Update: just bought a helmet here too. I’d originally bought a Scorpion EXO 410 helmet on Revzilla, but when I got it the fit wasn’t right. I went in to Seattle Cycle Center to compare size/​fit on different brands & models. They encouraged me to wear helmets for a while to see how they felt after a few minutes. I ended up getting the same helmet I’d ordered online, but a size down. They convinced me to buy the pinlock system too, which is a huge plus since I ride year round, and I just dealt w/​the fog in my old Z1R helmet. This Scorpion helmet is a much nicer fit than my Z1R, and the faceshield mechanism is much better. I’m happy they convinced me to get the pinlock system, I think it’s totally worth it if you ride in cold/​rain/​dark.
Revzilla took a week for the helmet to come in, and I had this right away. The price in person is $ 12 more (tax), but I say it’s worth it to have the helmet instantly, and also for the chance to try on different helmets and see the colors in person. I wasn’t looking forward to returning the helmet to Revzilla, waiting a week or two for a refund, then waiting another week for a new helmet to come in.
This place is great, and the prices are the same as what I was finding online. I went around noon during the week and I was the only one trying on helmets.

Not open on Sundays OR Mondays anymore! Honestly, that was my biggest reason for going here. And the one sales guy that I’ve interacted with who’s name I forget but I like a lot. Bummer. What is up with there literally being NOT ONE shop open on Sundays and Mondays? I understand not doing repairs on certain days, but not selling accessories, apparel, and parts? What are us folks who only have those days off supposed to do?

If I could give Seattle Cycle 10 stars, I would! This place is awesome. Although I was not surprised to see how many great reviews they have received, I thought I would add to the list seeing as they have exceeded my expectations in every way. I was recommended this place by a co worker after I informed him that I had just bought a bike and that my husband and a group of friends were planning a road trip from San Francisco. Within the past few weeks Seattle Cycle has become a second home. The sales staff is outstanding– Ryan has been a HUGE help, super patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Their mechanic Dave is amaaaaaazing. It is such a relief to find a mechanic that is not only honest, sincere and professional but an all around bad ass. They have won our business for life!

I called seattle cycle yesterday trying to get my honda shadow tuned up since it has been making some not so great noises recently. Ryan was real helpful on the phone and told me to bring it by and someone would look at it when they got a chance. I stop in, and Dave was just finishing up on someones dirtbike, he immediatley noticed some problems with my chain and said he could fix it up quick if i hung out a bit and wait. He only charged me $ 25 for the chain lube and realignment but he basically did a general tune up on the bike i think because it sounded and rode soooo much better after he had it for just a half hr. Will definitely be returning for future bike work, its a weight off my shoulders to find a mechanic Im confident in and can trust!

I normally don’t leave feedback on places but I had to for Seattle Cycle Center. I really only dealt with Ryan, but he is AMAZING. So helpful and knowledgable. I felt really good making my purchase of my new Kymco Like scooter. He even delivered it all the way to Monroe AFTER work hours. I can’t review anyone else there, but Ryan alone makes it awesome. I will send all my friends there for future purchases. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. I LOVE my new scooter!

Great gear selection and the employees are awesome. Haven’t had any work done by their shop.
I ordered two helmets and bought gloves and a bungee net from them. The employees were all super helpful and they remember me when I go back in.

Dropped my bike off for some miscellaneous work, and received a call an hour later that it was finished. Bike runs like new again. Friendly and truth worthy service, I would recommend this shop to any friend or family member.

The customer service here rocks. I needed a new battery for scooter they were able to get it installed and out the door quickly.

If I need anything for my scooter I go here. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgable.
When I needed a helmet Sunny answered every question I had about multiple brands and styles and gave me loads of advice on fit. I’m sure I took up at least an hour of his time but he never made me feel like a bother. He has such a great attitude and is a total wealth of knowledge. I ended up leaving with a helmet that I absolutely love and have him to thank for all his help.
I just took my scooter in today for an oil change and a good once-​over and had the same pleasant experience I’ve had every time I’ve gone in. Greeted with a smile, they immediately got to work on my scooter and called me an hour later when it was ready. They didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need or hit me with charges for unnecessary parts. Just solid service at a reasonable price. And now my scooter is running like a champ!
I have a friend with a scooter and she feels the exact same way about this place. She only ever has great things to say as well.
This is my top choice for any maintenance, clothing or accessory need here in Seattle. I can’t recommend them enough.

