Everyone know piece of mind for 2 things, their amazing glass selection, and the way the staff treats you. Most employees act like they hate it, and don’t mind letting it rub off on you. You’re working with a bunch of stoners all day, ease up a little bit. But I’m solid in ³⁄₅ stars. Wunderland in burien has a much nicer staff and I will definitely be bringing my business back to Wunderland and not a piece of mind.

First of all, this place has a no returns policy, which you don’t find out about until you’ve already bought something. Beware of what you buy.
Second, these people will straight-​up lie to sell you something. After I harangued the store clerks to answer my questions, they lied about how a certain product could be used. I only found out when I later went to two other smoke shops and both told me the truth.
When I called to say that in this case a refund was warranted — when I had been blatantly lied to about a product — the same store clerk from before tried to tell me they hadn’t lied to me, and when I insisted, told me to come in the next day to talk to her manager and hung up on me.
I have a chronic illness, so getting around in the first place is hard, and there’s no way I was making a second trip after going to this place before, when the attitude was obvious that I wasn’t getting a refund.
TL:DR, the customer service is awful (to the point of straight-​up lying to make a sale) and beware their no-​return policy. Avoid at all costs.

This place absolutely rules!!! I am writing this review from across the country so I can’t say that I’ve been here, BUT! I can say that the customer service here is out of this world, and at the end of the day that’s what matters right? They had posted something on Instagram, an item which was highly sought after and I dealt with a guy named Taylor who was amazing. Called them in the morning and he was super cool and explained that within minutes of posting the picture he was flooded with messages and kik’s and calls from people wanting this item, that he was working on a fair way to deal with the situation and took my number and said he would call me back. Which he did quite promptly and even went through the trouble of trying on a Medium for me since they were all out of larges and describing how it fit and gave me his personal cell number to text him once I had sent PayPal so he could ship it to me, he even called me when someone backed out of an XL to see if Id rather have that than the medium. I couldn’t have asked for anything more as far as customer service goes. I highly reccomend this place for anyone looking for amazing selection of heady glass and excellent above and Beyond world class customer service! Thanks Taylor! You the man!

Went in at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon making a special trip to try and find a replacement of a much beloved pipe I had broken the night before. Was acknowledged by the dude behind the counter («what’s up?»), showed him a picture of the pipe on my phone becuse it’s kind of unique and asked if they had anything like it:
«Nope»
Asked if he knew where I could find something like it:
«Nope»
Dude went back to what he was doing so I guess that was the extent of our conversation. Hey — here’s a tip, you’re actually in a store FULL of pipes so I bet you anything, if you’re the dude on deck to sell pipes that would have been an excellent opportunity to SELL ME A PIPE. I briefly looked at the shelves but was getting a heavy F.O. vibe so I left. There was exactly ONE other person in the store. I don’t really understand the bolshevik style customer service experience so I will just buy elsewhere.

A customer wants to feel welcomed at a venue, not lectured and spoke down to. Maybe the guy at the counter was having a super bad day. Still yet, no excuse for this experience. Bad taste in my mouth for this venue.

Not friendly warm or welcoming. Customer service was actually off putting. :-(Too bad, looks like they had a pretty good selection.

They have a good selection, their prices are fair and the two women who worked the counter had a good sense of humor and they were helpful.

Love coming here for all the appropriate accoutrements :)

They have an amazing selection, some really cool pieces that you won’t see anywhere else. The store is very clean and professional. The positive stops there. I am a very experienced shopper in these types of stores and have a very good sense of market prices. Piece of mind in Fremont has the worst prices that I have seen anywhere in Seattle. I have only been there once and will not be going back. I visited 2 nights ago and the girls working were very unhelpful. There was no greeting when we walked in, very difficult to get any help without also getting attitude. She seemed to think we weren’t actually going to buy anything. They offered no discounts despite spending close to 400 (those of you who frequent other shops know that this is not typical). Clearly I should have read the reviews before going, I will definitely try the u dist. store, people seem to have better luck there.

