Prive Events

Working with Krista at Prive Events was an incredible and unforgettable experience. We hired her as our «Day-​Of-​Coordinator» and I felt like it made the last month leading up to my wedding such a breeze. We were in clear contact every single day and she created a timeline with every detail to ensure the day would go perfectly. There were some points where I couldn’t make up my own mind and she helped me by stepping in and giving her professional opinion, which helped tremendously and spoke for itself on the day of the wedding. When I felt like her services could not have been any better prior to the wedding, she really went above and beyond on the wedding day. She was working hard the entire time to make sure everything was in its correct place and that things were happening at the correct time. She was there waiting for me with a glass of wine at the end of the aisle after we made our exit, and that moment (along with every other moment she was present) just made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, knowing everything was in her hands and she rocked it. Krista constantly put my needs and wishes first and did her best to make sure my wedding day was everything I had dreamed of, and it was. I highly recommend Prive Events, it was the best wedding gift I could have given myself!

We had an exceptional experience with Prive Events! Krista helped me through the entire wedding planning process to make it a dream come true from smallest details. Krista was personable, warm, easy to talk to and a great communicator, completely available to me when I needed her. Our wedding day was run incredibly smooth without a hitch all because of Krista’s amazing ability to see the whole picture and deal with any unanticipated needs. I could not have chosen better!

Megan’s services were the best investment for the entire wedding event. She made sure all things went according to plan while gracefully handling me (a very stressed out and high strung bride). She gave us wonderful recommendations for venders, coordinated the communication as well as the day of planning. Everyone in our event got a detailed itinerary so they knew exactly what to, do, bring and where to be at what time. We hired Megan late in the wedding planning process about 2 ½ months before the event and not only did she take a huge weight from my shoulders, her services let me enjoy the wedding process (which was very much not the case before her intervention). Megan truly went above and beyond and I would hire again for any large event I were to ever host. Thanks Megan!

Megan was fantastic! As we we are living in SoCal, we needed a planner that could handle all of the details (giving us recommendations, emailing quotes, telling us what is/​isnt a good value, checking out venues, some light design plus all the craziness of the day) and she handled it all without much direction. Our weekend was one of the best weekends of our lives — what a perfect 4 days thanks to Megan and her team! Hire her and don’t go for the day of package — let them do it. They are flexibile so you won’t feel locked in on any one package if it doesn’t work for you. Thank you, Megan and Prive!

Megan from Prive is basically the best! We booked the Lake Washington Rowing Club (one of the venues that Prive manages) for our wedding and working with her was super easy. She was always responsive to questions and tried to help us out in any way that she could. She met us at the venue various times before the wedding and let us bombard her with questions. She was always super professional and fun to be around! She also made sure to follow up with us after the wedding to say congrats and see how everything went, which was very thoughtful!
We also used Prive for our bartending services. Again, awesome. Easy to set up, reasonably priced, professional, super helpful at the wedding, and really fun to work with. Can’t ask for more than that!

We hired Prive Events for day of coordination and bartending services for our wedding and they were fantastic! Megan was our day-​of-​coordinator and she was phenomenal. Upon meeting Megan and talking through my vision — I immediately knew we would be in good hands. She asked all the right questions and provided guidance every step of the way. She was always available to meet and worked through every detail without making it feel overwhelming. I very much appreciated Megan’s ability to think outside the box to make things happen. She was also very patient in working with our vendors — especially the unresponsive ones. The team at Prive really took care of us on our big day — they were on top of everything, including making sure we (the bride & groom) ate! The best combination of drill sergeants and problem solvers which made for a wonderful wedding day!

I hired Megan from Prive Events to help with my son’s wedding. I have given many parties and enjoy coordinating and planning them but i wanted to enjoy this party and not be the server etc. The moment i met Megan I was impressed and felt at ease. i loved her energy, helpful information, and useful suggestions of what to do. I ended up having a before wedding BBQ, a wedding, and after wedding brunch– and then two weeks later we lent our house to some friends who lost their house in the eastern WA fires– and we had another wedding! Megan and her crew coordinated all of these events. It could not have been easier! In fact, I don’t think I’ll ever give my own party again. i was free to mingle and enjoy my guests. I didn’t have to be in charge of anything. They served food, organized people, coordinated activities, cleaned up (perfectly!), and kept the party moving along. I could not have done it without them. They were all extremely courteous, professional, energetic, and so extremely kind and caring. Look no further for a wedding/​party planner!

