History

Established in 2011.

This is Taylor Shellfish’s first «in land enterprise». Opened originally as a retail store in 2011, we quickly discovered that what folks were really looking for was a great local oyster bar were they could take in the delicious bounty of the Puget Sound.

We are more then happy to accommodate. :)

A Pacific Northwest native, I was raised in a family that did not miss an opportunity to partake in all the wonderful adventures that the northwest has to offer. From hiking and skiing in the Olympics to fly fishing in Eastern Washington and, of course, a whole lot of time spent on the Puget Sound. I’ve been crabbing, salmon and halibut fishing, clam digging and oyster gathering for as long as I can remember and Taylor Shellfish has help me turn my passion for all things seafood into a career, and it is my pleasure to share it with you.
