Owner, Glenna Jacobs is dedicated to her clients. She knew electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method and she wanted to provide this service to her clients, giving them the boost in confidence everyone deserves. She looks forward to utilizing her vast experience and love for helping others.

Glenna Jacobs has been owner and operator of Madison Park Electrolysis since 1985. She graduated from San Francisco Electrolysis College and passed the California state boards to obtain an electrologist license. She holds a BA degree from the University of Washington and is an active member of the American Electrology Association and the Washington State Electrologists Association.

I have just completed my second treatment with Glenna at Madison Park electrolysis and I am very happy! Wish I had started this sooner. she is great-​professional, puts you at ease, nice to chat with. Heer skill is immediately apparent and her office is clean and comfortable and there is parking! Her prices are very reasonable. So glad to be done with tweezing and waxing and dealing with chin hairs!

Started getting defuzzed here after having a bad experience with another clinic downtown. While she may be hard to get an appointment with, I found it worth the wait. Im not sure why I waited so long to start Electrolysis, its affordable, and it works. Im already seeing results. Ill take personal service with a small business over a company with a rotating technician roster from now on.

Electrolysis can be scary, especially when you know what can go wrong. I’ve had experience with inferior electrologists and have the scars to prove it. Glenna is a consummate professional. This is the place to go in the central Seattle area. I would definitely recommend Madison Park Electrolysis to a friend.

I have been coming to Glenna for about two years although I don’t have to come very often anymore because the electrolysis works! After awhile the hair just doesn’t grow back. Not sure how you stay in business if you solve your clients’ problem! But anyway, Glenna is great — she is careful, thorough and gentle. Plus she’s easy to chat with for the few minutes you’re there. She puts you at ease and before you know it you’re done. Her rates are good too. Plus free parking!!! Yay!

Glenna, owner of Madison Park Electrolysis, is the best in Seattle. Little did I know when I asked around and was referred to her over 15 years ago that hair removal would result in a long term relationship. Sometimes I’m in every week or two for a while, and then I won’t see her for years… but I always come back because Glenna is good at what she does.
With pregnancies and aging come hormonal ups and downs = hair of different kinds where I didn’t want it. I’ve tried everything: tweezing, clipping, bleaching, laser, waxing and sugaring my face. I keep coming back for more electrolysis because it works and it’s cost effective. Electrolysis zaps gray and fine blond hairs that laser doesn’t affect, and there are no ingrown bumps that are the result with even the most skilled waxing or sugaring. I can scoot in and for a reasonable price can get a pesky new hair removed — $$$ for laser! I have graduated to zapping my brow hairs, because wouldn’t it be nice to take that task off my list of personal care to-​dos?

In short: Glenna knows her craft. I’d had electrolysis treatment in another city years ago and saw no visible effects after several treatments. After just one treatment with Glenna, I saw a noticeable difference. Treated hair grew back significantly more slowly and was noticeably finer. Four or so sessions later and I’ve noticed I feel much more self-​confident and, in spite of the discomfort, look forward to my weekly appointments. Glenna works quickly and can cover a lot of ground in a short 30 minute session. I may have many more sessions to go yet but am feeling positively great about the results so far.
A few other points: Glenna wasn’t terribly forthcoming when it came to sharing information with me and answering my questions on the ins and outs of electrolysis or on how long my treatment period might be, but this might have been due to the fact that she was aware I’d been treated before and perhaps thought I was an «old pro» and didn’t need much information. I find Glenna’s demeanor to be matter-​of-​fact-​ish (which may or may not work for folks new to electrolysis who may need more of a «warm fuzzy» personality). She is quick to return phone calls and, although she has a busy practice, has reasonable availability in the afternoons for us day-​time working folks. She only accepts check or cash so arrive prepared. One particularly convenient item: Her office is located in a strip mall where there is a decent amount of free, off-​street parking, and is surrounded by ample, free, on-​street parking.
If you live or work in Central Seattle or parts nearby, give Glenna a try. She’ll quickly make your hair dilemmas a thing of the past.

I 100% recommend Madison Park Electrolysis. I am even sending my mom to Glenna. This is the 3rd electrolysis establishment I’ve visited, so I’m not stranger to the process. It’s definitely one of the best. Glenna is a professional and she made me feel extremely comfortable. Her office is clean and conveniently located in Madison Park with plenty of parking. I’m already seeing results. I’m also very excited that my eyebrows are beautifully shaped, thanks to Glenna, and no longer take any maintenance. Prices are very reasonable as well.

I have had a great experience with Glenna at Madison Park Electrolysis. Before meeting Glenna, I had tried laser hair removal, to no avail. I decided to try electrolysis and am so happy I did! I have MUCH less hair than I used to have and am just thrilled. The price is also fantastic, especially compared to super-​expensive laser! Glenna is knowledgeable and has the process down to an art. I’d absolutely recommend her!
