They have a great option for doing a combo with tea and phở. Definitely go for that option because it’s cheaper. The actual phở is okay– not amazing as I was expecting. I got the chicken phở and the chicken was dry. I ended up finding a bone in it which I wasn’t happy about. My friend got the beef phở and the broth in that was amazing. The chicken phở is a hit or a miss. They have an excellent variety of different teas so definitely recommend this place for that. I got the Thai milk tea with the honey bobas and it was a bit too sweet. The fruit smoothies are amazing!

My friend and I found two pieces of plastic in the Phở… We also ordered bubble tea but it never came. It was our first time here so I was disappointed. However, the lady was nice. She apologized when we told her and gave us the bubble tea for free.

This place has always been great! They just had a remodel and the place looks great! Janzen tea company joined them and the teas are full and plentiful! I have always loved this place because of the late hours and the familiar staff

This is my spot. Love this place! I mean this literally – it’s the only phở spot at which I eat phở. Yeah, I’m super particular like that. What I love most is that they have chicken broth along with the traditional beef broth. Most places only have a beef broth, but I don’t eat beef. And no you may not serve me vegetables in a beef broth. The chicken broth is perfect. Other spots make it too sweet or gingery, and I absolutely hate an abundance of either of those two in my phở. Parking can be hard to find in this area, but I can deal with driving around for a few minutes if I get to consume this wonderful delight. Check them out.

Went in during the busy weekday lunch rush and the service was pretty good. I ordered a large Phở Dac Biet(all the meats) with beef meat balls added to it. The food came out pretty quick and I was served pretty well. Food-wise, it was standard. The vegetables like the basil and bean sprouts on the side were fresh as well as the onions in the bowl. Great color on them. Upon looking at the broth, I could already tell that the beef broth had the oily fat still intact. This can sound either good or bad depending on your perspective since it’s considered to be more«authentic» with the fat. I prefer the broth to have the oily fat skimmed off. The broth seemed diluted a bit and didn’t really taste like much until I got to the bottom of the bowl where most of the flavor was located. The flank meat could have been cut better seeing how I would have these large sliced pieces of meat that would need to clump together to eat. I was happy to get my phở fix and although it wasn’t impressive, it did enough to satisfy the craving. Go if you’re not too picky about your phở.

Not my favorite phở spot but the phở is okay if you gotta. They’ve upgraded the interior and service is always fast and they’re always nice. Nothing to complain about but nothing to write home to either.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had a terrible experience here. Probably the worst I’ve ever had eating out. The lady/owner was so rude to me. We had a BOGO for 99 cent bubble tea and the description on the email clearly said for teas and smoothies and she said that the email was wrong and did not honor it in such a rude manner and gave me a lot of attitude. She ruined dinner for me and my friends and just had terrible service. She did not care what so ever about our experience and even got our orders wrong. My friend asks for lychee jelly and the lady gave her pineapple which she was allergic to and of course the lady didn’t think she was at fault. The food is below average. Plenty of better and cleaner places out there. Never going back again and hope the owner and management changes. Worst restaurant experience ever. This place makes me never want to eat out again. If you want bad service and bad food then come here.

Still shoddy quality for even more money now! Its close by but I definitely do not go for Phở as much any longer, Phở shouldn’t cost 995 for a large and 895 for a medium, I leave hungry even with a medium. I go home and put lime and basil in a ramen with some sukiyaki beef for my phở fix now.

Phở Hoa has become my lunch-time happy place. The service is always quick, they have the best Phở in town and I’m always greeted with a smile.

Customer service is pretty good, however ever since this place has been under new management the phở has gone down hill. I used to love coming here for the phở but it doesn’t taste like what it used to taste like. I’m a very simple person when it comes to phở, i don’t like to add any sauce, lemon, or any other spices. However it was so bland I poured in half a bottle of Siracha, squeezed in at least half a lemon and it was still quite disappointing. On top of that the noodle to meat ratio is disappointingly off. My phở looked so sad with barely any meat in it. I was super excited to find out that they had Jazen tea here, I wanted so badly to like it more than I did but it was just okay. I had the lychee explosion, the tea tasted pretty good but the lychee bits were so chopped up it tasted weird.

