History

Established in 2003.

The Reiki Training Program was founded in Seattle, Washington in 2003 by Eileen Dey and is the only licensed vocational school of Reiki in the state of Washington. We are an inclusive program and have trained over 2000 students from around the country and the world. Our alumni association, the Reiki Fellowship creates community and promotes Reiki as a modern and viable healing art.

Business Owner

Eileen Dey Wurst has over 20 years experience as a counselor, trainer and Reiki master in social service, academic and corporate settings. She combines her professional background with her passion for holistic healing in her work.

She holds classes and events each week as well as individual appointments for clients seeking integrative counseling.

Eileen developed the technique of Insight Reiki, based on Process-​oriented psychology, which combines both energy work and mindful counseling into the context of the session.

This technique is appropriate for dealing with chronic issues to provide deeper body awareness and the potential for greater insight and resolution. Her work is profiled in the published book, Touching the World Through Reiki.

She accepts Aetna, First Choice and Group Health insurance carriers.
