Established in 2006.

Scraps Seattle was established in late 2006 in the burgeoning South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle, as a one-​stop-​shop for the discerning Pet lover. We at Scraps strive to provide our customers with the best available options for healthy diets and treats, as well as the highest quality accessories you’ll find in town! Scraps also provides a unique Urban-​chique shopping experience that you’ll find nowhere else.

At Scraps, we are continually reviewing the best products available on the market and hand-​selecting what we consider to be the best of the best. I wanted to love this place because of the great location but the staff and owner are not friendly or helpful. I’ve been in here with my pup but because of terrible customer service I will not be going back.

I have two very protective, very barky chihuahuas and walks were super stressful! (For them, me, and probably the other dogs too!) I was considering other products and services, but found the Pet Corrector at Scraps and decided to try it. After all, the $ 10 investment was minimal. Folks, the Pet Corrector has completely changed our life! Definitely worth a try if your pups have a problem behavior like mine did! We are still working on it, but they are now much more calm outside, or when guests arrive at the door. I’ve recommended this product to my parents for their chihuahua, and it has also worked wonders for them. Give it a try!

I went into Scraps in a frazzled rush, having just been notified that my secret santa gift exchange was THIS week not NEXT week.
Already late for work, I tried to find this place and Google maps brought me to the wrong place. I called, and Dave answered and gave very courteous directions to the store entrance. When I arrived, I looked around for a comfortable amount of time before being approached. I described that I needed dog related gifts for my co-worker’s pitbull, and in a very modest price range. Dave helped me put together a great selection for well under the price I suggested, and even put in a gift bag with tissue paper. My co-​worker was thrilled! Thank you Scraps.

Can’t tell you how much my dog and I love this place. They have great local team sports gear (Seahawks, Cougars, Mariners) and an amazing assortment of high quality products. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating (they even helped us special order a Christmas sweater for our dog that they didn’t have in the store). Every time I am here there is something else great I want to buy. What a special treat to the South Lake Neighborhood

Needed a birthday cake for my furry friend. This place delivered a great looking product and I picked up a few other things as well. The one gentleman behind the counter was helpful and cordial. The place was clean and well laid out and I was in and out quickly. All in all, a solid visit. and a great locally owned business.

I decided to take my pup out on a big socializing day and Scraps was one of the stops I was most excited about! I live in south king county, so it was a bit of a trip for me. It’s a small store, but they definitely utilize all their space. They also have a good variety of items, from food, toys, collars/​leashes, furniture and puppy apparel. I was a bit surprised that the bakery selection was so limited, since it’s in their name. But it was very adorable regardless.
I’m mostly disappointed in the cashier. I suppose I’m spoiled with all the pet store staff I’ve encountered since getting my puppy, but Scraps cashier was definitely not friendly, helpful nor approachable. Immediately walking in, even though there was no one else in the store and it didn’t seem like she was doing anything, she didn’t greet my pup nor I. The entire visit, it felt like I was bothering her. I asked a few questions on different items and the response was always limited. Overall, I’ll probably come back on my pup’s bday to try a cake, but otherwise I’ll keep frequenting other local pet stores. It’s not really worth the trek for me.

5 stars for Scraps! A fantastic little shop with everything you need. They have great food solutions in case your dog has allergies. And their accessories, everything from dog beds the dog leashes are high quality top notch items. The owner is a really nice guy who wants your dog to be happy. He treats you like family. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Seattle

The cashier/​sales associate was NO help at all. She was on her iPhone, taking a personal call while our time in the shop. The only interaction we got from her is when she seen us approach the cash register with our items.

Toys, outfits, organic food & snacks, and more. This place has LITERALLY everything you could ever want for your four-​legged friend. I just stopped in today to see what it was all about, but I’ll be returning to pick up a few things for Milo.
I really have no question to whether or not he’ll like any of the organic treats — he already devours the ones we get him at Mud Bay!