Whenever I see a one star rating I think «come on. It couldn’t have been that bad». Sorry to say, it can. FYI — I’m a reasonable, responsible, middle aged, working guy, who until a week ago, hadn’t made a paraphernalia purchase in 30 + years. But in that time I’ve also run a business and know the meaning of customer service. In my opinion, P of M dealt with me in an unethical manner and if my review steers even just one potential customer away perhaps P of M will learn something about running a retail business.
Simple story. A week ago I purchased a $ 250 vaporizer from P of M. At the time, the salesperson mentioned a $ 40 attachment that might be useful. I decided to hold off on the attachment and just buy the vaporizer. (Vapor Brothers — 5 stars!). A couple days later I returned to purchase the attachment. A different salesperson helped me and rang it up. Well, once home it took 5 seconds to discover the attachment didn’t fit. A couple days later I brought the unused attachment back for a refund. I started telling my story to the store manager when she cut me off to complete my sentence with «Yeah. That part won’t fit on that vaporizer.» I’m thinking «great, she’s obviously encountered this problem before and this will be an easy refund.» Then she says, «we don’t give refunds. But you can have store credit.» Great, what am I supposed to do with a $ 40 credit? I just bought everything I’ll need until long past these guys are out of business.
What did I learn? P of M is manned by sales people of varying degrees of knowledge about their products. If the manager had been there on either of my first two visits, the $ 40 would be in my account rather than theirs. But since I happened to visit on 2 other occasions with 2 less knowledgable salespeople manning the counters, I’m out $ 40 while P of M is absolved of any responsibility to hold their salespeople to account. In my book, that’s theft.
I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve felt a business has reached into my pocket and walked off with my cash. This is one of them. Why, in this age of sites like Unilocal,does any business still think it’s more profitable to take the fast cash rather than build a good reputation within the community? Hey, P of M, anytime you decide to do the right thing and give a full refund for an error on your part, I’ll gladly return the store credit.
PS. Being a reasonable guy, if not for the miserable service described above, I wouldn’t even have mentioned the varying levels of pure attitude all three salespeople displayed. Sad to see the MJM community treated this way. It’s a world apart from the atmosphere and service at the MJM dispensary just a few doors down.

Another head shop with an okay selection with high prices. They never have any sales or cash specials like other places around town. Not really interested in their special of posting a good review on Unilocal and getting 10% off either. Still want a way to see prices on the «waterpipes» in head shops.

Great store, interesting artistic and regular glass items and excellent service. The person we talked to was really helpful and immediately found us what we were looking for. She was very knowledgeable about her products and friendly. Good quality stuff too. We would definitely go back.

I’m torn. The Queen Anne location just got ripped down and it was hella close, but this place is great too… just a longer drive.

Although this place has occasional problems with attitude, I’ve found the management to be extremely concerned with customer service. For the most part, bad encounters are few and far between. When you do have a complaint, they do listen.
I like the stores in Fremont and Queen Anne. They have a very nice selection in a wide range of prices to fit every budget. I’ve never had a problem parking in either location. Definitely helpful.

Sweet shop! Nice mural! Wow! I bet they’re stoners! No shit! Too bad these guys are pretty much just assholes. Knowledgeable staff with terrible attitudes. They don’t care that you’re in their store, heck, they’d probably prefer that you left so that they can get back to listening to their tunes in piece (get it?!?). Everything here is amazingly overpriced, kinda reminds me of the tourist trap headshops that you’d find in Pike Market, but higher class. I’d recommend Sam’s over Piece of Mind any and every day of the week. Go check it out and see if you find something you like that you can actually afford. Very nice custom glass here, but like I said, horrendously expensive and served up with a rather un-​blunted attitude. Screw that.

All the «water pipe» stems start at 25 bucks and go up to around 50
went to a hole in the wall and got the exact same generic bowl they wanted 25 bucks for a measly 8 bucks.
Also EVERY time I go into piece of mind I have to wait 10 minutes while they shoot the shit and blatantly ignore me

I’ve seen some head shops in my day and for selection, this place is great. Service? Not so much. I’ve been in here many times before and have received decent, definitely not great, service. Today I went in and with 4 other people waiting there (looked like 2 vendors and 2 customers beside me), the guy behind the counter continued his personal phone conversation. I highly doubt this kid was the proprietor of this establishment and if s/​he were in there, this kid would have been canned on-​the-​spot. I initially assumed that he was talking to a client or vendor and was working for the shop — as soon as I heard him cuss and talk about «finding another place to live» I realized he was talking to his buddy. Come on, in this day and age, people, especially in retail, should be much more customer oriented. Shame on the owners for hiring such flakes.

I got a pollen box here for pretty cheap. They were marked 30% off in a sign in the display box, and although the sale was over, because the sign was still there, I got the sale price. The guy I talked to was knowledgeable and advised us on the pros and cons of the particular types of boxes that they carry.
Star off because the place is big but the selection is only okay, with a lot of the cheap Indian glass stuff that I won’t touch. Plus, a lot of the pieces seemed more gimmicky than useful.
