I have only had delivery from Sezoni’s. I always order through their website which I find easy to navigate and never had any problems. They have called me on occasion to make sure they understood my order or to say they didnt have one of the items(the berry cheesecake) Delivery is timely and food is hot. I’ve had their Meatball sub, Gyro, Fettuccine Al Forno with Meatballs, Mediterranean pizza, Fettuccine Carbonara, Gusto Tortellini, Hummus Plate, Spanakopita & Tiropita, Mozzarella Sticks, Cheesecake and Feta Bread. I would give a heads up if you order any of the pastas with an Alfredo/cream sauce… it is very creamy and has lots of butter. Its very tasty but somewhat overwhelming sometimes. The mozzarella sticks are just okay; the cheesecake tastes like any other good grocery store cheesecake. I did really enjoy the feta bread and spanakopita & tiropita. This used to be a place I ordered from twice a month when I first moved to Lower Queen Anne. Lately however, I’ve been trying to eat healthier and have not been ordering from them.

You know, it’s pretty difficult to seriously consider going one star on these guys. They obviously want to be serious. For a pizza place, the menu looks really ambitious. The dining room is beautifully laid out. They have a lot happening here to recommend them, at least in terms of their potential. But we came in here(admittedly, just for refreshments and possible snacks, but they didn’t know that) yesterday and waited more than ten minutes for a table visit. There was only one other table in the place. Yeah, they were getting ready for the dinner rush, and didn’t appear to have anybody else up front to help. But we had eight arms waving in the air trying to order lemonade and iced tea and never got a reaction from the counter, though she was standing right there the entire time. I’m ridiculously over-patient at times with table visits, and I’m certainly realistic about catching people during periods of peak side work. Sometimes ya just gotta hang out. But 10+ minutes to even say hello is just too long.

I’ve liked this place for years, even in their previous incarnation as Vincenzos further down QA Ave(same exact menu). I’ve never eaten in the restaurant itself, only ordered for delivery for lunch or dinner. I’ve tried most things on their menu, and everything is pretty good provided you like saucy, creamy, cheesy stuff. I do. So nom. Never any problems with delivery. One time a couple years ago they brought me the wrong salad dressing for the salad – they came back to deliver me the right kind, which was really nice.

I’m not sure how to rate this, because I was positively starving when my food arrived because I waited so long to get around to ordering. When I’m starving, I’m biased. ha ha! Anyhow, I had an order for delivery. It was on time and the order was correct. The driver was friendly and the gentleman on the phone when I called with a question was friendly. I ordered online. I would give this experience 4 or 5 stars. Dessert– Trufflicious cake. Holy cow. Phenonmenal! Get this! It’s moist cake with white chocolate mousse layer and milk chocolate mouse layer. Yummo! 5 stars Side salad– Average lettuce, cheese some olives, piece each of cucumber and tomato, Italian dressing. I’d give it a 3. Spaghetti and meatballs. Had meat sauce. It was extra for the meatballs. This was also average in quality. The pasta was a bit overcooked. The sauce was nice. The meatballs were just ok. The portion was quite large. I could only eat 1⁄3rd of it. I would give this a 3.

My first warning should have been that Margherita was misspelled on the menu. That’s usually the pie I go for first to gauge pizza competency. I’m not really sure what these guys are going for with this place. Terrible 80s light pop(Little Mermaid soundtrack, seriously?) and the décor that you’d expect to find at some mid-priced hotel that you have to stay in while waiting for your connecting flight the next day. The salad was a boring mishmash of iceberg lettuce with a scant tossing of cheese cubes. The veggie calzone that we ordered in addition to our pizza was OK and impressive in size but certainly no replacement for the fine work of the sadly departed Pete’s just a few blocks away. The Margarita [sic] pizza was a step up from Pagliacci fare but only because of the chewy crust. The chew of the crust made it sturdy enough to support the spiced sauce but it was totally overpowered by a bland cheese and burnt flecks of basil on the upper deck. It’s obvious that the money for this place went into lame décor and ambiance and not the menu or the preparation of some quality food. Overall, it was a forgettable experience served by a waiter who seemed to be about as enthused to be there as I was when he would bother to come by. There’s nothing interesting about this place and I don’t think that Tribunali or Elliot Bay has anything to worry about. There are much better options on and around QA so I’d recommend giving this one a pass.

