The No Bones tiki bar is top notch vegan food with all the comfort and none of the junk food guilt. Casual but comfortable with a welcoming island theme. Really loved the Taro Sando sandwich — great fresh and savory crisp. The jackfruit flautus stood out. Enjoyed the ginger beer and the dessert. Looking forward to trying the vegan poké. We will be back again and again.

Vegan food truck? Yes, please! I have eaten at No Bones About It two or three times now and I have never been disappointed. If you want fresh vegan fare usually parked at a bar, this is the place for you. I’ve taken non vegans and they enjoyed the food. No Bones About It doesn’t have a huge menu but what they offer will satisfy. The seitan wrap is enormous, full of seitan and veggies and comes with a dipping sauce. The beer battered taco avocados are buttery, crunchy, and contain so much goodness. Need a side? No problem. Salad, slaw, avacado fries, and Tim’s Cascade Chips are all for the buying. If you are vegan or not this place is a must visit. The food is on point and the staff is friendly to boot but you are doing good for the animals.

The nachos are my favorite! I also love the deep fried avocado tacos. Update: NOBONESOPENED A RESTAURANT! Now I can get a fancy cocktail with my nachos! The space has tasteful beach-like décor, a great bar, and lots of seating. I love that I can bring my family there for dinner or have drinks with friends. I have been twice and had no problem finding street parking nearby. I am looking forward to trying out their weekend brunch. Yay! Ballard needed this all vegan spot!

Great menu, great location, great vibe, great food. Friendly staff was very accommodating when i made a special request. Brown Sugar Baking provides them with delightful vegan, gluten-free noms… i got a brownie and practically licked the container clean.

Omg the nachos. These vegan nachos are so delicious and good for you. Even the quaso is 100% vegan. So good. Don’t forget about the off menu avocado fries — yummers!!!

Portland is known as a town of food trucks. By sheer number, daily turnover and proliferation, and visibility, this is certainly true. I would, however, sail 99% of the carts in Portland up the river just to have a No Bones About It near my home. The seitan wrap was UNBELIEVABLE. I’m not going to attempt adjectives here, just eat it. My friend got the avocado tacos, which were also good. A barkeep at Popluxe, where the cart is on Thursdays, was eating the buffalo cauliflower. It looked delicious, and I for a moment regretted my wrap choice(until I tasted the thing). One of the best vegan establishments I’ve eaten at.

YUM! We’ve had the pleasure of eating here a number of times — luckily they are usually at one of our local breweries on Thursday evenings. As vegetarians, we are thrilled that there is a food truck serving up super tasty vegan fare. We’ve had the avocado tacos, phoenix wrap, bahn-dot-com, and one of their sandwiches offered as a special — ALL were delicious. And these ladies are nice. I mean — super duper friendly nice. AND they donate a portion of their proceeds to an animal charity every month. We LOVE that! Seriously, you can’t go wrong eating here.

dudes I’m not vegetarian or vegan but I was visiting from the east coast went to their food truck and it was the BOMBBBdotCOM, not only are the ladies on the truck super nice and rad the food is amazing. I got the avocado tacos and the cauliflower wings. it was definitely a beautiful clean full that I haven’t experienced in a while plus the presentation was awesome and everything is environmentally friendly but then again I think errbody in Seattle is environmentally friends. Kinda highly considering converting only to be the bones crew #1 customer.

No Bones About It was one of the food trucks at the«Clips Beer & Film Tour» and I had the opportunity to try the nachos — delicious! I would love to try the other items on the menu and hope they stop in the Bellevue downtown area soon. Really liked the concept of a vegan-only menu and all the items sound delicious.
I had the pleasure of eating the Avocado Tacos at the truck while they visited Kenmore. I will be a regular if the continue to make it to Kenmore… The staff couldn’t have been more excited and positive.

Wow, I didn’t realize vegan food could be this good. Kenmore has been doing a test run of inviting great food trucks to the city and while this was my first one I’ve tried, they clearly have good taste. I had the Beer Battered Avocado Tacos and they were fantastic. I was worried they wouldn’t be filling, but these things were overflowing with it. Two large fried avocado pieces per taco and a ton of slaw, sauce, and cabbage, with an optional side of salsa. I had a few bites with the salsa, but preferred not having it as it took away from the savory flavor of the taco. It was like putting ketchup on a really good steak. Overall, it all felt healthy and hearty. I really hope this truck comes out to Kenmore weekly as they’ve earned themselves a regular if they do.

Tastyrific! I would definitely eat here again and my vegan friend would be so happy about it. I had the (Bahn mi) and it was perfection. Great bread, tofu cooked perfectly and had great flavor, spicy with the jalapeños and aoli. Carrots are crisp and cooling against the hot sauces. Grabbed some tims chips as a side, because duh.

