Marlow is absolutely THE BEST realtor we could have worked with. My husband is a full-​time artist and metalsmith and I’m a teacher. We were looking for our very first home and needless to say, we did not have a huge budget to work with. In addition to this, we needed a home with a dedicated workshop and studio. We also didn’t have the time or money for a major «fixer». All of these things combined with wanting to stay in the Seattle city limits with easy access to downtown and the freeway (for my husband’s clients and my commute) made for a challenging situation. We assumed it would take us forever to find ANY house let alone the perfect house.
Marlow was recommended to my husband by a friend (and fellow artist) who told us that Marlow specializes in finding homes for artists in the Seattle area. After some email correspondence at the beginning of the year, we met in-​person (sometime in March) and told her all of our needs and wants. Marlow didn’t skip a beat and already had us looking at houses that week. To make a very long story short, Marlow got us into the perfect home in a neighborhood we actually want to live in and we didn’t have to max out our budget. She was able to read the situation, spoke to the listing agent and knew if we moved quickly, we could put in an offer for the asking price and it would likely be accepted. Well, it worked and we couldn’t be happier! Marlow dropped off our keys yesterday (along with a bottle of bubbly).
I should also mention that house hunting with Marlow is actually fun. Her personality is the best! She’s funny, artsy and has a great sense of style. Her personality and positive attitude helped us through this stressful endeavor. She’s easy to get a hold of and would always find the time in her busy schedule to fit us in. Marlow even made the time to stop by my husband’s art opening last month… how cool is that?!

When me and my girlfriend were looking for our first house, we were very nervous and scared. Although we had done some internet research and read some books, it was a very daunting task and quite frankly intimidating.

Dream Home is not an exaggeration … I found it with Marlow! She also shepherded me (a 1^st time homebuyer) through the offer/​mortgage process.

Marlow was enthusiastic, professional and most importantly, was able to sell my home quickly and at a price point where both myself and the new buyers were happy with.
