**Please note– the afternoon dog park group has space for just 1 more dog and has a minimum of 2 days per week. The morning group is currently full**

As an experienced dog walker, I specialize in dog park trips with dogs from the Capitol Hill, Madison Park, Montlake, Central District, and Ravenna/​Sandpoint areas. I do off-​leash walks at Magnuson Park in the late morning for small dogs only and in the afternoon for dogs of all sizes.

We are licensed, bonded & insured.

Dog walks are 1 full hour and we go to the dog park for off-​leash mega fun. I understand that each dog is special and will put him/​her in a group that fits their needs.

History

Established in 2010.

I have been professionally walking dogs for 4 years. I also was pet sitting up until recently, so I have been living and breathing dogs and cats 24⁄7 for the past 4 years. As of Nov. 2012 I am taking a step back from pet sitting to spend more time with my own dog & my partner. I am still doing two dog park runs each day though!

I love animals and have been a proud dog and cat owner all my life. I’m very experienced with large dogs as my family had a Mastiff, a Newfoundland, and a Bernese Mountain Dog as I was growing up. I also am almost deliriously happy when I see a pug and had a deaf black pug that lived to be 14.

I strongly believe in positive reinforcement, cuddling, toys, off-​leash walks whenever possible, putting the top down so that the wind can blow through our hair, and lots of yummy and little treats. I truly understand how much your pets mean to you and i want to become a part of your lives. I also know that you didn’t get in to pet ownership to go completely bankrupt, so my prices are quite reasonable.

She is everything your pups could want and more. She has also been incredibly flexible which I need due to a rotating schedule.

Karyn is amazing and I can honestly say she has changed my life… I can now TRAVEL! My pets are my children and I can not imagine leaving them with just anybody! Moochy Poochy is AMAZING you could not ask for a better pet sitter! Karyn has a way with your animals compassionate and kind… I hate to inform you but your fur friends will be so excited to see her they will not even look back at you… I almost was hesitant to write this afraid all of her time slots will fill up! However I know how hard it is to find a phenomenal pet sitter so I need to spread the gospel! I love how Moses and Ruth are just exhausted after a day with Karyn. if only little Mustapha could join in!

I have a hyper dog and she is worn out when I get home. she is very accommodating and tries to be available to you when you need help with your dog. One day I got called into work, realized I had to stay late at work, called her that day and she walked my dog no problem same day.
very professional. she plays fetch with my dog at the dog park unlike most dog walkers, who sit on the bench and let the dogs run around.

I ran across Karyn through a random craigslist search. I was living in a new city, leaving town for the weekend, broke, and own very skittish dog with no where to go. I picked Karyn for the mere fact that she was the least expensive. I should mention I was extremely broke.
But upon meeting her I realized not only is she inexpensive but awesome with animals. My dog who really does not take much to strangers immediately fell in love with her. Prancing around the apartment, playing, licking, doing all the things a normal dog does.
After settling down in the city I immediately hired Karyn on a permanent basis. I am confident in her abilities and commend her dedication to animals. I have not heard any complaints from my dog, who is actually quite vocal when she disapproves.

Karyn has been walking my puppy, Beckett, who is just over 5 months old, since January. She has taken exceptional care with him. She has been particularly attentive to keeping him on a schedule to help reinforce his toileting, his socialization with other dogs, and his leash walking habits. One of the things I struggled with in making the decision to get a dog was that long day at home while I went off to work. But with Karyn taking him for his mid-​day break; I know Beckett gets loving attention, exercise, fun and stimulation. I love that she brings other dogs for Beckett to walk and play with, so he gets in a little social time with other animals during the day too. She is on time, incredibly flexible and I have no question that she has my pup’s best interest in mind.

Karyn is supremely responsible and considerate. I have a 3 year old Rottweiler Bella and 7 year old cat Mio (pictured). I would not be able to have my job and my Bella without Karyn. I travel occasionally for work, on short notice, for varied lengths of time and I could always count on Karyn to walk her daily.
On a normal day Karyn would drive over to my house, pick up my big girl and take her to Baker Beach or Golden Gate Park. When I came home from work I got to enjoy an exercised puppy and less stress because I didn’t need to immediately take her out for a long run. I felt completely secure with Karyn, in my home and with my special big girl.
When I travel internationaly Karyn was happy to take over feeding Mio as well, how handy was that!?!
She was the best dog walker and pet sitter I could have asked for and Seattle is lucky to have her.

Karyn is a true animal lover and was great with my dog Mr. Bean. When Karyn started watching him he was old and not in very good health, she was patient with him and did not have a problem giving him his rationed treats and medicine each day. She made me feel like she looked forward to seeing him and not that he was an older less fun dog. When I get my next dog I will absolutely use Karyn again!

My love of traveling wouldn’t seem as fun if I didn’t have peace of mind that my 11 year old lab/​weimaraner mix Cowboy wasn’t in the best of hands. Luckily for him (and me!) Karyn has been there the past couple of years to provide the best dog sitting services around.
She has such a compassion and love for animals and I know Cowboy was always treated like royalty in her care– sometimes I think he didn’t want to come back home! He got plenty of walks and I know he especially loved his time in the park, where Karyn would frequently take him.
Karyn was great with all of his dietary needs and never complained about my long list of instructions. It got to the point where she didn’t even need my list anymore because it was like Cowboy was one of her own when I dropped him off. I’d recommend Moochy Poochy in a pinch– you won’t find a more capable and awesome dog sitter for the ones that mean the most to you.
