Tarah Jade, great style/good friends.
History
Established in 1985.
Tarah Jade evolved from «Shawna’s» a boutique which opened on tony El Paseo Avenue in Palm Desert, California 25 years ago. After having her daughter, Tarah Jade, Shawna Risnes moved her business to Old Town La Quinta and renamed it to honor her baby girl.
Last year, Shawna and her close friend Deborah Stone (who grew up in Seattle), hatched the idea for Tarah Jade in Seattle. In April they began hunting for a suitable location, and opened the doors of Tarah Jade in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge Neighborhood on June 26, 2010.
Tarah Jade Seattle is a collaboration of two good friends, with Deborah operating the Seattle store, and Shawna in La Quinta.
