The bartender Seth was very resourceful on the drinks and food. Well done menu for a gastropub! I recommend this Thank you!

Fancy and delicious! We stopped in for a spur of the moment appetizer fix. We had: Salmon crostini — it was about $ 4 for two crostini’s. Not bad. The salmon was really fresh. Wild caught, from the look of it. Really good quality. In some creamy sauce, which was a bit too mayonnaise-y for my taste, but tasty all the same, on top of a yummy crostini. Pork belly sliders — yum yum. Again it was just the amount of mayo-like sauce that knocked my opinion down, but the quality of the food this place puts out is well above expectations. The pork belly was perfect and the buns were buttery goodness. Chicken liver pâté — creamy, flavorful and paired with thick potato chips and a few drops of a sweet jelly that tasted so good with the pâté. Cardamom dark chocolate ice cream — the aerated chocolate was the absolute best part. The ice cream tastes like what it sounds like… cardamom ice cream. Perfect for a small, light dessert, but not the indulgent ecstasy that brings the meal to an apex you want a dessert to be. All in all… it was really good. Just a notch bellow great that would merit us returning for dinner, but definitely worth trying. Great quality of ingredients though.

On our first night in Seattle, the wife and I had no clue where to go for dinner. We wanted to grab a somewhat early dinner, somewhere near the hotel, and of course somewhere good! We took to Unilocal and TripAdvisor and settled on Spur Gastropub in Yaletown, a short 15 – 20 minute walk from the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. We had no reservations but were sat immediately when we arrived at the restaurant. It was pretty empty when we arrived, granted it was still early. The layout is a little tight and seemingly split into 3 different zones. Our server was very friendly, knowledgable, patient and very helpful. Service was attentive, but not overly so, though as the night wore on and the restaurant became more crowded, service became a bit slower. This wasn’t because of our server, but more, it seems, due to understaffing. The menu is split into two different sections; seasonal and staples. Just as it sounds, seasonal items change with the seasons, while staples are always there. We had difficulty deciding, but our server was great with assisting us. He also recommended how to structure our meal so that the dishes wouldn’t clash and so that we could pace the meal properly. So what did we order? First up, the Sockeye Salmon Crostini($ 4/each) with mascarpone, capers, pickled shallots. According to our server, this is a menu item that’s been on the menu ever since they opened and continue to be one of their most popular options. Nicely toasted bread, mascarpone, olive oil, briny capers, greens and some of the best tasting salmon around. What’s not to love? Next up was the Rabbit Liver Pâté($ 17) with grape, honey, potato. Never had rabbit liver before, but this was delicious! The grapes and greens cut the richness, while the potato chips provided great contrast and the perfect«utensil.» Continuing on the organ theme, our next item was the Crispy Veal Sweetbreads($ 23) with sweet onion, tomato, and aromatic herbs. This was another first for us, and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The richness was nicely balanced by the amazing tomato sauce, cilantro and sweet onions filed with balsamic. Taking the richness up another notch, our final course was the Tagliatelle($ 17) with duck egg, oyster mushroom, pine nut. This was a very rich dish for sure, but was really tasty. Really started to develop a taste for duck eggs in the PNW. For dessert I decided to order the Ice Cream($ 8) with playful accompaniments. This was homemade ice cream(can’t remember the flavor) with a bunch of flavorful and nicely textured accompaniments that I can’t remember either… Main thing to know is that it was delicious! The wife, on the other hand, decided to order the Black Sesame. Balsamic. Apple($ 11) ice cream, sponge cake, tuile. It was another great dessert with lots of different flavors and textures. Spur was definitely a new experience for us, but a great one for sure. It’s definitely someplace we’ll return to whenever we’re in Seattle! Yes, it is a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it. We later found out that the ChefSteps crew likes this place a lot… in fact many of them used to work here! I’m not surprised really, as they’re such a talented group of people creating inventive, delicious food! Anyway, yes, I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting SEAtown.

You must try this place!!! This is our first time in here for dinner(second time overall) and I even more impressed this time. Although it is small plate, which seems to be vary come this day; all of the food is incredible and I seriously mean that! The staff is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable of their menu, which is a must in a place like this. Their drinks are equally impressive although a little on the small size. Ok the place is a bit on the expensive side, but I truly think it is worth it especially considering the quality of the food, service and drinks. Anyhow I will definitely be back and if you have not made your way in and tried them out then you really should. You wont be disappointed and probably become addicted to this place like me.

