Description

Specialties

Roaring Mouse is a place where all people can learn about the joy, freedom and power of embracing the creative spirit. The mission of our studio is to offer creative experiences designed to awaken curiosity, develop artistic confidence and craftsmanship, and build connections with others. We support the individual process and growth of each student and we respect different learning styles. All of the teachers at Roaring Mouse are committed to giving our students the best chance to discover and develop their creative potential and to find ways to share those gifts with the world. We believe the arts provide rich and meaningful opportunities to develop self awareness and strong communities.

History

Established in 1997.

Roaring Mouse classes and workshops have been offered in the Seattle area since 1989. Our first studio space opened in the Sandpoint area in 1997, where we built up a loyal clientele through our programs in the creative arts. In addition to our studio classes, we continued to offer adjunct programs at local schools, serving students from ages 2 ½ through adults. In 2004, we moved our studio to our current location in Ravenna. Today our studio houses two preschool programs, early childhood creative arts classes, after school classes for elementary aged students, and evening classes for tweens, teens and adults. We also offer birthday parties, fundraisers, and special events.
