Meet the Manager

Terria C.

Manager

Terria has always had the passion to care for others. She began her career in the Health care industry working with the elderly. In the year 2000 she decided that she needed to spend more time with her three children and opened a child care center in her home. Her business out grew her home and three years later she opened a center in Tacoma. After finishing school, Terria wanted to teach so she excepted a position as a Preschool Teacher in June of 2012. After working as a Discovery Preschool Teacher for two months she was promoted to be the Center’s Program Manager. With her knowledge, skills and passion for education she was promoted eight months later as the Center Director here at Southtown. Terria is dedicated to making each child’s experience away from their loved ones full of fun, laughter, learning and love.
