Description

Specialties

Skillet is modern American food: approachable, upscale, prepared with classic technique, and using local and seasonal ingredients.

History

Established in 2012.

Skillet Counter is the latest addition to the family, once again providing great food prepared with care, technique and the best of ingredients, along with the innovative experience Skillet fans have come to expect. The menu offers signature Skillet items and a few new and exciting «counter» additions. Draft beer and keg wine are on tap, accompanied by tasty sweets to round things out.

The Counter was built with locally sourced materials including reclaimed wood from Port Townsend. Custom, one-of-kind details were developed by local carpenters to maintain the unique Skillet feel, while at the same time giving the Counter an identity all its own.

Skillet Counter is located at The Armory at The Seattle Center. Originally built in 1939, the old Armory Building housed the 146th Field Artillery and its half-ton tanks. For the 1962 Worlds Fair, the Armory was reconfigured into the first vertical shopping mall, called the Food Circus.
