This on-campus Pagliacci’s is located in Local Point in Lander Hall.(Disclaimer: this isn’t the same as the one on 45th on the Ave.) Unsurprisingly it’s one of the most popular places to eat for students. One, it’s pizza. Two, it’s cheap. Three, it’s fast. The pizza itself is pretty much what you would expect from a pizza place located in and run by the UW. What I mean by that is it’s just a small step above high school cafeteria pizza. They serve primarily thin crust-style slices with all the familiar toppings, with a few«special» toppings that change day to day. I haven’t tried the one on the ave, but the pizza at this location does taste cheap; it’s not always freshly baked, and there are times where they have to take your order and re-heat it for you before you buy it. They also have hand-tossed salad, which a few of my friends have gotten, and it looks pretty decent, but also, nothing out of the ordinary. There are other niche items but almost everyone comes here for the pizza. Overall, Pagliacci Pizza has mediocre food served cheaply and quickly, which sadly, pretty much falls in line with almost every restaurant at the UW.
