Jo Rios @ Salon Opulence gave me an excellent cut. I have had some nightmare cut and colors is the past year and the way my luck had been running lately I was reluctant to take that step again. One of my employees recommended Jo so I took a chance and I’m glad I did. She took the time to study my fine hair dry, shape of my face, discussed my hair régime and what my day to day needs were. She tried a different product on me and before I had a chance to say I didn’t like the way it made my hair feel she said it for me and asked if she could wash it out and re blow dry my hair. Her attention to detail is terrific and I have enough confidence with her abilities to have her do my color as well in the next few weeks.

Ok so I work here at Salon Opulence(I am the massage therapist). As far as the Salon goes, these girls are amazing stylists. Actually I would be safe to say these girls are hair designers. Its location is right on Lake Union so its so beautiful. Its a fun hip enviornment but not at all stuffy. The girls are so down to earth and listen to each person… I guess thats how they create such magic!?! Plus we have an esthetician who uses Decleor(my favorite product)! Hope to see you soon!

Easy access, lots of parking, and a quiet atmosphere make this small salon — which is adjacent to Lake Union — worth checking out. Salon Opulence has 5 stylists(+a massage therapist and acupuncturist), who lease space, which means they run their own business. Props for that! If you need someone who’s good with both cuts AND color — go to Tia — she does a great job and she’s fun!