Megan and her assists with Prive Events made our night everything we imagined it would be and more. Before we interviewed Megan we had met with another wedding planner and took her to our venue (a private venue in the groom’s aunt backyard). When meeting with this planner she told us that we could have the wedding there, but she would have to charge us more money from all of her vendors since it is down about 100 flights of stairs. We scratched that idea very quickly and started looking for a new coordinator.
We interviewed Megan and immediately felt put to ease. She reassured us that whatever we wanted it would happen, unlike with our previous experience. We had an interview scheduled for another coordinator, but after meeting with Megan we cancelled that and just hired her without a second thought.
Megan was everything we had hoped for. Anytime I had a question about anything wedding related, from invitation wording to where to find sparklers, Megan had an answer and was quick to reply (which I have found is not always the case with wedding vendors).
Where her and her team really shined was the days leading up to the event. Our venue was a bit of a challenge since it was down the stairs, all outside and next to the water. There were issues with the lighting and the speakers (which I found out about after the wedding). I never had to worry about anything going wrong because I knew I had Megan to fall back on. Throughout the evening she kept checking on us to make sure everything was ok which was also reassuring. I would definitely recommend her to anyone I knew getting married. She gave us peace of mind and allowed us to be in the moment and remember what a special day it was.

We recently hired Privé Events to help with an informal Welcome Dinner to start off our wedding weekend. Our caterer planned to set up and deliver food for a buffet, and to be honest, we didn’t think we needed to hire anyone and were pretty annoyed that the venue decided to require it just a week before the event.
Well, we were wrong.
The team was phenomenal, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The three staff members were upbeat, very helpful, and willing to accommodate last minute requests with smiles on their faces. They worked quickly and made everyone feel welcome. Lindsey, the lead, was extraordinarily professional and kind, and she made everything run smoothly.
We appreciated their expertise with regard to staffing numbers and anticipating our needs, and especially their responsiveness via phone, email, and even text. By contrast, Invisible Hostess promised a quote within a few hours or by the next morning when we first called, but we didn’t get an email back until a week later (a few days before the event), and there was no quote.
So my advice is this: even if you think you probably don’t need to hire an event hosting company, you should just do it. And when you decide you’re going to hire one, make your life easy and go with Privé.

Professional. Friendly. Exceptional. Knowledgeable. Attentive.
These are just five of the words that describe why Prive gets a 5 star in my book. We recently used Prive for a festive event at a residence for bartending services. Their road to 5 stars began as soon as we showed interest in their service. They always communicated in a professional manner, and followed up with key information and insightful questions.
The real magic happened on-​site. From the moment that Megan and Krista arrived they were unbelievable helpful and responsive. They jumped in and lent a hand to every part of the event. It did not matter that we hired them for one part of the event, it was clear that a successful event was their aim. When they had «down time» at the bars, they always found other ways to be useful. From maintaining a tidy bar area to bussing, this company proves that they understand events from soup to nuts and have a can-​do team attitude.
I would and plan to use them in the future! I sense that there are many more skills and talents on the prive team that I have yet to tap into!

My husband and I worked with Megan at Prive Events as the day-​of coordinator for our post-​elopement wedding celebration this spring at the Fremont Abbey, and we can’t recommend Prive highly enough. Far beyond just coordinating the day of the event, Megan met with the two of us several times in advance to make sure the day would be exactly what we wanted. We threw some curveball concerns at her (guests with the tendency to get rowdy, groomsmen with toast nerves, parents disagreeing with us, etc.) and she remained totally unfazed. Throughout the planning, we felt like she understood our vision for the day and we trusted her judgment, so when she told us something we wanted wouldn’t work (like hanging paper lanterns from the 12-​foot ceiling while standing on a shaky metal ladder), we knew it was for a good reason.
On the day of our celebration, which included a ring-​warming ceremony and reception, Megan and her assistant (Amanda, I think) took care of things that we didn’t even think of. We were damn disorganized about some things, and it only took until about 11 AM for me to make my first «oh sh*t» call to her. She took everything in stride and handled challenges behind the scenes while we were getting ready. In a rush, I threw some of the decorations into a box with no directions for what went where, and I didn’t have time to think about what happened to them for several hours. That evening, I saw the Megan had almost psychically set up things how I would have done it myself, including the photo of my late father that meant a lot to have displayed at the reception.
Plus, Megan and Amanda pushed a rolling coat rack up the long wheelchair ramp… in heels, after a freak hailstorm… so our guests could get their coats without going back downstairs. Bonus points for badassery.
Before we met Megan, my husband and I were on the fence about using a coordinator; we really wanted to do things ourselves. But working with Prive Events was one of the best decisions we made during our planning, and also some of the best money we spent. Wedding coordination WIN!

I cannot even begin to describe our experience with Prive Events… Our event coordinator was Krista. SHE IS AMAZING! We had our wedding reception at 415 Westlake in Seattle. Krista coordinated everything and brought her fabulous staff along. I didn’t have to stress about anything. The evening was a night to remember and I honestly couldn’t have pulled it off without Krista. Everything went smoothly — even our guests were impressed and noticed how well everything was put together. Before the event, she always made herself available via e-​mail and phone, (also in person) she took care of every single little detail, she even contacted ALL of my vendors.
