This place is amazing! I had the ‘Fresh’ salad with a thai soup. Can’t wait to head back to try a custom bowl! The options and selection of ingredients are top notch and the service was fast and friendly! Would highly recommend for those seeking a tasty, healthy lunch.

The salads/wraps here are amazing — healthy and delicious. The menu has some great offerings, really tastebud-pleasing combos of salad ingredients. It’s easy to customize your salad, or get it as a wrap. I usually split it to last two days, which makes it very reasonably priced. The cup of soup for just $ 2.50 more is a great deal when the superb tomato-coconut is available. It’s also a really nice space with a young crew who are unfailingly pleasant, and the sustainable philosophy is a big bonus. It’s the ideal lunch place among a sea of mediocre salad bars catering to the workday crowd.

This place is amazing and I’m surprised there are not more places like it. I believe I read that one is coming to SLU someday, which makes me… um…sprout(!!!) with joy! Ignoring that that makes no sense, trust me that this food is good. They throw everything but the kitchen sink of healthy greens and grains that you’d think it’d be overkill but it’s not. It tastes extremely fresh! I hear what one person is saying about the meat cubes but I didn’t mind it, maybe because I was expecting emphasis on the greens. I think the price is on par with most lunch options and completely worth it for something healthy. They also have like 8 tasty drinks, like punch/tea/lemonade combos. Very cool atmosphere too — modern industrial feel. If I lived by here I would be in once a week. Hopefully it comes to SLU!

Easily the best salads I’ve ever had. The staff is happy and helpful and the vibe of the place reflects that. I am a regular and will continue to be.

I’ve been to Sprout a handful of times and was always impressed, but today, I had something that blew. my. mind. THECOCONUTTOMATOSOUP! Top 2 tomato soups of my life. Coconutty, savory, sweet, thick and textured but not too chunky. OMG. That soup. I want to live in it. Oh, but the salads are good too! They’re not mind blowing like that soup, but I personally think they’re better than the salads at a similar nearby establishment. What I really love is that you can also get them as a wrap! I like the options. I like the ones with curried things. I like that the sweet potatoes are roasted pieces rather than a ball of mashed sweet potato(like the other establishment). I like the one with beets, although I think the truffle flavor is a little too rich and indulgent for a weekday work lunch. But then again, they also have froyo, which is indulgent for a weekday work lunch… but you know, #froyolo.

Love! I came here for a later lunch on Saturday and it was empty… so I wasn’t sure what to think. However, Sprout didn’t disappoint! Though prices seemed higher($ 10ish) for a quick, casual style(you watch them make your meal then pay at counter) lunch salad, it really was worth it! Portions are LARGE, as in I was starving and couldn’t even force myself to finish despite loving my salad. Every salad comes with a slice of bread too. I got the Puget Plum(salad of the month) and my husband got the South by Northwest. I enjoyed my salad more, but if I wasn’t comparing, both salads were good — flavorful and fresh! You can customize salads too(they actually ask you when you order) so your salad can be exactly how you want it. I had to pack my leftover salad, which I usually don’t bother to with salads since they get soggy, but because I had so much leftover and enjoyed it so much, I asked for a box. I know this is minor, but the to-go containers are awesome! Very durable and completely leak proof. My salad also surprisingly tasted just as good the day after — very impressive! I’d definitely recommend Sprout and would make an effort to come back here again for another super satisfying salad!

Ordered delivery from UberEats today. I haven’t been to the brick and mortar so I will be reviewing the salad. On a side note, the UberEats delivery took about 4 minutes from when I ordered, right to my office at about noon today. A couple of us ordered, and we both got the harvest salad. They had an option with chicken, but we both chose the salad without. The Harvest Salad came in a round plastic container, sealed tight. The lid fit well, so it could be sealed again if you wanted to save some for later. There were utensils(knife, fork and spoon), napkin and salt and pepper packets in the bag. The bowl was filled with spinach, golden and regular beets, shiitake mushrooms, goat cheese, carrots and a champagne vinaigrette. It also came with a bit of olive oil(not sure, I think it was, wasn’t interested in adding it.) The spinach was fresh, and crisp. Very good. The carrots, beets and mushrooms were roasted just how I like them. Not too soft, but still with a little bite. The goat cheese was subtle, not too overpowering. I used a little less than half of the vinaigrette, which was plenty for me. They give enough for those who like it slathered in dressing, but I prefer just a little to add flavor. The combination was delicious. I love beets, so I am probably a bit partial, but I really enjoyed the salad. I would definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a salad. The portion size was good. I finished it, but was satisfied with the amount of food. The bill came up to $ 10.41, including delivery, but in full disclosure, I used a $ 10 promo code for first time UberEats users, SEAEATS, so I only paid .41. The promo code expires in a couple days, so use it before Friday if you want to try it out. I’m looking forward to visiting the Pioneer Square location to try out the create your own salad option, and some of the other salads on the menu.

