Love this place! I purchased a deal from Groupon and took Zumba class from them. The staff was friendly and efficient :) I would love to take more classes with them. Definitely recommended. Thumbs up ladies!

The class was very good especially the ones that I attend regularly and also because of the instructors as Cece and Mellisa. I enjoy dancing with them a lot.

The cha cha class was great. It was challenging enough. I liked the footwork and pattern and had plenty of opportunity to practice with several leads. Class members seemed to be of similar skill levels which helped the class move on at the right pace.

Salsa N’ Seattle is host to dancers of all styles, body types, ages, and genders. It’s a welcoming dance studio regardless of your level of dance expertise. The girls at the front desk are super friendly, and I don’t recall not seeing them smiling. The dance area is spacious, even during the more busy classes. My little brother and I took the beginner and intermediate hip hop classes with Emi. She’s super fun. Enthusiastic and accommodating. If you have a question, she doesn’t mind taking the time to answer/​demonstrate thoroughly. If you want to repeat a step, she’s all for it. And she knows her stuff. The choreo is diverse and challenging, but Emi does a tremendous job of teaching it. She’s also really good about pacing her class. Gauging the comfort level of her students, she’ll continue practicing the sequence or move on according. We had loads of fun learning the choreography, not to mention that we worked up a pretty good sweat. Great music selection as well. I highly recommend going to Emi’s classes!

Great place to learn Latin dancing. From beginner to advanced. I have been here many times. Everyone is polite and help you.

The team here is awesome. They helped me choreograph my wedding cha-​cha and it was a ton of fun to do. We also used their DJ services and it was a great experience during the activity they know their music and their dance moves and the customer service was spectacular.

I love going to SalsaN’Seattle for both classes and social events. I salsa dance a lot around Seattle, and this is by far my favorite place to do so. The environment is fun and welcoming to all ages. I took classes from Victor and Julia for a long time, and they have immensely helped in my development as a dancer. As individuals they are very sweet and kindhearted people, and as instructors they are very detail-​oriented to make sure you don’t make a fool of yourself on the dance floor (and who isn’t thankful for that?!) Whether you’re looking for a fun Tuesday or Friday night out, or dance classes, I would highly recommend this studio and the instructors!

I’ve been taking salsa at Salsa N Seattle for about 4 months and have enjoyed every minute of it! I’m currently doing Salsa Level 2 since two months ago and have also joined their «Performance Team» to further my skills. The performance team is a group in which you learn more on technique and the nitty gritty in styling and how to do choreographed dancing, which I’m so excited about because it will finally help make my dance look more elegant, sexy and professional!
I have always wanted to dance like a pro, and I believe it is possible with the help of Victor and Julia as instructors. They are not only amazing dancers but very good at teaching all levels of dancers. Advice is frequently given to both follows and leads on how to perfect moves, including hand positions, footwork, timing and how to maintain a steady frame throughout the dance. Julia and Victor are both very friendly and funny but timely and on point with teaching a new move per class, and they are helpful in giving good criticism and feedback to each person (at least as much as they can in a group setting). It truly is the most fun I’ve had learning to dance as well as being effective in really learning the art of salsa dancing!
There is also plenty of parking in the area and the classes are pretty inexpensive, especially if you get the 10-​class package or the unlimited package, which gives you access to ANY of the classes offered, which is great if you want to jump into a hip hop, dance strengthening, hoop or ballet class. So worth it!

Salsa N’ Seattle is an AWESOME place to take fitness and solo dance classes. I signed up for unlimited membership back in summer 2013, and have been hooked ever since! My membership is only for 3 of their many classes — Zumba, Hip Hop and Hot Hula — so my comments are limited to those particular classes.
I LOVE the Zumba classes at Salsa N’ Seattle! The instructors really understand what it means for Zumba to be a «total body workout» — there’s a great mix of cardio and toning routines that will leave people sore and sweating at the end of the session (a good thing!), but all smiles. I love the high energy and variation in routines the instructors bring (especially Cece!). Zumba class is always something I look forward to after work during the week.
The hip hop and Hot Hula classes are less intense compared to Zumba, but still a lot of fun. My bestie and I learned some cool dance moves from Emi’s Hip Hop classes, and we were able to show them off to our friends at the nightclubs in Cap Hill. And Kaui’s Hot Hula classes are the perfect weekend morning workout — low impact, but still effective in working out the abs, glutes and quads (the areas that matter the most haha).
All-​in-​all, I have nothing but good things to say about Salsa N’ Seattle. The instructors are fun and friendly, key tags (with a unique barcode for your membership) make the check-​in process very easy, and there are cubbies to store your belongings during class. The location is convenient, and many people (including myself) are able to just walk to class. But if you drive, parking is free after 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and all day on Sundays. Class and membership prices seem to have steadily increased ever since I joined, but I’d say it’s worth it if you’re willing to be committed. For me, it’s pretty easy to stay committed to working out when there’s music and dancing involved — it totally beats going to the gym!

The hip hop class that I took is very fun and the instructor is awesome. I’ve never taken dance class, so I struggle with the pace. The Hot Hula Fitness class is my absolute favorite and is a MUST try! I was able to follow right along, the instructor is the kindest and most fun person. She encourages, compliments and directs well. The facilities are well maintained, spacious and they have places for you to set water bottles, cubbies for your belongings, couches for when you’re waiting and a convenient check in process. I love it!!!

Bollywood dance and Zumba classes are fantastic. Will be trying salsa in the new year.

