Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

We manage several properties and apartment buildings, and use Parker paint on a regular basis. They’ve provided us with great service, and have always been extremely helpful. Often times we will call in an order a head of time, and they will always have it ready for pick up when we arrive, last night I called after business hours, and one of the staff there still picked up the phone, I thought he would tell me to call back tomorrow, but instead, he took my order. They have recommended the best colors to use in sheens, and have always been correct. Although, they don’t have many samples on display, they do have a large selection to choose from on books. Parker Paint is our go to supplier.

Every home owner that has painted our house for the past 20+ years has gone to Parker Paint — it made sense for us to do the same for our most recent projects. Unfortunately, I was truly disappointed.
The shop is pretty underwhelming, but I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from a paint store. The only person working there at the time seemed pretty knowledgeable and helpful at first (when he pointed out that he could easily match an old paint color using the formula conveniently written on the lid). But then he didn’t know some basic answers to our questions… such as: «is the primer supposed to be thinner/​more watery than the paint?» and «how much is the primer you carry?». So I was a little worried about the paint working out as planned.
And rightfully so. Despite having his formula for the color right there on the lid, the color he mixed was way off! Unfortunately, we gave him the benefit of the doubt and painted an entire wall with the hopes that it would match up when it dried… but no such luck. So now we’re stuck having to do redo this project completely with the holidays coming up and family staying with us. Ugh…