Ate here since 1993. They are consistent. Do ask for steam beansprouts, green onion and extra fat. You may need more fish sauce if you want jt to be savory! Don’t you add sriracha to ruin the authentic taste.

Okay let me direct to the point for this restaurant. First, employee was good because they gave the right food that we ordered, but one thing they need to improve give a water all the time. Some people are finish their water quickly. Second, the place was clean inside that I didn’t expect because outside was not clean. Third, they need add more fan or open the AC if they have because it’s kinda hot when you eat soup especially summer. Overall is fine like food is great and I might come back again.

I wanted to give this old favorite four stars, but I noticed some health code violations that need to be addressed. There is food stored on the floor that needs dunnage– food needs to be 6 inches off the floor. These cans of food are moved to the countertop and opened without being sanitized– a quick wipe will do. I recommend adding shelves to your prep tables to store the goods. Employees handle money and bus dirty dishes and then serve food without washing hands. Not once was the hand sink used, or a sanitizing cloth for that matter. Training is needed. Lastly, there is a missing ceiling tile above a food prep surface. This is unsanitary, please fix it. That said, your food is delicious and your service prompt and friendly. Deal with the details, and I will happily change my review. You are one of the very best Phở joints in town– better than Than Bros by far,(since Greenlake closed) and maybe the best broth in the ID… even if you ARE a chain store. :) Recommended, with reservations.

My go-to Phở shop. Everything you would expect is there. The freshness of the phở, basil, and bean sprout. The pepper and lemon. Of course the piping and rich broth. There is really not much else to ask for. If you are craving Phở, this is it.

I came here at around 10:30 and there was still a lot of people in the restaurant and while I was eating there was still people coming and going even though the store closed at 10:30. The place is clean looking, and very spacious. I ordered the small phở tai bo vien and it was very filling even though there was hella tai and barely any bo vien :(I also ordered the Jazen tea bc everyone is raving about it. I was very disappointed bc I was expecting a WOW factor but it tasted like any other jasmine milk tea I would get from any bubble tea place. The only thing that’s different is the packaging of the drink and there’s ice floating on the very top(I thought it was like lychee jelly or something at first lol) but I would definitely come here again to try the other flavors! The service was very fast and the staff were very nice and patient even though it was past closing hours.

Pretty good to come here for a quick bite of phở. They are open pretty late so it’s convenient. Food is decent and I would be a repeat customer.

We waited about 20 minutes before getting waters, and another 10 before someone approached is about ordering. It was hardly crowded and my lunch-mates and I were a bit annoyed as we tried signaling someone a few times. But c’est la vie, good food is worth waiting for, and I was hungry and eager to dig into some phở! The broth was greasy, thin, and sort of flavorless. The meat was good(I had meatballs and flank) but overall it was something I ate because it was there, not because it was particularly enjoyable. I’ll bump it up to 3 because the avocado smoothie, while small, was not overly sweet and tasted strongly of avocado. Skip.

This is one of my favorite phở spot. PROS: The restaurant is pretty spacious and clean. Service was friendly, quick and attentive. The broth is usually very good & flavorful(not overpowering with star anise). The noodles are always cooked right, not soggy or over cooked. I love that the broth stays hot. Many phở restaurants that I’ve been to the broth tends to cool down a few minutes after serving it. I always ask for extra basil and cilantro and they always deliver with a smile. The well done brisket is very tender and they always give a generous amount. CONS: The meatballs aren’t the best that i had(Phở Bac has the best meatball). Their prices have recently gone up. It is a little bit more expensive than other phở restaurants around that area. Parking can be hard to find but it is Chinatown.

I would say Phở Hoa gets the job done, but it’s not great or super bad either. It’s .mediocre. But any late night phở craving is easily satisified here. One issue I had with Phở Hoa was the immediate thirst I felt after. The msg or salt was overwhelming afterwards, to the point where I had to run to the nearest milk tea place to find something to drink.