Yummy. Ordered the SW steak salad and it was so delicious. Full of delicious bites of steak and corn. Ordered online and went to pick up without any hassle. Nice side of wheat bread came with my order. I can see why everyone loves this place.

This place is AWESOME! So nice to have a salad restaurant with quick, friendly service and quality salads! The restaurant décor is really cute. They have an area where they’re growing their own sprouts. They are also environmentally conscious which I really like. Everything is either recyclable or compostable! Yay! They have a diverse menu with multiple meat/protein options. I normally don’t like to eat salads, but I really enjoyed these. I’ve tried the South by Northwest, the Greek to me, top Cobb. When I found out they were on UberEats I was so excited! The bowl is jammed packed with quality goodness! They don’t skimp you on quantity or quality.

Summary: Best salad option around these parts. Food: A focus on local, sustainable, healthy, etc but they don’t leave taste behind. They provide some sample options on the board but also allow you to build your own. Everything can be a salad or a wrap, both of which are large amount of food sure to fill you up with the goods. Service: Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Value: It’s a little pricier than some other options, though not by much, and you taste and see the higher quality. You also get a LOT of food. If you’re a light to mid eater, will probably be two servings. Location: Limited seating means you might have to wait a minute to get your seat but you’ll likely not need to wait long. Not a destination point if you’re driving but it’s very convenient to the pioneer square area and south downtown. The atmosphere inside is very nice and the décor is quite fitting, including the growing herbs and vegetation. Comments: Full disclosure, a friend co-owns the restaurant but I did my best to do an honest review.

This week, I hit the one month mark as a Seattle resident. It’s still a learning experience after living in Portland my entire life, but working in the wonderfully irreverent Smith Tower has made the transition a little easier on a girl who loves old buildings and city histories. After living five blocks from the glutton haven of Lardo, I was excited to try new things in Seattle, and Sprout is my new go-to lunch of choice. The salads are fresh, they’re filling, and you can be in and out in seconds **IF** you order online. It’s a little spendy, but for me the convenience makes up for it. There are few things more satisfying than skipping the massive lines, picking up my order, and heading back to my office and its mystifying elevators before the massive line ever moves. Pioneer Square is definitely the place for those accustomed to Portland’s many glutton-friendly options(and crackheads, but that’s another review), but if you’re looking for something a little lighter and an easy lunch option when you’re short on time, I’d recommend Sprout — and the ONLINEORDERING option — in a heartbeat.(Also, going to Sprout allows me to avoid the aggressive crackheads across the street, which is always a plus.)

Ordered the Hail Caesar as a wrap. I requested the dressing on the side and while my ticket had the note, I bit into my wrap to find it *soaked* in dressing. I couldn’t eat it because of this and had to give it to a co-worker.(Who, FWIW, thought the pea vines and bell peppers were a strange choice for a Caesar wrap.) I was really excited to try Sprout and I was super bummed to have ended up without a lunch today. *Sad trombone sound*

The line at Il Corvo was ridiculously long on Friday around 1pm so I decided to walk around the area and try a new spot. So then I found Sprout. Place was bright and clean, I decided to check it out. It has tons of healthy options. You can pretty much customize your order and the staffs were real friendly and helpful. I ordered ‘The Harvest’. I was sold on the white truffle oil — and it didn’t disappoint. I can definitely see myself coming back.

