A little country preschool right in Seattle! At Little Farm Preschool children experience the joys and wonder of the outdoors while receiving a solid foundation for future learning. Our farmyard includes 3 lovely goats, bunnies and chickens and a large vegetable garden and orchard. We focus on the joy of helpfulness, caring and creativity, while celebrating the changing seasons in a meaningful way.

History

Established in 2010.

Tamara started Little Farm Preschool in 2010 while attending Waldorf Early Childhood training. Adding a barn, 3 goats, bunnies and (soon to come 2015) ducks along with a 900 sf vegetable garden, working hand pump, 8 ton sand box (huge), and various swings and play structures — has created a truly unique environment for children and their parents to be a part of.

Business Owner

Tamara attended WSU and received a Bachelors in horticulture, fruit and vegetable production in 1986. She has spent time in Europe and Australia. After working fro Swansosn Nursery in Seattle for 15 years as Marketing Director, she turned her interest to teaching and began the creation of Little Farm Preschool.
