So grateful to have found Michael the Dapper Barber at Sergio’s thanks to everyone spreading the word. The perfect location and above all the meticulous skills to consult on and deliver a cut and style I have wanted for such a long time now. Super easy scheduling, friendly unobtrusive vibe in the shop, great value, a genuine treat all around. Treat yourself!

I followed Michael «the dapper barber» down to this shop after he left his old one. Michael has been cutting my hair for almost 3 years now and he is a master. He takes the time to get your hair exactly right. His attention to detail is unrivaled, and he’s an awesome guy as well. If you want to see examples of his work, look him up on Facebook or Instagram. As long as Michael is in Seattle, he’s the only one cutting my hair!

After decades of haircuts by barbers who didn’t «get it» (a classic 1930’s style) or were just plain indifferent, finally Michael the Dapper Berber has rescued me from haircut oblivion.
He does a great trim, fade, and finishes up with a straight razor on the neck hair. He’s a real detail guy and takes the time to get it right; he doesn’t rush. The only thing missing would be the ash on my shoulder of the Lucky Strike dangling from the lip of Sam, my first barber in the 1950’s.

I started coming here because my barber of over a year took up the second chair here. So I’ll give a review of Mike «the Dapper Man» barber.
Mike knows his craft, and he knows it well. Because of this his regulars including me followed him over here.
He takes his time, he really does his best to get an understanding of what you are looking for, but he also isn’t afraid to give you suggestions. He knows almost any modern or classic man styles, he’s old school, prefers giving you a straight razor neck line.
Honestly, I have Asian hair, and there is a lot of it… However unlike other barbers I’ve been too, he really takes his time. Sometimes it takes over an hour for my simple haircut; that just goes to show you his detail orientated approach to perfection.

Lucky me, by change walked by and Sergio had time to take me in. Why lucky, another barber destroyed my hair two weeks earlier, Sergio was able to fix it, to give me a hipster cut, just what I was asking — the look is now 20 years younger. Well, he should — after cutting some famous Seattle hair on his time, go and ask — heh!

This is the best barber in Seattle located in the heart of Pikes market. He recently moved within the market but his shop hasn’t lost any of its style. Sergio’s barber shop has an old school feel about it which I love and Sergio will keep you coming back as you build a friendship with him. He’s a great guy that will tell it like it is so don’t bring any nonsense in there or you’ll get the boot!