Pagliacci is not good pizza, period. I’ll never understand why it’s all over Seattle, and why anyone thinks that it’s good. I like what you would call, I guess more of a «Greek» style pizza, and that was what I found at Sezoni. No super thin by default, cardboard tasting pizza, but fresh chopped veggies and meats in chunks all over my pizza slices. This is GOOD pizza! Website has coupons, which lured me in and will keep me coming back since most other restaurants in Queen Anne are too expensive. HIGHLY Recommend the Italian Seasoned Chicken Wings with Ranch. + Great toppings on Pizza! + Pizza slices fill you up! + Friendly service + Italian Chicken Wings are amazing! + Nice filtered water(hey, it’s rare at some places) Definitely my new go-to place for any pizza in Seattle!

We had two vegetarian pasta dishes(the eggplant parm and the gusto tortellini), and both were fine. Good for a night out when you don’t want to cook but you also don’t want to dress up or wait for a table. I really liked their herby garlic bread. The place is very kid-friendly(so, a plus if you have some, but possibly a minus if you don’t). Our server was impeccably friendly, and we had checked their website for coupons, so our second pasta dish was ½ off. A solid 3*. Take your kids, not your foodie friends.

Service has always been great. We’ve dined in, they have a very nice area for families with children. We have dined without our son as well and the atmosphere was equally enjoyable. We’ve tried the Feta bread: Excellent! House dressing is good, as is their Greek salad. Pizza is excellent, we’ve had it delivered and it was hot when it arrived early. Overall, excellent QA dining and delivery!

This place is spacious and pretty nice, you can get wine and dessert too, but for eleven bucks for JUST fettucini I could make better at home, I’d skip this joint. Head down to Elliott Bay Pizza or Pasta Bella. The server was very attentive and super nice though.

I have dined in and ordered delivery from Sezoni several times, usually ordering a pizza or calzone. I must say this is my favorite pizza place on Upper Queen Anne. Some people like Via Tribunali, but I like reasonably priced pizza with toppings… and Sezoni delivers(literally and figuratively). Some reviewers compare the pizza to frozen store bought pizza. Believe me, I’ve had plenty of store bought pizza, and Sezoni is much better. The restaurant is normally devoid of patrons, but don’t let that scare you away. Even my self-proclaimed«foodie» girlfriend(who likes Via Trib by the way) likes to eat at Sezoni whenever I get a hankerin’ for pizza with toppings. I almost forgot to mention the lunch special. You can get pasta or a mini pizza with a salad for less than $ 10.

Oh lawd, this place was awful. Salad was a joke and the pizza was straight Dominos but… hotter because it wasn’t delivered. One spatula. If that.

I may as well have ordered delivery from an elementary school cafeteria; the food tasted like it was school lunch. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and added meatballs. The sauce was flavorless paste and the meatballs were dried-out beef mini-balls. You get a soup or salad when you order pasta, and I opted for the Caesar… also flavorless. I hardly ate any of it. I also ordered the hummus and an order of tiramisu. The hummus was okay, but they forgot the tiramisu… despite charging me for it. I would have called to inform them, but I figured: A) If they sent it to me, it wouldn’t taste good anyway. Or, B) If they gave me a $ 5 credit for my next order, I’d never use it, because I will not be ordering from there again. Sooooo…I am still on the hunt for decent pizza/Italian delivery in Queen Anne. Suggestions?

I posted an initial review of this restaurant in 2009, regarding a bad experience my family had at Sezoni when they offered brunch. I updated the review after having a second less-than-great dining experience at Sezoni, when we went for pizza. An affiliate of the restaurant emailed me to complain that they didn’t offer brunch and my review was intended to damage their business. After receiving her email, I deleted my two prior reviews and wrote a new review to make it clear that I’d tried the restaurant TWICE and haven’t been thrilled with either the service or the food. After two comments from her on my review and a second email from her demanding clarity(that they DID serve brunch but don’t anymore), I’m adding yet another review. This Sezoni affiliate would like everybody to know that they NOLONGEROFFERBRUNCH. And thank goodness, because it wasn’t good. She would like me to make it very clear that my husband and I had brunch at Sezoni at least 2 months ago. Their website hasn’t been updated, so it still reflects brunch is served. They don’t serve brunch! Don’t try to eat brunch there! Flash forward — 2010: I decided to give Sezoni a second chance recently, for pizza. It was no better than something I could buy at the grocery store and pop into the oven myself. So, eh. I’ll reiterate that I WISH I loved every single Queen Anne business. I highly recommend the food and service at Olympia Pizza and Pasta, across the street from Sezoni. I also like Betty(on the same street) and many, many other restaurants here in Queen Anne(where I have lived for a very long time, and where I eat out often and regularly). With so many options, I recommend skipping Sezoni. If only because posting a review has become time-consuming and I would’ve much rather eaten elsewhere both times.

