At Monster Hands Music lessons aren’t in a practice room, but in a studio with tons of professional gear. Learn to play on top quality instruments including Moog synthesizers, Yamaha pianos, Roland V-Drums and much more. All students who are prepared for lessons are encouraged to record their work for everyone to enjoy.
Students of all ages can study Piano, Bass, Drums, Guitar, Voice or Saxophone with multi-talented instrumentalist Patrick Fitzgerald, a professional musician and producer with years of teaching, performing and recording experience.
By Incorporating Ear Training, Music Theory, Improvisation, Note Reading, Composition and Music History, students become well rounded musicians. Learn how Math and Science balance with the Creative Arts and develop your own unique voice.
Students are also encouraged to branch out from their primary instrument and try others in the studio. With a little bit of Music Theory knowledge you can figure out pretty much any instrument. It’s all a marvelous puzzle and aspiring players of all ages can learn to put the pieces together.
Monster Hands Music is a small operation so you’ll not have to deal with other lessons going on or any other inconvenient noise. Students and their families are always welcome in the lounge. Come in for an introductory lesson and see why Monster Hands Music has the best lessons in Seattle — Hands Down!

Business Owner
I’m Patrick and as long as I can remember I’ve been singing and banging around. My family is very musical, I was taught to sing by my mother and to play piano by my father who is a concert pianist. As a child they played me a diverse variety of music and took me to hear many great artists play, and they are my two biggest musical influences. I started gigging at 17 in Philly, and made a name for myself in New York City by hauling a 250lb Hammond Organ & Leslie speaker combo to every audition. I got every gig I auditioned for, perhaps because nobody had the heart to reject me after I parallel parked a jeep and a trailer in midtown manhattan and unloaded 400lbs of gear for a 2 hour session. The Hammond, Leslie and I got our first tour gig back in 2004 and we’ve covered a good bit of ground. I’ve played lots of great rooms and recorded in famous studios, and I’m stoked to be in Seattle with great studio. I bring the same over-the-top spirit to my lessons, they’re the best in town!