Honestly, this is my favorite place to eat dinner in Seattle. I’ve probably been here 6 – 10 times. They have amazing service, a quiet spot, and a small but always good wine list. Salmon Crustini, gnudi, and the burger with a duck egg are my favorite. It always mixes up its menu regularly and the food is always as beautiful as delicious. Do yourself a favor and always try their desert because I have yet to be disappointed.

Spur Gastropub is my new favorite gem to grub at and be happy about getting fat. I really enjoy the dark, intimate atmosphere(yea, I guess that’s a theme with me) and, with only a handful of tables, the space feels pretty ripe for a date night(or some unsexy friendly conversation… whichever you prefer). Spur can fill up quickly, especially on the weekends, but the tight seating plan keeps everything(noise, atmospheric qualities, crowding) under control. Unless there’s a table full of drunken, cackling women in the bar area(which has been known to happen from time to time, fortunately or unfortunately), the restaurant will remain relatively low key. There’s also always a silent large-image projector running, passively showing a slideshow or movie, reminiscent of all those Cosmo art bars of my misspent youth. Well, I’m here to say I’ve graduated up… And I’m certainly glad Spur is here for my transition into adulthood! The food here is utterly divine and well thought out, a good balance of presentation and ingredients(form and function, for you design geeks). Like the tables, the dishes are limited and therefore well cared for. I was particularly impressed with the tagliatelle(also a theme with me), complete with mushrooms, egg and a spritely dash of spring onion. This dish could be bland and tired, but at Spur Gastropub, the food is anything but… And the noodles have plenty of fresh flavor to swim in. As other reviewers have mentioned, I also enjoy their salmon crostini. It’s got the right proportions of flavors and textures and tastes pretty damn good, with the crème fraîche being the star(you can tell it’s house made… and the salmon is not remotely«dead fishy» in taste). I don’t feel that I have much else original to add to the legend of the salmon crostini, unfortunately… It’s excellent and I can only second the notions of other reviewers. Just order it and see for yourself. Finally, the service is fabulous. The tables may be tight, but the servers make due and all are laid back, fast and friendly. All in all, my main complaint would be that I always want more. More food, more meal time, more Spur-like restaurants in the world. Hats off to this place, those are my two cents!

This place is insane! I got a pisco cocktail called Sleeping in Flowers which was a perfect starter with the smoked salmon crostini and pâté plate. The duck liver pâté plate was was very creative, spread on sweet potato chips with sliced grapes and an excellent sweet garnish sauce, perfect combination of sweet and savory that really brought out the flavor of the pâté. After all that we got the screams blue cheese sample plate which was pretty delicious, but standard. Not nearly as inventive as the two precious dishes. For our main we split a burger slathered with delicious onion jam and creamy cheese, the brioche bun was the cherry on top of the perfectly cooked burger. I demolished this, but could only eat a half because it was so rich. The show string fries were also a nice addition! Desert was underwhelming. I got the Asian pear sorbet with a flavored dust that was alright, but it would have been better if the combo had been a little more flavorful, both the dust and sorbet were very mild, though the texture was interesting and nice. Service was great, when they accidentally pored us the wrong beer they gave us the correct one for free.

I have been here several times. The food is amazing and the staff is great. They actually care about the flow of the meal. There was only one instance where they were completely packed and service was slower than usual but they offered our table 2 free desserts. They do an excellent tasting menu that you can choose to add on the craft cocktail pairings(I highly recommend). Some of my favorites are: salmon crostini, the chicken, egg plant three ways, pork cheeks & the fries.

One of the best cocktail programs and some of the cities best small bites. Stunners include the pork belly slider, sous vide salmon crostini, and any special involving pasta. Great spot for you, your special someone, and 2 – 4 of your most adventurous foodie friends! Cobble together a meal from the small plates and trust the geniuses behind the bar to craft a perfect cocktail accompaniment.

Fabulous cocktails and delicious food. Great for special occasions for happy hour drinks with friends. Next to a noisy night club, but the interior is intimate and cozy.