. While I typically like to support local businesses, this return policy is ridiculous. Really disappointed and definitely won’t be back. Sad, let down, and regret everything I purchased. The owner of this shop should be ashamed of himself.

took a bike i had just bought used here to have a full run thought after it had a bit of a temper tantrum on the freeway and some oil spillage. The owner seems like the kind of guy I would want to have a beer with. He was incredibly welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in getting my bike back on the road. I told him I had a budget of $ 200. I got a call a few days later from him informing me he had found the problem and with my permission could fix it and be out the door for $ 182. My bike was back in my garage within a week. I have told the owner and his crew several times, that they provided the best motorcycle mechanic experience I have ever had (I’ve been to several other shops in the area and have been not been impressed). If you want a stress free fix to your bike, this is the place!
PS they have free candy, which is a huge bonus if your like me and still act like a 4 year old

These guys are awesome. I needed to get some new tires mounted. I brought in the tires and wheels and within 40 minutes these guys had them mounted and balanced and at a fair price! Highly recommended!

I have purchased many things at Seattle Cycle Center. The service is friendly and fast. They do not charge for tire mount and balancing. The catch is that you take off the wheel and bring them in «loose».
Seattle Cycle Center is the local small motorcycle parts and accessories shop. It’s just like Cycle Gear, which in my opinion is the Walmart of the motorcycle world.

I’m having a hard time deciding between 2 stars or 3, so I am going to go with the 2, because I believe that reflects my overall satisfaction with my experience best.
I spent 45 minutes at Seattle Cycle with a friend trying on gear. In that entire time, we were acknowledged once, after being there for over 20 minutes, when I finally tracked someone down and asked about the stock of motorcycle boots they had (if all sizes were out). After that, nothing, again, until I paid at the counter the two people on duty had been piddling behind for the majority of the time I’d been in the nearly-​empty store.
The selection was fairly good. I found textile pants and a riding jacket here which I am happy with. But, part of me felt like kind of a sucker as I was buying $ 300 worth of brand new gear from these guys, because the service was nonexistent and the employees seemed completely uninterested in offering help to me.

This kind of business DESERVES to stay in business!
The place is awesome, the crew is friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable, and the selection is large.
Don’t buy motorcycle gear on the Internet, unless you use the SCC website. You want to be able to come in any time and find what you want, now.
I ordered an item not in stock, paid for it, got an unexpected discount, and picked up the item a few days later.
In the past I’ve bought helmets, jackets, pants, etc. there, and lubricants as well.
Oh, they do more motorcycle tires than anyone in the area.

This place is GREAT! And it’s got everything you need, and everything you would want. Since my the motorcycle chain store that I used to go to stopped selling the good brands, I decided to check this place out. I’m sure glad that I did!
No pressure to buy anything, knowledgeable friendly staff… It’s a great shop.
I ended up getting my husband a mesh/​yet waterproof Joe Rocket jacket (way less expensive than what I thought it was going to be) with the Unilocal deal they have on here. And if you sign up for their email list, you also get a VIP card and 15% your first purchase.
I highly recommend this place. They really know their stuff, and I’m sure if you asked, they would be willing to order something if they didn’t have it on hand.
They also do scooter rentals and sales in there, and there are a couple café style bikes (though I didn’t look too closely at them) — I was amazed how big the scooters were!
I checked out he Shoei’s — and they have every model. My head doesn’t really fit in Arai helmets, but I tried them on anyway for *hits and giggles. The Arai model that is comparable to my Shoei doesn’t fit my head at all… Oh well. I guess that why I always buy Shoei’s.
Support your local businesses! I’m going there again tomorrow — this time in a car, so I can carry stuff. LOL