I come here as many nights (and weekend mornings!) as I possibly can for Zumba. I adore the instructors-​very different vibe from the classes at my gym. Did I mention it is FUN!!! More like club dancing than anything-​I get to sweat, shake off my day and feel awesome. I’ve tried the Hot Hula a few times as well and it is challenging and fun too :)

I took my first Hot Hula class this past Saturday as part of a groupon deal I bought a few weeks ago. The location itself is easy to find and right on Stewart St next to an Emerald Smoothie. Street parking was easy to find on a Saturday morning.
The reception area can get clogged, I would imagine it’s busier than normal due to the groupon deal. Everyone who was checking in had one. The plus side is the receptionist was very nice and friendly. The studio is broken up into different rooms. The Hot Hula was in the back room and there was a dressing/​changing area as well as cubes for storing your stuff.
The class was very approachable for someone with no experience with hula or Polynesian dance and Kaui made the class fun. It’s about shaking your booty, getting a workout and having a good time! You will learn some basic steps and in no time you may surprise yourself with how easily you pick up the moves. One thing to know is that the room is not «hot» or heated like you might expect from a Hot Yoga studio. But, it was plenty warm and you will be breaking a sweat. If you don’t, you’re not shaking those hips hard enough.
After class, I hung around while the salsa class was going on. There was a good instructor to student ratio and people seemed to be getting enough 1:1 attention. They offer a few other classes so I may check those out.

I really love it here! The classes are very affordable ($ 89 per month) and the teachers are so nice and understanding — they want you to improve but are very patient.
I take Bachata with Felix and Lucy, and Salsa with Victor and Julia. All of them are really wonderful and good teachers. I feel like I’m getting better every week!
I also like that there’s a wide variety of classes offered there… swing, tango, zumba, hip hop, etc… lots to keep you busy. They also have multiple levels of salsa with lots of opportunities to take each one and a defined curriculum on their website:
The commitment of Victor and Julia is amazing. They host Tuesday practica from 8−11pm just so their students can practice, and dance parties on Friday. Lucy and Felix always stay after class to answer questions and let people practice. I really can’t believe how dedicated they all are!
I highly recommend this place! I feel like people there are so friendly and want to help each other learn how to be better dancers and to have fun. And it is… very fun!!!

This is a review for the private lessons. I’m a card-​carrying Century Ballroom member and I love them for what they do in making dance accessible to everyone, but I’m so glad I found Victor to teach me the moves that finally make salsa feel like DANCING.
I signed up because the Salsa 3 classes at the Century Ballroom were going a little slow, and even the Salsa 4 students at the Century don’t quite move naturally while dancing. Victor took me back to the basic step and in just 2 sessions has taken me farther in basic steps and spinning than in all my time dancing to date (trust me, I still have lots of work to do still). He pays a lot of attention to detail, and is able to identify the exact movements that cause me to dance stiffly or lose my balance, in ways that even my private instructor in Guatemala didn’t do for me.
If you’re not confident in dancing, or if you have kids in tow who want to hang out at the Molly Moon’s during your lesson, I think the Century is a better place to be, because they are really geared to being as accessible and welcoming as possible. But if you already love to move your body, or if you want to look better dancing, I highly recommend these guys.

I go here a few times a week for Zumba. If you love to dance, it’s a great workout. The main instructor CeCe is my favorite. They have brought on several new instructors to accommodate the growing numbers of people joining. They also opened a 2^nd much larger studio, which is really great because the front studio is small (fine for their other dance classes), but I was ready to to quit going as it was getting so crowded.
I will say the front desk needs a little help getting organized. There is always a different person checking people in and/​or something is not working correctly with their computer so there can be a little back up getting in the door. Just give yourself a few extra minutes before class if you can & you’ll be all set.
Parking is metered on the street there, but I’ve only had an issue once or twice finding parking. Also if smoothies are your thing, there is a place right next door, which I always go to after as I’m a hot mess (in a good way!).
I give the Zumba classes 4 stars, the facility/​service 3 stars.

I am taking Beginner Salsa classes here and am loving it. Victor and Julia are very talented dancers and understand how different people learn and take the time to make sure everybody gets it and feels good about moving on. They are clear, easy to understand, professional and patient. The classes are always full of laughter and fun. The location is easy to get to
The Pros:
* Great location in Seattle with lots of street parking.
* Lessons and sessions are progressive — Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced etc.
* Affordable rates
* The biggest pro for me is the personalized instructions from lead instructors Victor Chavez and Julia Krasnov. They are awesome! What I enjoy about their teaching style, is that they don’t just teach you a bunch of monochromatic dance steps. They show you the flow, the details, the way you make these steps sexy and seamless and show you what it looks like when you do fall into the mono trap. Victor also has a great sense of humor! They encourage all their students to practice their new skills which is really easy because they open the studio up on Tuesday nights for Practice” Sessions. FREE
The Cons:
* None so far! Wish I would have started sooner.
Although I can’t compare Salsa N Seattle to other dance studios, I am certain that you won’t find a more passionate and talented group of dance instructors in the area. I plan on completing all the salsa sessions.

Fantastic… victor and julia make this place sooo much fun … i love his sense of humor and ease of teaching style. they both ensure you learn to dance from within and not robotically follow steps. trying to teach each student to lead if you are the guy and follow if you are a lady not the other way around. finished the beginner lesson already and am hoping that my scehduel clears up to go to the next level.

Let me begin by saying I’m an awful dancer (I’m much more of a karaōke guy).
I’m taking the Beginner Salsa classes here, and I really like it. I appreciate the small class size — less than 15 people in my beginner’s class. They also open up the space for free practice days on Tuesdays for anyone who’s enrolled.
The class itself is nicely paced — I felt challenged but not overwhelmed by the instructors. The hour’s pretty much up before you know it. Bonus points for lots of free street parking around the studio after 6pm.
I suppose I can’t really compare it to other dance lesson venues in Seattle because I haven’t taken any, but any place that makes me (Mr. Grumpy) excited about next week’s lessons deserves five stars.
