle.
Communication with Emily and other office staff at Terra was always easy for check ins and pay. I would definitely recommend Terra Staffing Group to anyone seeking employment or looking to hire.

Terra’s staff really took the time to get to know me and place me in various temporary gigs, where I used both my existing skills and gained some new ones too. Their staff is very competent, friendly, and warm; they’re willing to go out of their way to get you employed. Just yesterday I received a phone call from the company’s chairman thanking me for the work I’ve done through Terra. A simple thank you and phone call go a long way – and this shows that the company culture is one based on professional relationships and results.

I also had a bad experience with this staffing agency. There are other temp agencies in Seattle that are more highly reviewed.
I can’t recommend working with this location if Autumn Smith still works here — beware.
The «best fit» she could find me was a job that was not commensurate with my education or previous work experience. I took the job anyway.
When I found a more suitable job for myself and informed the staffing agent, Autumn, she became very unprofessional, and wouldn’t return emails or phone calls in a timely manner — to me or even to supervisors who reached out to her on several occasions.
She’s young, and it came across as immature and blatantly unprofessional. Their most redeeming attribute is the professionalism of their front-​desk staff, Frances.
Otherwise, this rating was likely to only have 1 star.

u all knw im unemployed and was jst looking for a job so gave it a try. receptnst was friendly vn office .had a quick interview and felt good about it we will see wht comes of it haha. anyways i recmd terra staffing if yr looking for 15 – 25 hrs per week office work or light industrial i thnk they have 5 locations in wash.

This office handled my sons summer job very unprofessionally.
They not only took 4 weeks to even pay him, but they promised him a temp job, and then the job was not available. He did end up working, for 10 hours a week, but since my son had given up another job, because the first job was given to him, it was very disappointing. I would not suggest anyone look with this agency, because I think that they treated my son horrible and they would do it again.

I am a college student with no «real person» work experience. I have never worked retail and don’t have much food service experience, so when it came time for me to get a summer job, I was scrambling.
Terra was able to find me some administrative and office assistant positions that helped me get through the summer AND gave me some great new things to put on my resume. They really care about their employees and provide a great work environment!

I love these people. They are very professional and seem to care about getting you into a temp or permanent position. I felt like any effort I put into the job search, they would reciprocate.
They set me up for interviews for a few permanent positions that were above my salary expectations. If the client passed, my Terra rep got back to me with honest feedback so I knew where the client and I didn’t match up.
They also put me on temporary assignments that paid pretty well. They seemed to recognize when I put in extra effort or if I did good work and used that to place me with good clients. I was very happy with them and would call them in a heartbeat if I ever found myself unemployed.

I almost got a job through this employment agency, but in the end went with a job I found myself. They didn’t do a thing wrong, and in fact did a lot of things right. Geniunely nice people who made it a priority to make sure companies I interviewed with would be a fit and were even willing to send me out for jobs that were just a bit above what I was doing. Accounting, admin, management & sales type of jobs are what they specialize in and employers pay the fee to hire you. If it weren’t for the fact the company I wanted to work for had such a long hiring process and I couldn’t wait around, Terra would have gotten the commission. I’d recommend this company to anyone looking for a job.
