Pizza Pro is surprisingly awesome in a generic sort of way. At least, the pizza is sort of generic. But on the really decent side of generic – it reminds me a lot of when I was a kid and I had my own pizza oven(I would hardly eat anything else so it made sense, don’t judge me!) That pizza oven could transform a tombstone pizza from the frozen section of the grocery into something on par with delivery pizza, and Pizza Pro has a very similar consistency and flavor. The staff also has character – the gentleman behind the register will be the first to let you know he’s well known in the neighborhood and he takes pride in his business. It’s kind of nice in an off kilter way that makes you feel like you’re meeting one of the town residents on Gilmore Girls. The two slices of pepperoni I had here were hot and fresh in a way I didn’t expect from a by-the-slice establishment, and the thin crust was definitely better than most thin crust I’ve had in Seattle. This is NOT New York style. Maybe it’s New Jersey style? I don’t know exactly what to call it, but I definitely like it. I’ll be back. If you work in the Pioneer Square area or just need a quick lunch on the way through, the prices here are fair, especially if you go for the lunch special, and the food is not a disappointment.

A quick and Inexpensive lunch spot for a slice and a salad. The owner is a hoot. Good luck Pizza Pro!

It’s ok for quick pizza, a bit expensive. Really good crisp crust. Pesto a bit bland. Pepperoni was better. Busy with locals so I guess they like it. Plus side is fast and convenient. If you are outside and hungry go in! Wouldn’t go out of my way though! I consider it a bit better than average.

I’ve been here three times after my coworkers recommended it. I think the pizza is cafeteria quality ATBEST and it’s pretty annoying to have the owner constantly talking at you when you pay as he dumps on more calories to each slice. There is also a debit card minimum so you can’t order just one slice using plastic. But most importantly, the food is just sooo mediocre. The first time I went here was mid-afternoon and all the pizza’s looked like they had been sitting out for awhile. The best thing I can say about this place is that it’s not overly expensive and you can take your pizza upstairs where there’s less people to observe your shame spiral while you cry over the poor life decisions you made that led you to this place.

Good place to stop in for a quick slice. The owner is funny! He was narrating his assembling of my salad. Great selection of bottled/canned beers. The house special pizza is really good and he warms up the pizza to a perfect crisp and warmth!

The best non-gourmet pizza in town. I started going to them prior to Sounders matches a few years ago and when I started working near there recently I usually make it a point to go at least once a week. That said… The owner does have some zeal and sometimes that’s a turnoff to the drone people of Seattle. While adding extra cheese is not something I totally consider a character flaw(like other reviewers have), I get how that could be annoying. I’ve been there enough times to know this occurs. While I think he nails the meat-related pizza, the vegetable ones often don’t meld well together, but it’s pizza. The salads are not very good. Anyone serving iceberg lettuce is obviously unconcerned about a quality experience, but it’s not any worse than some house salad at a chain restaurant. The only thing I wish he’d upgrade is his process of checking folks out. I tend to go way early to avoid lines, but much of the time he waits till your order comes out of the oven to let you pay. To me it’s easier to pay quickly and get out of the way. Maybe just take my name like Mod or others do. He could serve many more folks during Sounders matches and lunch if he made some alterations.

I decided to stop by here for lunch today because it’s the only place nearby that serves pizza slices. I walked in and saw that hawaiian slices were $ 3.49, a bit expensive but I was craving pizza so I sucked it up. After ordering two slices, I saw their lunch combo #1: buy two slices and get a small drink free. Sounds good, I thought. I wasn’t planning on buying a drink but I’ll take it. At the counter an Asian man(which I assume owns the place) hands me a cup and proceeds to ring up $ 8 and change. Huh? «It should be $ 7 plus tax, right?» I said. «This is a medium drink.» He responds. «It says buy two slices get a small drink free, so I want a small drink.» I respond back. Strike #1: How dare you try to charge me for a drink without asking. The only reason I caught it is because I noticed the high price. I bet he pulls this trick on many customers who don’t keep as close an eye on the final price. He then rings me up for $ 7.98 and hands me a small cup. I hand my card over and sign the slip without much thought now that we settled the issue. Turns out I was wrong. Strike #2: I realized after signing that he still over-charged me. $ 3.49×2 = $ 6.98 before tax, $ 6.98×1.096 = $ 7.65 after tax. So he still overcharged me 33 cents. Oh well, I’m not going to make a fuss over 33 cents. So I grab my cup and go fill it up at the fountain soda machine, it foams up a bunch but I don’t worry about it cause I plan on topping it off before I leave. So I go to my table and bitterly eat my bland pizza with crust that tastes like cardboard as I realize he overcharged me. I finish my slices and get up and go top off my soda. Strike #3: As I turn around, he’s standing there asking me to pay for the refill. What? I topped it off with like 5 ounces, that costs you nothing! Fountain soda costs something like $ 0.01 per ounce! As I look back at the soda machine I see a sign that reads«refills: $ 0.50». Oops, my bad. «Sorry» I say, as I go and pour it out in the soda machine. He still wants me to pay though. What? I poured it out! No. I’m not going to pay you $ 0.50 for your lost cost of 5 ounces of fountain soda. «Sorry, I didn’t realize that refills cost extra.» I say as I walk out. «Don’t come back!» he says as I’m leaving. Don’t worry, I won’t. Your pizza is crap anyway, definitely not worth $ 3.49 per slice. I really wish some place like Wild Tiger Pizza, A Pizza Mart, Pagliacci Pizza, or Hot Mama’s Pizza would open up in this corner of downtown, so that I can go get a decent slice of pizza for a decent price for lunch, rather than being tempted to going to this horrible place ever again.

It’s cheap, but unlike the other commenters I find the owner a bit too pushy. I don’t want cheese on my pizza ever, and he dumps it on unless I forcefully tell him«No, thank you! No cheese please!!!» The pizza is good but it’s not my favorite place.

The guy that owns this place is the best. He always greets everyone with a warm welcome, and his pizza never fails me. He probably the nicest restraint owner I’ve met. The other day I walked in feeling a bit down(I’m a usual there) He noticed I seemed a little off, and he knows I love extra cheese on my pizza, so he opens the top of the cheese shaker, and poors a bunch, and says cheer up my friend nothing pizza can’t fix. What a great guy, thanks for all the awesome pizza and amazing service. best pizza in Seattle.

Surprisingly clean and welcoming atmosphere for a local pizzeria. Too often local joints are super outdated and over priced… Food itself was okay. Nothing mind blowing. The owners were very welcoming however. I wouldn’t recommend this place as the amazing pizza spot of Seattle, but they do good.

Can’t complain my salad and pizza was delicious! The real gem here is the owner. He provides such great customer service and is so welcoming. Other businesses in the area should see this guy on how to treat a customer. I was very impressed!
