There are TONS of 5-​star reviews on Tripadvisor, and there’s a reason why: this tour is the best. Easily one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Cool guide (Charity!) who was on the scene and in the town when lots of music history was made. She gives a great handout full of recommendations. It’s also a small-​group tour, which was really nice as well. Absolutely must do this tour if you’re interested in the Seattle music scene from the 90s.

Just went on this tour with my teenage son yesterday and it was exactly what I was hoping for! First off, Charity was very laid back and very knowledgeable. If you wanted to stop at a sight to get out it wasn’t a problem, she was taking pictures for me, and even gave us a ride back to the hotel after we were done because we had a little extra time! The tour itself is a perfect for fans of the Grunge years and even those who are not. Getting to go where these great bands started, played, and seeing Kurt Cobain’s home made this a perfect tour. I would definitely go on the tour again just because it was so interesting. Even my son who is just learning about these bands enjoyed it! Charity was awesome, nice and had a rock n roll edge! \m/

Charity is very friendly and really knows a lot about the music scene and musicians. Even if you aren’t a huge fan of the music, the tour is interesting and it’s a great way to see a lot of the city.

Charity does a great job on this tour. She drives you all over the Seattle area (including Jimi Hendrix’s memorial in Renton), and along with going to these sites, she stops so you can get out, look around and take photos. She has the facts about what went down at each site, its significance, and in between sites, as she drives she shares facts, history, her own personal stores (that you won’t hear anywhere else), antidotes…
If you are coming to Seattle and love «The Seattle Scene», GO ON THIS TOUR. Don’t rent a car to venture out of the city to sites not really that noteworthy, or to try to find all the sites on your own because you’ll waste a lot of money, and won’t even find half the sites that this van tour will take you on. The van is comfy (really plush), plus Charity is a very skilled driver, so you won’t have to worry about sitting in horrific Seattle traffic. If you try to go to these sites on your own, trust me, you’re going to get stuck in traffic.
She can also tailor your tour to specific sites at your request (for example all Hendrix, all Cobain, ect). And it is great for all ages, as long as they appreciate Seattle music. A must-​do for any Seattle trip if you love Seattle music — also makes a great gift (I’m from here, and didn’t know where even ¹⁄₃^rd of the sites were prior to the tour).
Some of the sites I saw included: All the «Singles» sites, Sub-​Pop offices, Jimi Hendrix memorial, Cobain house, Andrew Wood apartment, other residences & apartments, infamous bars & clubs, recording studios, and much more.
Also a great way to see the area.

This tour was AWESOME. Charity is so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about the Seattle music scene and pretty much everything Seattle. I would recommend this in a heartbeat to anyone who wants to spend the afternoon touring the city and its music history in a fun way. Also a lot of the tour stops were sights from the movie Singles which was another huge bonus for a big fan of the flick. Thanks Charity!!!

Just finished up our tour with Charity from Stalking Seattle. My family (me – plus two teenaged boys) were the only ones on the tour today. Loved every minute! Learned a ton about the music scene of Seattle. Laid back, informative and one-​of-​a-​kind tour.
