After leaving my review with the experience that I had at Sally Beauty Supply I was immediately messaged and bullied for no reason please be careful if you are going to leave a review here there are people out there that will bully you to take down your review stay strong don’t take it down and unfortunately there’s no way to report someone who is bullying you or harassing you.

I’m leaving this review for my fellow ethnic sisters in the area. Friendly and bubbly weekday attendants aside (seriously, the nicest WEEKDAY Sally’s staff I’ve ever encountered. The weekend worker will glance up at you as you enter and give one-​word answers.), this is a mini-​haven for gorgeous healthy natural hair.
What do I mean by that? Well, let’s just say there’s an ENTIRE ISLE dedicated to us dark and lovely homo sapiens: Coconut oil, jojoba oil, argan oil Moroccan oil as well as top of the line cleansers/​co-​washes, leave ins, cholesterols and hair butters.
For my fairer friends, I know some of what I’ve written may leave you scratching your heads like «What is she talking about?», but trust me when I say that it is my expert opinion that there’s nothing more high maintenance than a black woman’s hair. So, just know that this store is a huge deal. Nod and smile.
There are plenty of products for everyone, generally. I just spaz and get excited when I see more than 1 square foot of space of ethnic products.

I go to this Sally’s on the reg for my hair dying and bleaching needs. Yeah, it’s a small store and yeah, sometimes the associates are busy. But every single bad review about customer service really just makes me think the reviewer themselves are not very nice to be around.
Every time I go in, I wander down the dye aisle looking at my options. If I have questions, they answer them when I go to the front and often make suggestions. Usually I have a funny chat with the other customers and share some laughter and tips with the girl (s) who are working.
I am giving them 4 stars based on convenience, cleanliness, friendliness, pricing, and that they have their own (allbeit small) parking lot. The minus star is due to selection, proximity to traffic, and the fact that they’re often understaffed.
I don’t know why the rest of yall are having such issues. Maybe you need to be nicer.

I came here a few days ago to buy protein treatments for my hair. Not only did I NOT receive customer service, I was followed around by a staff… as if I was a potential thief. This made me really uncomfortable. I will not be returning to this store again.

I bought clippers three nights ago and came back to the store to exchange it due to the fact that it made such a loud noise. Upon my return, I was helped by a blonde girl who gave me two other poorly made clippers. However, I was still interested in seeing if these clippers also made a loud noise when used. Therefore, I asked her if there was an outlet in which I could test out the clippers. She told me that there were none available. I then asked her how this is so because then how would the store be able to wax their floors. She replied saying they only mop their floors, which I knew was a lie. After this, she left me to help out other people. Then, her coworker came back and started helping me. I told her why I wanted an exchange and she promptly took the clipper and plugged it into an outlet just at her feet! I was so outraged and shocked that the other girl lied to me! I asked the other girl why she lied and she told me it was because she’s not allowed to plug anything in there… BULLSHIT.
Since I was so upset, I didn’t want to exchange the clipper anymore. Instead, I asked for a cash refund, since I paid in cash, and they told me they didn’t have the money to follow through with the refund. I found this particularly craaaaazy because my clipper only costed a little over $ 70 dollars. After telling her this, the both of them turned around and told me they were kidding and actually needed a manager to do returns. I find it amusing that they weren’t able to give me a legit response and kept being so wishy washy! I addressed this and they ended up just ignoring me completely. Frustrated, I left the store and I will never buy anything from there again.

I’ve been shopping at this Sally’s for a few years now, and it’s great. I’ve always had good experiences, even though it’s usually different staff. The store is really clean, shelves are tidy and well stocked. Staff are happy to help if you need it and will leave you alone if you don’t.

I’ve been to this store every 6 – 8 weeks to purchase my hair color. I’ve never had a negative experience but then again… I’ve never had any questions, nor am I a hair professional. Everyone has been nice enough and I’d rather not feel obligated to chat. Great to get in and out.

