I have been seeing chiropractors regularly for over 20 years and this is the first time anyone has refused to see me without an x-​ray. I have very high familial risk of breast cancer and avoid unnecessary radiation. I had spinal x-​rays 5 years ago and no history of trauma since. This requirement is not evidence-​based so I can only assume it is a way to make more money. I am deeply disappointed as I had done a lot of research to find a chiropractor in my new neighborhood and was excited about this team.
