Michael is a wonderful person and great agent. He helped us sell our condo in Ballard and was very knowledgeable about the market conditions as well as the surrounding area. We decided together on the ‘right’ price and ended up getting three offers the first day it listed on MLS with our accepted offer over asking price! His professional demeanor and calm efficient manner took all the stress out of selling our property. We would strongly recommend Michael without any reservations.

Michael demonstrated expertise at every stage of my home buying process. When we did viewings, Michael had an astute understanding of neighborhoods and homes. Inside homes, I was constantly learning as Michael pointed out technical home construction details that I would not have noticed with every new room we entered. When it came time to make an offer, I was able to make a winning bid when there was a second offer thanks to Michael’s strategic judgment, and ultimately my bid was $ 5K below the appraisal price. After the inspection, Michael was the commanding agent in negotiations and succeeded in getting the seller to agree to all of the inspection items that Michael thought we could get and even some items that he did not think we could get. Ultimately Michael said it was the longest post-​inspection process he has ever been through, although we still managed to close with minimal delay (under 1 week) after our original closing date, which was a large accomplishment considering the many inspection items that the seller needed to address. Overall I could not be more pleased with Michael’s expertise, and will not hesitate to recommend him in the future, just as my brother recommended Michael to me, and my brother’s mother-​in-​law recommended Michael to my brother.
In addition to being extremely capable, Michael was very pleasant to work with. He is generally affable, but is not a «Yes» man. While I ultimately have him to credit for our progress through each stage of the process, I am equally grateful for the times he would recommend against viewing a house or would be honest with me if he thought I was asking something of the seller that we could not get. That quality was very beneficial.

My fiancé and I got serious about buying a house a few months ago and were referred to Michael by a friend. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. His attention to detail for understanding what we wanted really helped us navigate the Seattle housing market. Michael patiently took us through the different types of homes available, styles, areas, and asked us precision questions to really understand what we wanted from a home. When I went into this I originally thought I wanted a large yard. Thanks to his questions, I discovered that what my fiancé and I really wanted was a small, easy to maintain, outdoor patio area great for hosting friends and family. Without him I would probably be spending several hours a week managing a yard.
Michael is also very knowledgeable about the quality of finishes used, the quality of homes produced /​flipped by various developers, and areas to be cautious that could cost you a lot down the road (like electrical wiring in a 1950s era home). One of my favorite qualities of Michael is his frankness when discussing a house. This helped me very clearly compare and contrast the options on the market and help my fiancé and I make the right call on our purchase. He is truly motivated to help his clients find the best home for them.

Michael did such a great job for us. We had a very challenging list of 34 complex desires for our new home. He found us a home that met all 34 items on our list. It really was like he found us the home we would have built for ourselves. He followed up on all loose ends, even after we closed. He was polite, patient, and friendly throughout the process. His real-​estate advice has been useful to me through the years and I am deeply grateful. Michael really is a wonderful agent. I could not recommend him more highly.

I was very fortunate to be referred to Michael by my previous landlord who had Michael as her buyer’s agent when she bought her condo in Seattle. My previous landlord was very pleased with Michael’s professionalism that she ended up introducing two of her tenants (one of them was me) to Michael when she found out that her tenants were looking to buy (and both of us, on separate occasions, actually ended up buying our own places from Michael!).
I didn’t know much about real estate before and was just looking at first to purchase a 2 BR condo in Seattle as a first-​time homeowner. Through weeks of seeing/​looking at soooo many different places with Michael (condo/​town homes, etc), I ended up learning more about the adv/​disadvantages of owning a condo. Michael did not pressure me into buying anything fast at all. In fact, he even suggested that I really take the time to think and look through all the places until I found THE place that I love. One of his clients that I met took even 6+ months before they decided on/​bought their place. To my surprise, I also ended up changing my mind and finding a home (not a condo that I originally was looking) that I love (and still love!) and actually decided purchase my current home within a day of seeing! I’m so glad I found Michael because my home was in such a high demand that if I didn’t know about it through Michael, I probably wouldn’t own my current home now (as it didn’t even make it to listing at all).
Michael has extensive knowledge of condo and real estate markets in Seattle. He will take the time to listen to your concerns/​requirements (i.e. not pushy at all!), will guide and tell you all about things you need to know, and will make you feel comfortable with the processes. Michael takes his works seriously and is very responsive to any questions/​comments/​communications I sent to him. He is also a great people’s person, very good at reading people and will share information and fight for his clients to get the best deals.

My husband and I are first time home buyers and we had a fantastic experience working with Michael! I worked with Michael on buying my first condo, and while he’s the only realtor I’ve worked with I’m definitely happy with my decision. Michael did a great job of understanding exactly what type of property I was looking for. He took me on numerous walking /​driving tours of properties in different neighborhoods and did a great job of pointing out pros and cons for each and helping me get a good feel for what was available in the Seattle market. He was also not pushy at all and really let me make up my own mind about what was good or bad, which was much appreciated.

Obviously he’s a great person to work with if you’re looking for condos, but while working with him it became pretty evident that he’s extremely knowledgeable about all types of property in the area, where it’s houses, townhomes, short sales or anything else. Overall I’m glad I worked with Michael and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for housing in the Seattle area.