My dog is a fan!
Trekked over here to get my lucky dog a 4″ round birthday cake for $ 8. I was told it is made from oat flour and carrot juice. I think it’s safe to say he enjoyed it! They keep these in a refrigerated section, so you have to ask, and I was told they get delivered once a week.
They have some high quality products here that are fun to check out. A big wall of squeaky toys, balls, etc. really nice collars, leashes, and the clothes were all cute and looked like nice quality. I also noticed they have dog beds where you can pick out the upholstery from swatches… Lol! Spoiled much?
Aside from the cakes they also had an assortment of awesome doggie cookies.
Definitely worth checking out! A little confusing to find at first — if you start in front of the main level entrance to whole foods at Denny/​westlake, go up the outdoor escalators or stairs that are to the right of whole foods (if you’re looking at the entrance directly) and scraps is to the right.

I really like this place. The owner is friendly and remembers me and my dog as well. On my last trip I picked up poop bags and «doggy ice cream.» It’s not actually dairy ice cream but it is frozen and my dog lives it. I also found out that they sell my dogs food brand and type so I’ll be able to buy it from a local store instead of from petco.

I love Scraps! It’s in a convenient location from my work, and they have all of the high-​end products that I buy for my German Shepherd! If you are into putting apparel on your animal (which, let’s face it, is hilarious), then I suggest you come here too as they have a gigantic selection of apparel. I’m sure you could get some for your cats if you purchase the smaller sizes!
They also have some great treat options for your pets… I love that I was able to buy the CUTEST little birthday cake for my dog who recently turned nine! He LOVED it!
If you are in the city and are looking for a one-​stop-​shop for all of your pet needs, then I recommend you check this place out. You’re going to love it. :)

Love them! Great neighborhood resource for dog owners. Good collar selection and they even have Seattle Sounders themed dog jackets!
I’m also very appreciative of the complimentary doggie bags they have in stations around town at apartments and dog parks — what a great advertisement for Scraps while also helping to keep our city clean! :-)

I would give this a 5 star if only there was a wider variety of doggy birthday cakes since that was what I was initially looking for when I stopped by, and it’s kind of hard to find at first since there’s construction going on right now. But I really like this place. It’s local, neat, organized, and there isn’t dust on every other product like other pet stores. The owner there is really nice and helpful as well since I had no idea where the cakes were lol. We had a little conversation about the shiba inus on the wall since I’ve been wanting to find one and he wrote down the breeder name and was very nice about all the questions I asked. I think I’ll be coming back! :)

Convenient place to get cookies or small baked goods for your dog for that special occasion if you live around the Denny Triangle/​South Lake Union area. Not the biggest selection of things, but if you’re in need of high quality dog food, treats or toys it will do the job nicely! Everything is a bit pricey though, so be wary about that.
The shop people are usually nice and don’t try to sell me on anything, so I can take my time and browse.

Every city has that one boutique place for dogs and this is THE place for Seattle! Scraps Dog Bakery is located in the Denny Triangle area where the Whole Foods and Pan Pacific Hotel is located. We’ve been coming here every year to pick up a special birthday baked cookie for my dog. You can also buy a doggie birthday cake if you like. They are reasonable priced for a specialty item and my dog enjoys them. They have a large selection of dog items from food, biscuits, treats, dog beds, leashes, collars, harnesses, coats, sweater, etc… I’m a fan of the Teckel Club line for my dog so I’m glad I can walk in here and buy a dog coat without having to order online.
I’ve always had good customer service here. The staff I’ve encountered have always been warm, approachable and knowledgeable about their products. If anyone was looking for a boutique dog shop and bakery, I would recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on our way to Whole Foods to look for something specific. He was excited to see it finally open (their hours posted are wrong– they randomly close the store).
I was not at all impressed with the lightly-​stocked shelves. The cat toy section was messy and disorganized but we did manage to find what we were looking for, the last package of catnip scratch and sniff papers.
My boyfriend say hello to the cashier as he set his papers up to pay. The cashier didn’t acknowledge us and continued to catalog a card for the next 30 seconds. He finally rang up our one item and then didn’t give my boyfriend his two pennies in change. Then he proceeded to tell us to have a nice day in a really sarcastic way (and I can tell).
So this place: NO THANKS. I’ll go to Mud Bay, which has consistent hours, friendly service, and tons of items.