The best thing they have going for them is that Via Tribunali doesn’t open until 5pm, so if you want pizza at 4pm you have to go here to stay within a couple blocks. Four customers in the large restaurant and it took ten minutes to get drinks, maybe forty for food. The pizza was okay(chef’s special) but we both remarked on how it reminded us of something we’d had… what is it? Oh! DiGiorno. Good, but not $ 18 good. Way too much dressing on the Caesar. Décor is straight out of a mass furniture store(Hobby Lobby-ish) — no character. Finishing on a good note, they have a fireplace.

I should have known better than to try this place out since I have never seen it busy. Despite it being a trendy gourmet pizzeria, it doesn’t belong along side any of Queen Anne’s fabulous restaurants that give you ambiance and top rated food. Chicken Marsala Pasta was horrifying. The alfredo-marsala wine sauce was like eating liquid sugar with the consistency of yogurt. Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine which is supposedly the most popular item on the menu was edible, but the sauce was very clumpy and powdery. With the pizza, I would have been happier going to safeway and buying a Tostino’s and baking it myself.

Not a bad place overall, but a bit suspicious that there were only 2 other people there on a Saturday night when everything else was packed. Its a straight forward, trendy, gourmet pizza place. Food is decent, salad better than the pizza and the service was good. We got a salad, pizza and a pitcher of beer and checked out around $ 45 without tip. If it was $ 30, the place would be rated much higher. but you can go across the street to Olympia and get a better pizza for a bit cheaper.

Sezoni is the renamed, relocated Vincenzos from down the street. the new location looks great, service is friendly, prices decent. They surprisingly offer some nice beers on tap. The food however is just OK. They offer some odd, non traditional preparations of Italian dishes. I think they should hire a consultant to revamp their recipes. If you go stick to a traditional pizza of some sort and don’t expect anything extraordinary.

Solid, uncomplicated pizza/pasta/calzone spot on top of Queen Anne, with decent prices and surprisingly decent wine. Little sis and I decided to check out this relatively new restaurant, in the interest of exploration. The space inside is your typical downscale modern décor, with some candles and a mélange of booths and tables. A couple of nice touches I noticed: one huge couch and coffee table near the bar area, presumably for relaxing while you wait for take-out; a somewhat separate, partially walled-off area, which was occupied by a few families and their lively kids. And the food? The salad menu was diverse(twelve different varieties); we tried a Tri-Color Caprese with an interesting addition of avocado to the familiar fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil vinaigrette. There were a couple of other choices, like the Crispy Avocado and the Tropical Spinach, that I’d love to return and try. For pizza, we ordered the Prosciutto Special, topped with prosciutto, mushrooms, gorgonzola, and fresh basil. Although it was much smaller, far less greasy, and had a much higher herb-and-spice quotient, the pizza reminded me of New York style in that you could fold it in half to eat it. Were it not for the huge, rich, perfectly salty slices of prosciutto covering the pie, however… For true pizza, Via Tribunali is impossible to beat(on an «on» night for them, which is another story). But for prices, menu selection, relaxed(and family-friendly) atmosphere with a varied selection of food and wine, Sezoni will be a great option, and a good addition to the tiny Queen Anne pizza scene.

It’s too bad this place just opened and it’s already kind of being overlooked. It kind of has all the standards, but then it also has some surprises too that I discovered. On the weekend I had been looking around the neighborhood of Queen Anne for something to eat for a late breakfast. I’ve already done the 5-spot thing to death, but I noticed taht Sezoni served a brunch menu. Verdict: Surprisingly Great! It’s simple, the menu is short, the portion was just right. I might find myself coming back for weekend brunch on a regular basis.
