I am primarily a Shamanic Practitioner, and my acupuncture incorporates forms of healing work derived from shamanism, in that way I am not a traditional acupuncturist. My specialty can be summarized as «soul healing» through a variety of means including acupuncture and other forms of energy work.

I also do forms of shamanic healing called soul retrievals and house and business blessings.

I have a science background as well, I studied neurobiology as both an undergraduate and graduate student. I currently teach classes on where science and spirituality overlap, and on simple techniques to enhance states of consciousness.

My love for the natural world led me to pursue the study of neurobiology as both an undergraduate and graduate student. I graduated magnum cum laude in Neuroscience from Oberlin College, and received a Masters degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from the University of Washington.

Then I attended the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine, graduated in 2005 with an MAcOM degree (Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and I am currently a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Washington.

I am a trained shamanic practitioner and energy reader. I have continued to develop my medicine work through mentorships, ceremony, workshops, and my own guidance and experience. In 2005 I attended an intensive healing retreat in Mexico where we worked with local Mayan healers, and in 2008 I attended a training workshop in Delphi, Greece.

I have studied classical violin, piano, and voice. I am interested in how sound can be used to shift consciousness and promote healing.
