Description

Specialties

Tell a Story Studio is all about you and your moments.

I want to tell the stories of your life. Whether that be graduating high school, becoming a spouse, having a child or just being with the people you love.

Though I hate to play favorites it is impossible to hide my wedding love.

Being a wedding photographer is like living a good romantic comedy every weekend. We are talking Meg Ryan in the 90’s, Mr. Darcy walking in the sunset, Bridget Jones «I love you just the way you are» moments every weekend.

Then we get to take these outpourings of love from really great people, edit through the blinking shots and find the moments that bring back exactly what the twinkle lighted first dance felt like and give it to you to keep forever.

For a sap like me that is pretty hard to top.

History

Established in 2012.

Tell A Story Studio began in 1925. (Well, sort of.)

In 1925 Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse. That lead to the wonderful world of Disney and to a job for me in 2011 at Walt Disney World as a Character Attendant.

I worked daily with Photographers who captured family moments for guests. I loved watching them work, particularly when it was with the Make-A-Wish families. While all memories matter, those ones felt particularly special.

When I moved back to Seattle I enrolled in the Art Institute to become a photographer so I that I might have a chance to preserve important memories for people like the photographers I had known in Florida.

I worked with several photographers and was on staff with J. Garner Studios before officially starting my own company in 2012 to pursue my own photography.

Meet the Business Owner

Audrey O.

Business Owner

I am the main photographer at Tell a Story Studios and I feel very blessed.

I like red wine, Elliot Erwitt, cheesy teenage drama tv (Dawson’s Creek I am looking at you), baking chocolate chip cookies, rainy Seattle beaches, popped collars, bad selfies, reading classic novels, and attempting to dance.

I love Audrey Hepburn, 1950’s musicals, Bacon Cheeseburgers, planning events, Big band music, Al Hirschfeld, learning, sunflowers, Nora Ephron, going to the airport, classic children’s book illustrations, and anything that makes me feel like Macgyver.

I can’t stand being told something can’t happen, unnecessary limitations on creativity, and doing laundry.
