I took my evening gown there to be cleaned and I had the worst experience at this place. I asked the employee how much it would cost to clean the dress, and she quoted me $ 10. When I went to pick up the dress, the employee told me that it had looked like cleaning fluid was still on the dress because there were weird purple splotches on the dress. Later, the store owner called to explain that the dye had actually bled, and they needed another week to clean it. She also told me that the employee was supposed to provide a disclaimer saying that this could happen before they cleaned it, but she had forgotten to. I gave them time to fix it. When I went to pick up the dress, there were still purple dye marks on it, and she said that was the best they could do. I asked to speak with the manager on the phone, because I at least wanted her to acknowledge that they did not provide me with a disclaimer. But the manager refused to speak with me. The store owner conveniently forgot the phone conversation of how the disclaimer was supposed to be provided. The store owner called me difficult and told me to just accept it. I told her that I did not appreciate the fact that she called me difficult, as I am a customer. She disregarded me, and told me I was young and not wise enough to accept these things. I did not appreciate the way she treated me. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here to get your clothes cleaned.

I can’t believe I gave them the privilege to even dry clean my clothes two times, after the first time, it didn’t even look like my clothes were cleaned so I told her that I was not paying which I did not. She asked why and I explained how I felt their service to my clothing articles was poor and she apologized and asked that I give their establishment a second chance which I did and again I was unsatisfied with the results. Their prices are okay but their quality is poor.

Worst place to get dry clean. I been going here for about 6months bc it is close to home. A couple times I noticed my clothes still have stains, smells, and iron press prints on my pant. I let it go a couple of times, but today it happened again. My wedding coke spills was still there, still have the smell, and they faded the pants with the iron press??? Isn’t it supposed to be steam clean??? Well I talk to the lady she agreed but she is just work. I asked for manager she said she on vacation. She call someone that speak Spanish and said he is the supervisor for me to speak to and he didn’t even speak English! Here is my conclusion on how they run their business step by step: 1. Take you clothes 2. Iron it with an iron press 3. Put it in a plastic cover 4. Call you for pickup 5. Steal your money

People become unreasonably attached to their dry cleaners if you ask me. Me, I’m a total loyalist when it comes to services that are important to me. It’s been a few years since I’ve had a job that I need to wear suits for, which is fine by me! But though my need for Seattle’s Best has declined, I still go there for my cleaning/hemming/mending services. I love the ladies that work here; they haven’t changed in the 9 years I have been coming. They are no-nonsense ladies but sometimes we just sit and talk about their kids and dogs – while I apologize profusely for all the cat and dog hair on my clothes. You really can’t beat $ 38.95 for 10 dry cleaning items(jackets are a little extra). They have never lost any of my clothes and their hemming services are terrific. I’ve been genetically cursed to have a long upper body and teeny, tiny, Hobbit-sized legs which means that hemming has – and will continue to be – a necessity in my life. The petite sections of stores never seem to have the right measurements at my hip and waist right – either they are too straight or are way too curvy of a fit. I’m not big on shopping; I don’t care where my clothes come from, but I admit that I have expensive taste in jeans :/The hems that they do matches each individual jeans so well, you can’t tell my Hudsons didn’t come from the Oompa Loompa factory naturally! Open on Saturdays, they have next-day service; which is normally a little extra, but I think the ladies look the other way for me. Get to know them, be loyal, and don’t let communication difficulties get in the way of telling them how much you appreciate them!

This will sound strange, but it is oh so sincere. I’ve been taking shirts and dry-cleaning here for at least 6 years, week in and week out, without a break in «loyalty». I have never enjoyed going there because the women that work there(there are two, the main one and the relief) look extraordinarily unhappy; unhappy to be there and unhappy to serve you. But for a long time I took it in stride. It’s a bummer to go into a completely deadened space but hey, it’s just dry-cleaning! Then I decided to play an active role in having a better experience; out of empathy and genuine curiosity. And sometimes boredom. But all attempts were designed to see if I could communicate in some way as to lift her spirits momentarily or learn from her… or try to lean into her energy to better understand it(don’t be so judgmental I’d tell myself!); maybe she isn’t unhappy at all and just has to pace her energy through the day? blah blah blah. BUT, for some odd reason, in the last year I have come to dislike and now even dread(!) going to get the damn dry-cleaning! It’s like this little toxic interaction that needles me. So, you may ask: does this woman say ANYthing to you? Well, yes. But first I’ll say that when I start going to a new coffee shop they usually learn my drink after several weeks… for sake of argument lets say months. I’ve been going to this drycleaner for over 6 years and every single time she acts like she doesn’t know me — no eye contact. And the first thing out of her mouth is, «phone number». It’s almost a question. My husband, unlike me, is a totally laid back, optimistic, happy-to-be-alive type. What does he say? He says he’s just happy I am the one who takes care of the dry-cleaning. Seattle«Best» Cleaners(ha ha hwa HA hWa WA Ha ha!) is the closest cleaners to me and prices are reasonable. But watch my reviews; I will be testing out less near, more expensive cleaners in order to get a better experience for my cash.
