One of the best haircuts I’ve ever received! Alicia is talented not just because she’s skilled but she really takes the time to listen and understand what you want… and then she repeats it just to be sure you’re both on the same page. She checks in with you as she’s cutting and also informs you of your own unique hair styling issues. For instance, I have thick hair, a widow’s peak, a cowlick etc. She even told me about why my hair does some weird things that even I didn’t know about! You don’t just get an education but you get exactly what you want with the skill and expertise of a truly talented stylist.

She is an absolute professional who takes great pride in her work, provides stellar customer service, is very willing to share her knowledge and offer customized hair maintenance advice. She is incredibly friendly, easy to talk to and takes the time to make sure your experience is perfect.

I’ve been seeing Alicia for years for cuts, color and the occasional pedicure (yes, she does those, too). My hair is very curly, frizzy, and does what it wants — a nightmare to cut. Alicia is able to read my waves and provide good shape to my mane. She offers sound advice on hair maintenance and can enlighten you on color trends (e.g., working your hair color with your complexion). Her space is bright and welcoming and REALLY really clean (something other salons sorely lack). It’s a relaxing place to be while getting top-​notch professional treatment and engaging in lively interaction with Alicia. She’s a lot of fun and a real pro. Call in advance — she’s popular.

Alicia is the most talented hair designer in Seattle! I’ve been getting great hair cuts, and occasional color from Alicia for years. Her advice and hair counseling are thoughtfully individualized for your particular hair and life style (she really listens). The products she uses are good for your hair and reasonably priced. Her studio is impecably clean and welcoming. I’m always greeted with the offer of drink choices and great conversation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else — she’s the best!

Alicia has been cutting my hair since the 1980s. I can’t say enough about how great she is. I tend to wait a little too long between cuts but all I have to say is «cut it off» and she always does a fabulous job. Her studio is thoughtfully designed, welcoming and a pleasure to be in. She is friendly, interested and fun to talk to as well as being so talented and accomplished and having a gift for making people look their best.
