History
Established in 2008.
Shaklee & Oliver, PS was founded by three hardworking attorneys who wanted to make a difference in the lives of immigrants. They loved practicing law, had experience with multiple languages and cultures, and realized they could best put those skills to use by dedicating themselves exclusively to immigration law.
The firm began with a single office in Kennewick, WA, and today is a multi-office operation with a skilled team of attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff providing superior counsel and support to clients across the United States and around the globe.
Meet the Business Owner
Andrew O.
Business Owner
Andrew («Andy») Oliver is a native of the State of Washington and the managing attorney for our firm’s Seattle Office. He earned his law degree from the prestigious George Washington University School of Law in Washington, DC, and therefore received his training in the shadow of the White House and major agencies of U.S. government. Andy brought this experience home with him and has been practicing immigration law in Seattle since 2007.
Andy loves working in immigration law – not only because it gives him the opportunity to serve people in need, but also because he has a deep appreciation for languages and cultures. In his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, Andy studied linguistics, Asian languages, and literature. He has studied Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, and Arabic. He loves to travel, and has spent time in India, Guatemala, and several countries in Europe. Andy lives with his wife, Alissa, and cats Premdas and Mouse in Seattle.
