Super tasty turkey club with bacon and avocado. I loath turkey usually, but this was actually deliciously spiced and they were very generous with all the toppings. The hours are only during lunch and I think prior to shows, but it makes for a great option during the week. Really convenient to have a starbucks next to it.

I was recently at a performance far earlier than I intended and found myself peckish. Unless I wanted to stroll to Wild Ginger, my choices were SBUX for overpriced fare or Puck’s. I’d never tried the latter so I glanced at their small steam table. There weren’t a lot of offerings but what they had was definitely eye-catching: a roasted turkey, mixed veg, mash, salads… I asked the woman behind the counter if I could just get a side of mash. She was enthusiastic and said yes, asking me if I wanted gravy with that. Doling out more mash than I needed, I paid for my bowl(less than $ 3) and had something warm in my tummy to stave off hunger pangs during my performance. I disagreed with one Unilocaler’s assertion about salt, I found the mashed potatoes to be just fine and I wasn’t searching for Gatorade streams in the backyard afterward. I’ll definitely keep them in mind for our next Benaroya performance. I’d say the downside would be the crowding before a show. It can be a bit of a zoo.

I’ve only had the grilled cheese and couple of their soups, both were really good. They are thick, flavorful, and very satisfying. The only downside is their secret ingredient maybe salt, because I am like the Sahara after I eat here. Never seen it crowded and it is close to my work so I will probably be back.

Puck’s is open 2h before concerts and talks at Benaroya, making it a very convenient place to grab a bite to eat before a show. Puck’s is also open for lunch on weekdays, but I wouldn’t eat here unless attending a Benaroya event. Dinner options I’ve seen include roast turkey with mashed potatoes and vegetables, turkey dip sandwich, quiche Lorraine, daily pasta specials, soups, and salads. Beer and wine are available.(There is a Starbuck’s right next to Puck’s for more beverage options.) The flavors are fine, but don’t expect a gourmet experience. An average dinner costs $ 12 – 15. Order at the counter, load your items onto a tray, and stake out a table. Lines get long, and available tables become scarce during the pre-show rush.

Great spot to grub before a show in Benaroya Hall or during the usual lunch hour. Pretty standard good walk-up food. I think I tried their version of a hummus wrap? o0 I forgot… but it was good. Also a ginger ale. If you stay in, you can bask in the cool east corridor of Benaroya. Sweet glass piece and majestic ceiling.
