First trip to Seattle and explored the city every night, but ended all of my four nights here. Great bar, relaxing, good drinks, reasonable prices and a great Happy Hour. The new bartender, Rose, is amazing. She’s just wonderful. Relaxed, willing to converse and makes great drinks. A bit eccentric, but very entertained and down to earth and simply quick and good at her job: exactly what you want from a bartender.

Their Christmas dinner served prime rib, asparagus & potatoes gratin, it was simply amazing. Top it off with chocolate lava cake — so good.

Review for breakfast/buffet. Great food with plenty of options. Love that made to order omlets, eggs and waffles are included in buffet price. Service is fabulous, especially when the manager Richard is working. There have been days that Richard isn’t there and service was not the same. Our son is a student at Seattle University so we are frequent visitors to the hotel. Breakfast here everyday of our trip. The complimentary bottled water to take along for your day is a very nice bonus :-)

Running late after a shopping mission to Pike’s Place, we rushed back to our hotel for a quick meal before our trade show started. Remembering that we had a decent dinner here last year, we decided this was the most logical option. There is an ala carte menu besides their breakfast buffet. Worrying about the wait time, buffet made the most sense. They pretty much have the standard scrambled eggs, breakfast meats(sausage and bacon), and potatoes in addition to a cold meats and cheese platter and lox and bagels. There were a few salads and breakfast pastries too, but the kicker was the left side table. There were two heated pots which I thought were oatmeal, but, to my surprise, one had porridge… as in, jook( )! I wasn’t sure as the consistency was extremely thick… as in Elmer’s glue… but the condiments around the pot along with the chopsticks confirmed my guess. There were thousand year-old egg wedges, Japanese pickled radish, and shredded pork soong, a popular accompaniment to Chinese porridge. The meal selection was decent especially for the price which was under $ 20.00 per person. A neighboring diner had an order of steak and eggs which made me second guess myself, but, given our time constraint, this worked well. The dining room was about 1⁄3rd full when we started, but it was more than half full when we left as the UCLA soccer team had their meal call. What knocked the review down a step was the service… or lack thereof. After we quickly decided on the breakfast buffet, we were offered drinks which were brought relatively quickly. Sadly, they were not replenished and, being a buffet, the no-no service wise is when plates start to pile up on the guests’ table. I can understand if the servers were swamped or there were unexpected problems, but it seemed that they were more caught up in socializing with diners and themselves than tending to the guests’ needs. I hope that they take note of this as this is totally opposite from our server from my previous review who truly made us feel at home during dinner here.

«Super attentive staff» reported by others must have had the day off Sunday. Wow, ignored by all three staff. Took this as an experiment and stood in the middle of the bar area for 10+ minutes. Never acknowledged my existence. 8:30 for a 10:00pm close. Bad night? Too bad, since the food I ordered from room services was excellent, with excellent service.

I went for Happy Hour after a long day of working. The bartender was really attentive and helpful. I ordered off the dinner menu, but the happy hour had«meal» options as well, which was different from other downtown options I’ve found. They also had real«happy hour» prices on drinks unlike other bars located in hotels(beer/wine $ 3 – 4& wells $ 5). The atmosphere was definitely hotel bar, but it was quiet enough I could read a book. The pizza I ordered had a LOT of cheese(which could be good or bad depending).

Super welcoming staff made me feel at home on my trip! Breakfast was fresh w many options for all nationalities. Especially since I couldn’t find many options in the surrounding area.

We were here for a catered sporting event, and it was disappointing. The«buffet» consisted of sad, weepy egg and cheese sandwiches(that I can’t eat because I don’t like eggs and cheese), donuts that may have been fresh two days prior, and fruit that was probably grown in a lab. Disappointing is an understatement. The bloody mary was painfully average, but I couldn’t complain too much, as that was the only cocktail I could get there. They only staffed 2 bartenders in a room full of Wyoming fans. We are serious about our early morning drinkin’.

Considering that it is a hotel restaurant, it isn’t bad. The tapas plate was excellent, especially given that it was part of the Happy Hour bar menu. The«Lake and Steak» was also good(Duck Confit and steak). Breakfast is another matter. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and dry. I will give their congee(chineese rice porridge) a try.

I typically have low expectations when dining in a hotel’s restaurant but walked away pleasantly surprised after eating at Regatta Bar & Grill. The meal started off with warm wheat bread(my request) and cold crisp salads. Our entrees consisted of a 12oz Prime Rib for the Mrs. and Lobster Mac & Cheese for me. I ended up devouring 70% of my meal and at least 6 oz of the Prime Rib. The meal was so delicious, we decided to eat there again the following night. I ordered my own 12 oz Prime Rib and despite offering up a small slither to my wife, devoured the remaining 11.99 oz! Ask for John if you decide to check this place out. Since I ate here twice I will go ahead and give 5 stars for consistency.

BBQ Chicken Pizza here is pretty darn good. The price may be iffy but you are at a hotel, so it makes sense. Also, the regular fries are pretty good, too. Service can be hit or miss and lately they keep missing. I understand that it can be annoying to open different tabs for different people at the same table but if I walk up to the bar separately from my group(I came late) I don’t think I should be given attitude for wanting to start my own tab. They have a lot of cool cocktails if you want to try something new. However, if you’re only looking for drinks, I’d take a walk to Dragonfish.

I came here at the end of my night, and as such was slightly drunk. Todd and Kimberly were working and showed me and all my friends a great sense of humor, some friendly small talk, and, most importantly for me, patience. I’d come back just to chat them up again. Thanks you guys!

I had the honey habenero wings and the classic combination pizza here. Both are good sized portions. I think the pizza could be shared between 3 people(12 inch).imo. Both items were very greasy however, which killed the flavor. The pizza and the wings would have been pretty good otherwise, but the pizza box was soaked in grease and the wings were covered with oil as well, muting their flavors.

This is restaurant above the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Very nice inside. I would say it is one of nicer hotel restaurants I’ve been in. I had a seminar in the hotel and decided to try this place. It was pretty good. I ordered a Reuben and salad. Not bad. Very fresh ingredients on the sandiwich. Service was really good. Very prompt and polite. Give it a try.
