Sharon is the very best dog walker and trainer. I’ve had her do a walk and train with two dogs, and I’ve also had her do supplemental training. Particularly with my new puppy, Sharon has done so much more than take my dogs for a walk — she’s helped address behavior like biting, barking, and jumping up on people. Sharon’s also really helped with socialization. Every time I take my puppy out, I can see improvements in her comfort level with traffic, the monorail, and lots of different people.
Sharon’s also a great resource for training issues. I’ve had her come when I needed some additional advice on how to tackle different behaviors. She’s even responded to texts with advice when I’ve had questions. And then I know she follows up during walks to reinforce the issues we’re working on.
A final note: Sharon sends me a text with a picture of my pups every time she comes for a walk. Her pictures are great, and it’s so nice to have a regular stream of new pics of my pups.

We adopted a young female pit mix named Alice who is the sweetest dog on the planet but extremely prey-​oriented outside. My wife and I have both had dogs much of our lives and we figured we knew enough about them to deal with Alice’s «over-​enthusiasm» at the end of a leash. But we brought in Sharon to give us some tips that we might be missing… and boy were we missing them, as it turned out.
She is fantastic. Told us a bunch of things we didn’t know, explained Alice’s behavior really well, and gave us very practical solutions to help modify her bad manners outside. She’s a very smart dog and learns fast, and using Sharon’s techniques we saw a major difference within a few days. And that was with just one session! We’re continuing the training sessions with Sharon for a while to make Alice a well-​behaved canine citizen.
Anyway, the short version: Sharon is a lovely person and really knows dogs. She’s a great trainer and we had a lot of fun learning from her.

We recently relocated to Seattle and I sent Sharon an inquiry regarding her services for our dog, Riley, a rescue pup who is nervous around new people, especially in one on one settings. Sharon went above and beyond in her response to us. She assessed the description of Riley and provided some great recommendations for care options that she thought sounded like the perfect combination for Riley — including a few that were other providers offering services she didn’t, but that she knows well and trusts. It’s been nerve racking trying to pinpoint the right people to trust your dog to in a new city, and Sharon has helped greatly in that process for us. So, while there may be other care options better suited for Riley (dog park adventures, etc.), even from short email exchanges it is quite obvious that Sharon is extremely caring and knowledgable and someone we hold in high regard in the Seattle area.

We feel so lucky to have found Sharon. It was last minute and we had just gotten over a bad experience with another dog walker. When we met Sharon, we could tell right away that she was professional and highly experienced. We loved how she interacted with our dog. When we were gone she sent us great updates with photos that were super adorable. Our dog had her tired happy smile on her face in the photos so we know she got great excersize ! It was so nice to not worry while we were gone. I would recommend Sharon to anyone looking for a pet sitter /​walker /​trainer. She is awesome !

I left Seattle about six months ago and was only really sad about having to leave SCS and Sharon behind, after almost a year of the incredible service and care she provided me and my Yorkipoo. I travel and move a lot, and before finding Sharon, I had always used doggy daycare facilities in other cities — you know, the ones where the dogs come home with goop in their eyes or something? After moving to Seattle and working with Sharon, I swore to only use at-​home dog walkers and sitters, because of how much happier and calmer my dog was when I’d get home. I figured, surely I can find someone else in the country who can come close to the quality of service Sharon provides? Even if they are only half as good as Sharon, it will still be better than boarding. Boy, was I being optimistic! Since leaving Seattle, I’ve worked with dog sitters/​walkers in two different states, and none of them have even come close to the quality of care that Sharon provides. Everything from Sharon’s attention to detail, to her customer service, knowledge and style of training, and genuine love for her job is unbeatable. It’s truly depressing out here, folks! Count your lucky stars that you have Sharon!

Just a quick update — we’ve had Sharon take care of our big old dog a few times now and she is consistently reliable, pleasant, and wonderful. So happy to have found her!

Sharon from Seattle Canine Solutions is great! She is very knowledgeable and approachable. She definitely knows her stuff! We did the puppy parenting class for our shiba. Everything that Sharon taught us has been effective. If you need help with your first puppy, I would highly recommend her!

I love my fur-​kid with every ounce of myself, we’ve been through a lot together. Over the years, I’ve always had a friend watch/​walk her when I could not, but friends have failed me and I decided it was time to take the stranger danger plunge :) I sent emails to a few different places and long story short — Sharon’s response was the most personalized and sincere. We both loved her immediately and having her around has been LIFE changing for me. I can plan trips without worry and have a little less stress in my super busy day to day life — which is exactly what I needed. I love the text pics she sends (with adorably humorous captions ;) and am no longer left wondering if my girl got fed and fussed over in my absence! Sharon sincerely cares about animals and wants to make a difference in not only their lives — but the lives of those who love them most. Don’t let the fancy blogs and supervision cameras of other companies sway you to think that makes them better (I almost made that mistake). I know my girl is in awesome hands when she’s with Sharon and I feel super blessed to have her in our lives!

Sharon at Seattle Canine Solutions is a pet whisperer, more so Pekashu Whisper. I called Seattle Canine Solutions at last minute to watch my dog overnight and she happily obliged. Not only did she come over right away to get her, but offered to take her before she saw me leaving to avoid any separation anxiety. She was very thorough and asked all of the questions a concerned dog mother likes to be asked. My pup also has territorial issues with other dogs and she offered while in her care, to work on that. She told me the threshold that upsets my dog around others and how to work in this. All in less than a 24 hour period. Her training intuition is spot on. Also recently I wrote to Seattle Canine Solutions Facebook page about a vomiting bout my dog was having and she responded immediately with care instructions. 1 day later and no expensive vet bill, SCS came to the rescue. Im so happy we have her to care and train for my little monster! I highly recommend Sharon at Seattle Canine Solutions.

I needed to get out of town for the holidays and all of my usual cat sitters were doing holiday activities and I wanted someone that I knew would make it even if there was bad weather.
Sharon over at Seattle Canine Solutions (SCS) was the right choice. After a brief consultation about the special diet that my cat Jake needed, I felt super comfortable with leaving SCS to do the work. While I was gone, SCS even sent me photos of Jake over email which was fun to see.
SCS is definitely going to be my choice the next time I need some cat watching.

My friends sometimes chuckle at the care with which I look after my dog, SunRay. He’s my baby boy at the old age of almost 13. I recently needed to travel out of town to attend a professional training. I had earlier met Sharon, and learned that she is a certified animal trainer. We met and discussed SunRay’s particular needs. She was so sensitive, so understanding, and very professional. She even asked me if I wanted SunRay to learn a new trick or behavior! Srsly? Very cute. She sent me daily pictures and short updates which I found reassuring. I guess the biggest thing was that I not once worried about his well being!