No Bones About is #winning. I have a 2 part review. First, my review at the truck, and second, my review of the catering. (1) I visited the truck and it was amazing! The avocado taco’s were bomb. This food taste like that amazing stuff you eat when you are drunk at 2am… but it’s not 2am. Basically, this stuff shows up and stands up. Tasted amazing. (2) The catering was flawless. We ordered box lunches for our upscale office in Bellevue and for clients all over seattle and they delivered on time, and in nice clean boxes, making the process an ease. Their prices are also very reasonable. I can order vegan meals for staff/clients and do it in the name of «cost» to ease their hesitancy to my «vegan» option. But let’s be honest… society pushes meat, dairy, and unethical stuff on me and everyone else every day of our lives… time to push back. So there you have it, they have great food truck service & catering service. An on top of that they stand for good causes with profit donations. This place has character. I’m sold.

I try to eat vegan/or vegetarian for lunch and it’s not always easy because I work miles from any malls or restaurants. So if I forget to bring my lunch it can be a drag. This truck is like a veggie oasis. I often don’t like veggie meals at food trucks because they either cover everything with fat or have flavorless grains and boring veggies. Not these ladies. The Seitan wrap with buffalo sauce and cabbage(I think they were calling it the Phoenix the day I ordered it) was delicious and very filling. They’re a cool looking truck with a great logo and a badass female crew. They also donate some of their proceeds to various animal rights and rescue organizations which is way cool.

I won a lunch from No Bones and so my husband ordered another so we could split them and try a couple of things. We work from home so I said I could meet them at the business they were going to be at, but they werent on the truck that day and brought it right to our door! We had the noodles and the salad and it was so delicious! We were amazed by all the flavors bursting from that food! The portions were LARGE and nicely packed. We will definitely be following this truck everywhere! I so appreciate a vegan truck and one that has GF options too! Thanks No Bones About It!

My friend told me about this vegan food truck and how glorious it was so I had to check it for myself. Currently, their food truck is down and under repairs but they are still up & running and will deliver the food out to you. There are some parameters when ordering delivery online, so check their website or that Facebook. They have a small menu but everything they offer looks great. I opted to get the grilled tempeh wrap(tasted like a chicken wrap)…it was delicious with fresh ingredients and their sauce was fabulous! My friend got the seitan farfalle pasta bowl… I should’ve gotten that, I got a quick bite and dang was it tasty! Very meaty and flavorful. Both items were satisfying and had plenty of sustenance for a nice healthy lunch. They offer some sweet treats from Violet Sweet Shoppe and we had their choco chip cookie… delicious! Overall, I would totally order again and will keep an eye out for when their food truck hit the streets again! Great logo and cool name for a food truck!

«No Bones About It — Vegan Food Truck» — their name says it all — or does it? Ok, if I can implore you to, *please* — forget about the vegan part… just … just play along and trust me on this… you and I go way back so you know I wouldn’t steer you wrong. This is .well what it is … is… COMFORTFOOD, plain and simple! Their nachos are sensational — with the cheese all drippy and and loaded with yummy fixin’s like tomatoes and black olives — that option is just THAT dang good. Pardon me here but … no bones about it! Beer battered crispy fried avocado — seriously?!? I mean like WHO does that? No Bones does it — that’s who, and they do it oooooh so frickin’ well !! The slight crunch of the batter in contrast to the sweet«meat» of the avocado wrapped in tortilla goodness. and gluten free. While you certainly can eat this as «stand and go» food, you’d best be sitting to well handle the slight tremble in the knees and your mouth adjusts to the heavenly flavor combinations. Last, but certainly not least on my tasting itinerary was buffalo seitan w/ranch. Stand back and center yourself before digging in because you will taste this treat to your core. The seitan is tender yet oh so firm, smothered in their delicious hot sauce(you’ll need the creamy ranch dressing to help soothe). wrapped in a scrumptious grilled wrap, yes I said grilled… So as I said earlier, this is COMFORTFOOD, plain and simple. It happens to be suitable for vegans — so be it… you don’t have to be vegan to be suitable to dive in. What are you waiting for???

This seems to be a fairly new food truck. They seem to be regulars at Populuxe on Thursday evenings, and also at Trupanion on Friday during the lunch hour. I’ve also seen them post about appearances at Violet Sweet Shoppe near U Village. Check their Facebook page for location — it seems to be the most frequently updated and reliable source until their website gets up and running. As a brewery fan, I like their partnership with Populuxe, and the beers go well with their fare. They park in the courtyard area. BF and I split the fried avocado sandwich and the coconut buffalo seitan wrap. I was a big fan of the tacos, I really liked the aioli they put on there. The wrap was tasty as well… the sauce was good and the grilled tortilla shell was really yummy. Those seem to be a couple of their«staple» items, but they also have a menu of specials which look equally tasty. On the day we visited the special was a tofu banh mi. They also have a soup of the day which seems to change often, and on the day we went there was a tasty looking plate of nachos listed on the specials as well. Also worth mentioning is that they have a «Non Profit of the Month» which they donate a portion of their profits to. This month it’s PAWS(Progressive Animal Welfare Society). Next month it’s the Humane League of Seattle, and December will be the Seattle Humane Society. I’d come back here for sure!
