I moved to Louisiana when I got married. Obviously a lot had changed for me, and I didn’t know any local insurance agents. I googled and found QuoteWizard. I only had to fill my information out once and I was instantly matched with a couple local agents. Quick, easy and definitely worth your time.

I happened to see a QuoteWizard television commercial and thought it is time to shop my auto insurance. I used the QuoteWizard site and found a much cheaper rate than I was paying with geico for my home and auto insurance. Super easy!

I was at work in the middle of meetings this morning. QuoteWizard had multiple agents calling me throughout the whole morning. Then when I actually picked up a few, it was for the wrong person. I really didn’t appreciate the multiple calls from various numbers. I thought it was an emergency and worried about my family, but it ended up being a sales call for the wrong person. How can you do that to a stranger during the holidays!!!

It’s a hoax… they get your personal info, then pass you along to a couple of paid referral sites. No value added… and you give out personal info. PASS.

If you’re an insurance agent, stay away from them. I’ve purchased leads from them a few times and this company is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Lead quality is poor, but even worse than the lead quality is their customer service. Stay far away from them.

In my 5 years as a producer I’ve called on a lot of lead companies, but have had the greatest success by far with Quotewizard. I have a contact rate of about 60% and a close rate of about 30%, which if you know internet leads, you’ll know is very strong. I do run across bad leads (incorrect contact information, people who aren’t interested etc) but the company’s very good about crediting them back. Overall they’re a good marketing option, and I’ll keep using them as a source to add business.

When looking for Life Insurance, I didn’t want to search the web and call a bunch of agents to get quotes. I wanted those quotes to come to me to let me decide what fit me the best. Great customer platform and experience. I would use QuoteWizard again, and recommend them to my friends.

I am an insurance agent and I buy leads from many companies. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Poor quality leads full of bad information. I submit the bad leads for credit and get denied even when they have bad phone numbers. Good luck getting your money back. Run Away!!!

In my experience they are many levels above the «others» in the lead market. As far as quality, filters, and their credit policy for «leads gone wild.» Also their service is solid.
Highly recommended as long as you’re not buying leads in my backyard — leave those to me :)

If you are an insurance agent do not purchase this service 99% of the leads are bad.

I needed to get some insurance for my new apartment (landlord required it) so I did some googling and came across Quotewizard. After submitting a bit of my information, I was contacted by a total of 4 insurance agents from different companies who had all prepared quotes for me. I ended up going with State Farm. who had great rates and was the easiest for me to contact and I couldn’t be happier with their service. Thanks for putting us in touch, Quotewizard!

Out of every ten leads I get, I close 7 of them. Some agents just can’t sell policies or are too lazy to follow up! That’s why we have a high turnover. Don’t blame the company… blame you’re selling skills as a agent.

An All State insurance agent called my mother today, claiming that I had asked for a homeowners insurance quote on her house. The agent got my info from QuoteWizard apparently, which claimed that I had made the request. They had my address wrong (I haven’t lived at my mother’s home in many years), and were also way off on my DOB and have an email address for me that I’ve never used. QuoteWizard did not answer my calls. Apparently they’re just making up info and selling it. I don’t know who would ever want to use this company, or how they’re even in business.

Amazing company! I signed up to get insurance quotes and beat my current rate by a ton.
I received comparison quotes from agents exactly as promised. I know where I will be going for next time I need quotes.

this company provides fake leads to insurance agents. The «leads» send are from people who have no idea how or why agents are calling. Do not use this company. You can see the five star reviews are posted by employees or owners.

This company sent out a quote request with my name, phone number and information on a vehicle I do not own. I received emails and phone calls asking me to finish my request for a quote. I have not even requested any form of insurance quote on anything– my sister has been my agent for 15 years!
I called them and they seemed surprised that i did not fill out an online form. I spoke to all the agents who called me and they all urged me to call them, they all had said that they had paid for the lead, and the leads from this company were false.
What a hassle for something I wasn’t even looking for!

Horrible Service! Was mislead when I signed up for quote wizard. I was told there was no cap for getting Credits back on bad leads, I could only get a credit for lets say 10 out 30 before I got the message, and I quote, «This lead is not available for credit. Your account has reached a credit rate this month that is double that of our national average. Your account will remain active and available to receive leads. Please email QuoteWizard at
with any questions.», So horrible, I work with Farmers, and I will NOT be reccomending you to any other agents. Its bad enough that you have horrible leads, with phone numbers leading to a person that is not listed on a quote, but then you mislead agents into thinking there is no cap for credits you can receive on bad quotes. Out of 30 quotes, only 4 of mine were good.

I received several calls from this company which I missed throughout the past week. I finally was able to answer a call and the male represented himself as an agent for QuoteWizard and said he was returning my request for insurance quotes. When I asked who he was calling for, he said a name that was not mine — it was someone I have gotten several wrong numbers for recently. I told him I was sorry but I was not the person he was looking for — and went on to say I had gotten a few calls for this person but did not know who she was. I was being polite and nice, and in the middle of my sentence, I hear the man hang up on me.
The agent could have simply said «I’m sorry» and taken me off the call list. It would have been extremely simple — especially since I was being polite and lighthearted about the situation and the mix-​up. But instead the agent decided he wasn’t going to get my business, so he hung up on me.
The problem here is that what was a simple mistake ended up angering me, so I Googled the company and found the phone number for them (which in this day and age, only took me 1 minute to do), just to call back and let someone know about the rude encounter I’d just had. When I called back, someone picked up and hung up. This happened twice, and on the third time I reached an agent’s’ (named Jeremy) voicemail — I decided to recount the incident on the voicemail instead of wasting my time calling back again.
I would not have ever sought out to write a negative review of a company on Unilocal for calling a wrong number. It happens to the best of us. But what I do expect is polite, courteous people calling me, especially when I am polite and courteous even though there has been an annoying mix up that resulted in numerous wrong number calls. Customer Service agents have to remember that you represent a company and are saying that company’s name when you call, and something as small as being rude and disrespectful and hanging up on someone could cause a person to have a negative review of your business, telling their friends about it… and then writing a Unilocal review.
Perhaps QuoteWizard should require their phone agents to take a refresher course in customer service. If they are so rude to the people they call — how in the world do they treat their customers? One thing is for sure: I’ll never be finding out!

In addition to my review in August, I wanted to mention that I just found out that they also lied about not being signed up for automatic renewal! When I signed up I was specifically told by the representative that this was a one time payment and I could renew if I wanted to, but they would not automatically charge me for further leads. This was a lie and a month later I was charged again for a new month of leads.
