The staff and the facilities here are both exceptional! They were so friendly and nice and generous, and all of the amenities are beyond expectation. From free food and quilts for the kids to comfortable rooms and shuttle service and a movie theater, this place is great!

I’ve volunteered twice with my company and organized once with my friends (Thank you Aaron E, Chris W, Kate S, Kiki, Cris H, and other ones I can’t remember). I had great time volunteering at Donald McDonald House.
What I love about volunteering here is not really cooking for cancer patients from Children’s Hospital and their families. What I love is to see their smiley faces and satisfaction when I greeted them and serve them dinner with the warmth. Their smiles really melt my hearts!
The last two times volunteering with my company here, RMH actually gave us tours about the facilities. Even though I am not a cancer patient, I really appreciate what RMH has done for their kids and families.

So I’ve only been here to volunteer with the kids that are staying at the place. However, every time I go I’m amazed at how content the kids seem. The facility is amazing and super nice. We have done our volunteering in the play area/​kitchen. It’s nice that not only do they have a meal service going on but there are also kitchens where people can cook on their own. Also, the area has lots of things for the kids to play with, from video games to toys to books. If you’re in the situation where you need to utilize the Ronald McDonald House, from a volunteer’s prospective, you won’t be disappointed.
