Our modern, inviting Venue Rental spaces provide subtle elegance for your next event. Whether you are looking to host an intimate wedding for 100 or a large banquet for 700, we have the capacity to accommodate you at Seattle Design Center. With two unique Rental Spaces, we have a diverse facility with plenty of space for creative design and planning. Centrally located and easily accessible from both I-​5 and WA-​99, Seattle Design Center is a great choice for a variety of beautiful functions.

History

Established in 1973.

A Designer’s Dream by day and an Elegant Event Venue by night…

Seattle Design Center opened its doors more than 35 years ago to serve the region“s growing appreciation for quality design and home furnishings. After the showrooms close, we are left with over 10,000 square feet of Elegant Event Space. A complete remodel was completed in December of 2005, bringing the Venue up to speed with modern architectural standards and aesthetics. With open and spacious floor-​plans and plenty of room for creativity, our Venue is a blank canvas ready to be painted into a lovely party!

Jenifer Thornton has a natural ability to connect the dots between clients and vendors to make perfectly smooth events. Armed with a perpetually positive attitude and creative problem-​solving skills, Jenifer handles all levels of event planning from intimate gatherings to elaborate multi-​day celebrations. She finds this platform a rewarding experience as she enjoys sharing her work, knowledge and passion for all things event planning. She feels blessed for her career in an industry she loves, founded on vision, expertise, and connections. Her hand selected team of vendors are the best in their field, creating stunning occasions and unforgettable memories.
