It was difficult coordinating to get Jared out to my home for a quote on some entertainment center wiring, maybe 3 – 6 hours of work. When he did come out he was very nice, and spent some time answering questions. Didn’t give me any indication that the job was too small or difficult or anything out of the ordinary. However, he never got back to me with a quote, despite two follow-​up emails. That’s just unprofessional.

These guys are great! I bought a camera system from Amazon and tried to install it myself. That didn’t go well…
I called two places that specialize in home security and never got a call back. I went into a Video Only store and asked if they install. They said no but referred me to these guys. I was comfortable with their shop rate (you get what you pay for). I’m too busy to micro manage so I was relieved when these guys got right to work and I could tell they were pros! I tried not to hover cause that is annoying but I was curious so I peaked in on them from time to time.
I will definitely use these guys again!

Jared and his assistant Mike were thorough and professional. We had a seven-​item task list that took 9 person-​hours to complete, including swapping out a wall-​mounted flat screen and A/​V receiver, improving our TV reception by adding an external antenna, and configuring the new system among other tasks. They were careful, obviously experienced, and concerned about doing a good job. The price was as expected with no surprises. Good job, guys!

Jared did a fantastic job on my project. The scope was hanging a 42″ HDTV above a fireplace in my condo unit, where the drywall was less than stellar. I contacted five companies and Jared was the first to respond with a reasonable price quote and timeframe. He showed up on time, listened to what I wanted/​needed, and executed beyond expectations. He even volunteered to come back after the holiday to add a component not previously discussed, free of charge!
I highly recommend this company. I will definitely refer Jared to other friends/​family.

I read the previous review and would have to agree with the timeliness of Jared’s arrival but part of it was my fault for not sending him my address. I needed to have my home audio/​visual system revamped. I had wires going every which way and a tv and speakers in different rooms controlled by equipment in another room. He came in and studied what was going on and cleaned up all the wires and tidied up the whole set up, explained what was what and made sure I understood how things worked before he left. His charges were very fair and I am going to have him return after I finish remodeling a rec room to hook up another big tv system.

I have a 40 inch Samsung TV. The request was to have it mounted over a fireplace. I was given a Home Theater Connection card by a representative at Definitive Audio.
There are some points that were mentioned by Jared Jarvi (the owner) on the intial exploratory phone call that he did not live up to. When asked about price, I was told that he charges $ 75 an hour and the jobs are usually 4 hours long so the cost would be $ 300 total. I was also told he would arrive around noon.
When he didn’t arrive, I called and he said between 3 – 4 (each time I left work awaiting his arrival). I finally got a call at 4:15pm that he was on his way. The job was completed by 6pm. Less than 2 hours.
Once the job was completed (which he did an adequate job — I think the TV is not quite level) he gave me an invoice for $ 496. He charged for 4 hours, and he did not mention that the mounting equipment was extra (otherwise I could have bought the mount myself and saved money). Thus I was charged $ 300 for labor instead of $ 150 and $ 196 for the TV mount.
So the moral of the story is to get clarity around his hourly rate, ensure TV is level, and get clarity on the cost of the TV mount before you agree to service.
I have a projector and another TV to mount, but will use another service.