I am late in giving this place a rating. Upon my visit to Seattle I found this place via Unilocal of course and was not disappointed. The salmon crustini was the best. If you’re ever in Belltown please stop by!

A few co-workers and I stopped in for a drink and snacks. The craft cocktail was great, the salmon crostini was to die for, and the chicken was great. We also ordered a kale salad that was not memorable, we didn’t even finish it. I do wish the menu had more options. Great place to stop for a craft cocktail and unbelievable crostini’s.

I loved spur from the second I saw the inside. This was such a cool spot. It was way more then just dinner, it was an experience! Our waiter had such a mellow vibe it was so refreshing. He went over the menu and definitely knew his stuff. It was perfect bc the menu is unique and because he walked us through it I ordered things I didn’t think I would and I’m SOHAPPY I did because they were all phenomenal. The presentation alone is flawless and gorgeous. The rock fritters were my favorite though ^.^ my family liked the salmon crostini(I’m just not a salon person). I have to say the service was a little slow but I didn’t mind at all since we were celebrating my moms birthday. If I was in a hurry it might have been annoying though. They also have a happy hour that is TODIEFOR. This place is a must try!

My husband took me to Spur for my birthday because I consider myself a foodie so of course Spur is where I wanted to go. We did the 5 course tasting menu to truly get the full experience and it did not disappoint on any level! It was clear the each and every bite that was served to us was completely thought out and designed to awaken different parts of the palate. Each dish was well spaced out so we could fully enjoy the entire exerience. I think that is what Spur does best. It creates a one of a kind experience. The only down side is how pricy it is. I guess we will need another special occation to find our way back to Spur.

Super rad place. Attentive service, good conversation for the solo traveler. Bartender nailed a freestyle cocktail, and the beer selection is darn ok. Not many taps, but quality ones for sure. Food was dead on. A win for sure.

Salmon crostini and the pork slider! Nuff said. The salmon is super fresh and the crostini was a great balance of flavors. The pork sliders were super tasty and I could have eaten loads of them. Service was great, drinks were tasty, and food was tasty as well. Will defo stop in again next time I’m in Seattle.

Probably one of the better experiences I’ve had in Seattle in my life. I came here for NYE dinner on a pre fixe menu and everything was delicious! My only gripe was that there were plenty of open seating for their dinner, but they chose to seat us at the counter and it was just a little bizarre for such an occasion because there was potential for table sharing. I guess I didn’t mind, it was still weird though. Their wine pairing is sort of intense, so don’t come here if you have to drive. Each of their wine pairing glasses is like 1.5 glasses of wine. For NYE they gave us champagne, so basically we had like a bottle of wine, or more, each! I guess it was great value the wines were pretty good and nothing lower shelf like you’d expect sometimes. I really was looking forward to the foie gras course. Being a California I am always excited to get foie gras everywhere I go. Sadly it was more of a mousse /terrane like everyone is doing nowadays. Boo. Overall I’d recommend it, cute little spot with great food!

Saturday date night. Free street parking after 8. Establishment gets filled and packed pretty easily, but bar will serve full menu. Darker/dim lit, ambience is good. Portions are smaller, so make sure to order more than one or two tapas dishes to fill up. We both started off with the salmon crostini: raw(?) salmon with a mascarpone spread and dab of olive oil. Then we split the pork belly sliders, Brie cheese is heavily noted, which I liked. Pork belly tasted smoked. DH ordered the hamburger, which comes with shoe string fries and homemade dips. I had the tagliatelle, which I was looking forward to all week. The tagliatelle was exactly what other Unilocalers said it would be, fun and yummy. Duck egg poached and tender noodles mixed with mushrooms. I highly recommend it. Restaurant servers were really nice, since I have been at their sister restaurant, Coterie room, before it didn’t surprise me on having good food and great service.

After bookmarking this place since the beginning of time, I finally got to try Spur last week! I love the atmosphere of this place and the flavors of some of the dishes we got. We ordered the beet and smoked sturgeon fish, brussel spout and roasted veggies, the burger and a chocolate coconut tamarind dessert. Everything was deliciously rich .esp the burger which a bit too greasy for me. The brussel sprout and carrot dishes were really good– flavored with high quality olive oil and the sturgeon was fresh and fun to eat with the mixed presentation of micro greens and beets! Only thing missing was the scallops… it wasn’t on the menu that night :(
