Rainier Dance Center is a neighborhood studio focused on building community. Our goal is to help our students become respectful, kind and motivated young people, by offering a structured and supportive learning environment. While we strive to create strong technical dancers, we also cultivate creativity and individuality. We believe everyone should be able to dance regardless of their ability, age or body type.

History

Established in 1980.

Rainier Dance Center has been in the Rainier Beach community for 33 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Jenna M.

Business Owner

Jenna has been dancing for 27 years and teaching for 16. She began dancing and competing in Redlands, California and moved to Seattle in 1998. She completed her BFA in Dance at Cornish College of the Arts in 2007. She’s danced with many award winning teachers and choreographers in the Los Angeles and Seattle areas, and has been teaching and choreographing in Seattle for more than 10 years. Jenna is currently a member of SERENDIP, a contemporary dance company in Seattle. Jenna taught at Rainier Dance Center for six years before she took over as owner in 2013.