Idk why the negative reviewers are on here. If you really read them and look at it from a business point of view it sounds as though they’re leaving their own negative details out. No?
I’ve shopped here maaaany times and have not once had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, the store is clean and the products very well stocked.
You must understand… Sallys is a corporation. Thousands of stores World Wide! I think it’s hilarious people complain about the some prices and what not on here, do you also go to a Sears, Macy’s or Albersons ’ Unilocal and complain about their corporate prices? (Just saying lol)
With that said they’re very fairy priced store, which I know many local businesses use their products for their own salons and spas without complaint.
This is a very professional store, not a privately owned store. Just keep that in mind while shopping.

Unlike other Unilocalers, I had a great experience at this location today! I went in to pick up a foiling comb, and was greeted very nicely. I asked how the associate (I believe her nametag said Evan) was doing and she was very happy that I asked.
She offered me the sales flyer for the week and went to help another customer as I didn’t have any questions, and was very helpful a few minutes later when I had questions about choosing lipstick from the ones that were on sale. We’re both redheads so she even helped me choose colors that I absolutely love.
The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the display with the lipstick was on the very bottom shelf, and I just find it odd to put a shelf talker/​sale/​monthly special item in such an easy to miss spot. It was a little uncomfortable to kneel while we discussed colors, but for a buy one get one free special, I didn’t mind all that much :)
In short, Evan was very funny, nice, and attentive, even despite the fact that the other customer she was with was very short with her, and I like the selection. It’s one of the smaller stores I’ve been in, but it has what I need. This is the closest Sally’s to me and I will definitely be back.

If I could give this place a ½ a star then I would. I went in looking for some clip in bangs and when entering I was greeted by a very nice blonde sales associate she was helping another customer. I went to the hair department and they didn’t have my hair color so I asked the other pregnant sales associate if those were the only colors available and she very rudely said yes and ten walked away. 2 minutes later I witnessed her being extremely rude to another customer. I will never go back to this store ever!

Great Products but I’d go to a different Sally’s to get them. I just didn’t care for my service here.

Been here on several occasions,
It’s the closest Sally’s to me, but I’d much rather drive up to Bonney Lake than deal with the rude staff at this location. EVERY TIME I have came into this store I am #1 NEVER GREETED #2 The Staff is busy talking to fellow co-​worker, or with friends in non work related subjects. #3 The manager is RUDE! #4 It’s so loud from all the gossip when I finally do get someone to help me I can’t hear a word they’re saying.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I went in looking for strong grip bobby pins and left with that and a hair shining serum after a recommendation from Jennifer. She informed me of their $ 5/​annual membership program but didn’t pressure me to join. I noticed they had quite the selection of fake eyelashes for those in the market!

Went in for the first time today, staff was awesome, answered every one of my questions. Store was clean, organized, and I will definitely return again!

The manager of this store exemplifies exactly what great customer service is all about! She was nice, helpful, friendly and saved me money! When I arrived she was ringing up a customer but still greeted me as soon as I walked in. I was looking for a bleaching kit. As soon as she was finished she came over and asked if i need any help. I asked her what the difference was between two kits ($ 7.99 & $ 8.99), besides the price. Since she noticed I have very short hair she said «Do you like to save money?» of course was my answer, she showed me a product that was half the price as the kit, ($ 5.49) and gave me a coupon for free developer. The best thing is I can get two or three uses out of it! Well since I was planning on spending $ 10 I figured i would buy a bowl for mixing. She said «you don’t need that, just use any non-​metal bowl from around the house. She was right! She saved me approximately $ 30! I went ahead and signed up for the Loyalty Program it saves you even more money! I will be a loyal customer for years to come!

This location has been open for three weeks and the staff is spectacularly nice. Invest in the $ 5.00 yearly membership fee for their loyalty programme. You will get the savings immediately as well as a coupon on a future visit and additional savings throughout the year. There’s decent parking in the lot but not a lot of spaces since it shares with the FedEx + H&R Block.
