I’ve been seeing Alex Solleck for a variety of issues, including sleeplessness, headaches, backache, shoulder ache — you name it — since late 2012. She was introduced to me by a mutual friend, after he had suffered lower back pain for weeks and could barely drive a car or sit still. After one session with Alex, his back pain miraculously disappeared.
Even though I’m Chinese and travel frequently to China, my first acupuncture experience was with Alex Solleck. Alex is well-​practiced in a variety of massage, acupuncture techniques and is also knowledgeable about how to maintain physical well-​being from a Chinese standpoint (ie. Knowing the body is made up of «hot» and «cold» and certain foods will affect the equilibrium of the body.) She’ll tell me all the things that my Chinese mother tells me to do, but from Alex it sounds like «advice from a professional», rather than constant «harping».
Just yesterday, I went in to see Alex with mild back pain and walked out pain-​free. I didn’t expect the pain to go away at all (I’m quite a skeptic) — but within our 1 hour session, I was pain free. Wow!
Alex does take insurance, I believe, and takes a very long time to listen to your body issues, making sure that she addresses the issue properly.
One thing about acupuncture, if you’ve never had it before — it can be a little «nervy» and painful for some people. It’s not as happy and free as a massage. But for those who are adventurous, the results are well worthwhile.

Alex at Nectar is as good as it gets. I was having some regular neck pain and Alex listened to my issues and treated my problem. Her office is very comfortable and calm yet very professional. I would recommend Alex to anyone.

Im a serial massage therapy client and have had many masseus’ in my recent years but none of them have provided as thorough a service, nor as good a massage as Alex. She takes the time to truly listen to what is going on and discusses ways to treat the issue once you leave her office. But the best part is how she can identify which muscles need the help and how to sooth them. I leave feeling so refreshed every time! Thank you Alex!