Super excited to have a salad bar type of lunch spot pop up! I tried Sweetgreen in Boston and fell in love with it and so glad Seattle has something like it. Located in Pioneer Square and open from 10 – 6 M-Sat. There are about 10 salads that you can choose from or you can make your own. They have a pretty good selection of fresh ingredients. Starts at $ 6.50 which includes greens/quinoa + 4 veggie and nut toppings. I added an egg $ 1 and half an avocado $ 2. It was a perfect sized salad. Big enough and very tasty! Lime cilantro dressing was yummy too. I also got the black lychee iced tea. Good stuff too. Would totally come more often if I was around!

I think this place’s concept is really similar to evolution. But I think their system works better because they’re faster. Also, the guy helping me today was very polite and helpful with helping me pick my greens. I went with the build your own salad option, and had the cilantro lime tomatillo dressing with kale and arugula. My friend had her coconut curry salad dressing. The portion size was pretty large as well. I’d recommend this place for a quick healthy lunch

My coworker and I had a meeting in Pioneer Square, and were happy to see this place next to the Smtih Tower. Sprout was so cute and inviting, and the interior was just as lovely. The menu had many pre-fixed options and you could also create your own salad. They also offered a variety of bold colored fruity drink options, which looked amazing. I was pleased to see they grow some of their own ingredients — so nice! I tried the chocolate frozen yogurt and it was tasty. I cannot wait to make a trip back here!

I have never been more excited to eat a salad. Exploring more Pioneer Square eateries, Sprout was next on the list. First indication of a good sign, the way their hours are listed; accompanied with frosted vinyl fruit stickers. I’m a sucker for anything aethetically pleasing. Second good sign: the ceiling to floor windows. Third good sign: the expansive counter of fresh ingredients. Fourth indicator, yes, a fourth one: Sprout doesn’t hide behind cover of bold colors splashed upon its walls. It’s minimalist and you can tell everything is clean against a blank, white backdrop. I ordered the Wild Roast. Since everything is made to order right before you, you can specify anything that you want or do not want. The moment I was won over was when the gal asked me if I wanted light, medium, or heavy dressing. I have options? The salad is massive, I do not know what I was thinking, trying to finish the gargantuan meal, enough to cover lunch and dinner in a satisfying manner. Kale and quinoa? I never thought the combo would work, but I am now a believer. The salad was tossed well, a hint of the dressing in every bite. Their music selection reflects my kind of taste, Passion Pit over the speakers? Yes. I am already anticipating my next meal.

This is the salad bar from heaven. I can’t say enough how much I love this place. The menu will please even the most skeptical of not-salad-bar lunch foodies. I loved their January Thai kale salad and when I came back the next month they were still happy to make it for me even though it’s not a menu staple. Yay! If you find something you like but want to swap an ingredient it’s completely cool with them. You can put your salad in a wrap if you’d rather not eat from a bowl which. The combos are endless. The staff is so nice and helpful. To top it off their containers and utensils are all enviro-friendly green materials.

I’m giving this 5 stars for salad. I don’t know what salad they gave me since the dude making my salad didn’t hear me very well. It pretty noisy here. Bad acoustics. Anyhow, everything was fresh and crispy. I don’t typically eat stuff with tofu except in Japanese soup. But whatever salad I had , it had a great curry dressing that was well suited with the brown rice, quinoa, that was tossed in with kale, lettuce, broccoli, and carrot. The tofu was pretty bland though. They should marinate it or something. I’m not docking stars for something I don’t like anyhow. This is Definitely a place I’ll come back to.

Sprout– think your grocery bought pre-packaged salad with better, fresher ingredients. As others, I was really excited to see this place open. The layout and design of the place are great. They will really refresh your busy work day with punches of lime green colors and smiling and friendly employees. I picked the Far East Salad with chicken. That chicken is what makes it only 3 stars for me. For pretty high price of $ 9.50 I would expect some really good quality freshly grilled chicken. What they have tastes exactly the same like chicken chunks found in pre-made salads at grocery stores. It has a rubbery texture and no taste. My coworker got the steak wrap, and I am guessing that he didn’t like the meat part in this as well, as he suggested we go some place else for lunch another time. The green part of their salad as fresh and more exciting. I appreciated the crunchiness of fresh peas and quality nuts. The vinaigrette type dressing was OK. I will be back, but I may just get tofu as my choice of protein. But the again– a $ 9.50 salad with tofu at market value of a $ 1 or less? Not so sure about that anymore.
